Just wondering if Mr.Anderson or Yellow Balloon have replied back to your PM Zirath, as I'm sure Kevinliu, like myself, would like to get this thing rolling.
I only mention because they haven't even posted in this thread yet.....
I PM'd them and Yellow Balloon has told me that they are attempting to play their match quite soon. I'll give them another nudge.
I mean, hell, we're all on a forum for something that most people would describe as a "children's card game"...do what makes you happy. You are never too old to enjoy yourself.

Yeah, for sure. I have been waiting.
Edit: I just sent a pm to MrAnderson to find out what time to play.

Confirmed. Lost 0-2 to AerronMichael, who I can't appreciate enough considering the technical internet issues we've faced. Great player guys -- beware!

I'm actually going to have to drop lottolion and TGSovereign since both of them haven't said anything and haven't logged on since last week.
Brackets updated.
I think we are doing well guys. This is running relatively smoothly. Next time I'm probably gonna have to cap the event at 32 though so the brackets don't have so many random byes.

No no. It has been discussed before. Single/Double elimination makes the tournament run in "auto mode", which is way better than Swiss and all the mess it produces.
The issue with Swiss is that it makes people wait, which can inherently make an event take 5-6 weeks to run. Running elim implies that there is much less waiting near the end of the event. If it's really bad, then I'll switch back to swiss but I have repeatedly noticed the wait time flaw in Swiss when c_c ran the events.
Im waiting for anen right now, kinda hard to find him. Any chance the OP can have a named game thing so its very easy to find?
Edit: He never showed up, I couldnt find him or he couldnt find me because no one reads game titles and join games called "Waiting on ANEN from mtgsalvation. If thats no you dont join"

If you guys want to pick a name to look for, go ahead. There doesn't have to be a specific name.
If you have to pay for things during upkeep, it is not during draw step. And since you didn't, we just applied the default choice of the ability. Any judge would have ruled that way.
Anyway Anen 2 - 0 Lantern.
I went 2-0 vs Dresden. Close games, but MB tech won it for me even with a shaky mull 5 g1. Misplays were there, but probably not extremely huge ones except maybe g1. Great games, and good luck in the rest of the tourney!
