Can you make it so there is an option to not have foils? That small percentage actually makes a large difference sometimes when the foil is a bomb. This would make testing the set much more the way it was designed to play IMHO
Okay, I've gone ahead and added this feature to the latest release and updated the downloads with the latest versions. Enjoy! Let me know if you find anything wrong with how it's implemented. Thanks

I have a previous version installed on one computer and I love it. Works great and I've been having fun generating some odd pools with it.
I downloaded the latest version today to a different computer and I have yet to generate a good pool with it. I keep getting cards listed in the wrong set, Colossal Might listed as an ALA card and Valley Rannet in LRW, for example...odd stuff. I'll try and download and install it again but thought I would mention it. I'm generating pools made from one pack from each set in the current standard. I mention what packs I'm using in case it is specific to cross block pools being generated.
Oh that's interesting. I must have messed something up when I was cleaning up my code the other day. I'll take a look and get a new working version up some time tomorrow.
Um, this might be a silly question, but where do I find the M10 card base to put into MWS? I've never used it before, and I downloaded the game base that was on MWS's website, but it only goes through Reborn. Any help would be appreciated.

Great job and good luck with the java version...
First of all, thanks for the compliments, I am very glad you like the program. I fixed the problem that you were having with the program; I accidentally removed an important line of code last time that reset the common pool after each pack was finished. That is resolved now, and I've updated the executable and source files so feel free to download them again for the fix.
the fix worked, so far, just one typo, Volcanic Submersion is missing the last n
an idea, is it possible to have this run from the command line just passing it the packs and quantities you want? Or, being able to save an init type file and have it load those packs by default? Of course, the feature is mainly of use to me since I am generating some larger/more diverse pools that is typical
Good work, I can't wait to see what other features are coming

Okay, that's good to hear that it worked! Also I just realised that the reason that some cards are showing up spelled wrong (missing the last letter in the card name) is because of how some of the sets' text files were laid out. I've fixed that and re-uploaded the files. Sorry for you having to download new files all the time! This is one reason I'd like to turn it into a Java applet. Slowly making progress towards that though, hopefully I'll have that ready for you guys soon along with some other neat features. After that I think I'll be adding live draft functionality... but one thing at a time
Regarding your request for a command line: I'll definitely look into adding that in the next update, it'll most likely be something you would change in a config file that runs a specific type/# of sets for you.
i have been looking for a program like this for a while now and just come upon this forum. is there anyway that the output can be made into a text file so it can be used for any magic program or even paper? i have never used the program it does create the file for and probably wont. i plat wizards online version and really miss leagues and with this program i could create my own leagues with friends.
Just a quick update. I haven't had a lot of time lately to dedicate to the program, but I'm not giving up on it. I'll try to get some new features added and a new version out sometime this week. Michelob, I will see about adding that feature, it seems pretty simple to add.
Seems like a good program, but what I really want is something that can generate MED packs. I have been unable to find anything online that has any of the MED sets included.

This is an excellent resource. Can we expect a Zendikar update once Gatherer is updated with the set? I need to get my practice on for QTs for San Diego.
Maybe this reality is actually an alternate reality of a reality in which New Phyrexia was the joke expansion and Mirrodin Pure was the obvious expansion, except our reality is the Time Shifted reality which is opposite of that other reality which is that actual reality.

Ditto this. This has been an invaluable resource for practice.
Absolutely, I'll be adding a Zendikar update shortly. Once an MWS patch is released I can probably have the Zendikar update ready within a couple hours. However, it'll take a bit longer for me to add the print runs, so that'll be in the next update after that.
I'm really glad you guys like it. I would also love to be able to implement uncommon and rare print runs for Zendikar if that information is ever figured out. Anything to make the sealed experience as realistic as possible.
Technically, I'm sure the rare runs will be figured out. They just don't hit the public eye as much because no one wants everyone to go milling through boxes.
I think he's waiting for a functional ZEN patch to be officially released. Could be wrong.
That's correct.

I agree that this would be excellent if it included the three Master's Edition sets from MTGO. That would be awesome.
I can certainly add the MED sets, that shouldn't be a problem. I can't seem to find any of these sets in MWS though, are they included? It'd be about 100 times faster for me to add them if they are already in MWS. Otherwise I'll have to make the set lists entirely manually. Also, how many cards per pack in MED, MED2, and MED3? Is it 1 rare, 3 uncommons, and 11 commons like the rest of the sets? Are basic lands included in each pack, are they randomly distributed within packs or are there no basic lands at all in the boosters?
Ghorticus: If you can functionally add the set to the mwBase file, would that work? The magic software thread has a zen text file which can be used as an MWS patch.
