I don't really care for either of those big Green Constellation creatures. For starters, they are non-evasive 6 drops. The Ox has the obvious drawback that forcing your opponent to block a particular creature is not always an advantage -- sometimes it's an ability that does not change the situation at all.
Trample unfortunately has the same drawback. Usually with Green, your creatures can either break through or they can't -- adding Trample doesn't change how your opponent was planning to block, and there are not good ways to chump in this format, there's no infinite 1/1 token generators or anything like that. Archetype of Aggression gives you the same permanent effect at half the cost. That Archetype is good but not exactly format warping. Putting the same ability on a situational instead of permanent basis, on a 6 drop instead of a 3 drop, feels like a massive downgrade.
I'm guessing both of those cards are filler at best. I would give them both like C- or D+.
That sounds reasonable - I may have been a bit high on him. (Oh and I'm not really plan to go revising grades in my original posting, a) work, b) makes the ensuing thread confusing.
Yeah, it would get very weird if we were referring to grades that had changed. Thanks for making the effort to write this up btw, great starting point for discussion (and I do agree with most of your evaluations, just pitching in on the ones where I don't!).
Thanks. It was fun to do. Looking forward to listening to LR on Thursday to see how I match up with them...
