I just updated my sealed pool generator for Journey to Nyx now that the set has been spoiled. I do not have 2HG or seeded pools working yet, but they will be soon. Here is the link:
If my Sealed pools are anything like these I will probably die. I have been getting pools that were so strong in all the colors I just have no idea what to do. Is three color viable in this sealed?
Is there a reason your generator pulls 3 JOU/1 BNG/2 THS? Shouldn't it be 2/2/2?
The pool will actually by 1 seeded booster (presumably JOU), 2 JOU, 1 BNG and 2 THS. So until I find out more about the seeded packs, this is fairly accurate.
It's be nice to have a 2/2/2 to start getting a feel for post-prerelease format, though.
I will add this as a format after FNM. I'm at work now so I can't really do it now. Come to think of it... We also do Fat Pack Battles at our local store... Maybe I'll do that as well.

How does that work?
Well we have "Fat Headed Giant" which is 1 fat pack to build both 2hg decks.... We also have "Fat Pack Battles" where you get a fat pack for your sealed pool. It is usually done on Release Weekend and it's a great way to pick up a lot of the new set since the format is literally JOU-JOU-JOU-JOU-JOU-JOU-JOU-JOU-JOU
Lol@ "Fat headed giant". I've never actually bought a fat pack so I didn't know how many packs that was. 9 assuming you typed the right number of JOUs...

Thanks, and sorry if it sounded like I was complaining about something you're giving us for nothing...your efforts are much appreciated!
Hey Ottomund, thanks for uploading the Sealed Pool Generator! I generated several pools and noticed that I did not ever get a Lagonna-Band Trailblazer, which is strange considering it is a common.
Thanks for this - I used your generator for Born of the Gods season and it's helped me quite a bit. I rely on card images when building Sealed pools, so this one helps.
Looking forward to the 2/2/2 option, very relevant for most people who'll have upcoming PTQs in that format (myself included). Great job!

You didn't sound like you were complaining at all =)
I added 2-2-2 as a format as well as a fat pack generator. I am going to work on 2HG next.

I try very hard to make sure I don't make mistakes when I put the cards in the database, but sometimes I fail. I will check and make sure it is in there. Thanks for letting me know.

I'm glad it helped. I actually decided to make this because I am a visual person as well and I couldn't find a generator that would let me build a deck easily.

It was indeed missing from the database. I checked to make sure the set had 165 cards when I was done, but somehow I had Spite of Mogis in there twice. Thanks for catching it.

9 is correct.. It is really a fun format - especially in these smaller sets.

No problem. I and (I am sure) many others appreciate that you take your own time and effort to provide a sweet sealed simulator for us.

Please let me know if you have any problems and feel free to get your practice in for pre-release!
Thanks!

Awesome! I haven't won one in a while so hopefully I can this time.

Thanks - I fixed it!

2-2-2 is up and running now too.
