Guys, on the whole, I am very happy to see that activity level jumping in here. It's great to have so many new ideas and thoughts flying around in here.
The problems are the fact that some of our users aren't following guidelines. I don't like warning and infracting people, but I will. An overview of what each section is for...again...
Proven Competitive: For the most part, new stuff will probably not be added here for some time. We have GP Columbus coming soon, and that will probably give us a better idea of the current state of the format. PLEASE don't post random lists here- it makes the demon on my shoulder very angry.
Developing Competitive: While we don't have many tournaments, there are those of us who get more chance to play than others do, whether it's on Magic Workstation or at their local shop. This area is for the decks that do not fit into Proven, but they do well in their own right. At minimum, for a list posted here, I expect a clear, well-thought post, complete with match results. This is not the place for jank. This is for stuff that could possibly be moved up to Proven, given time and tweaking.
New Ideas: Some of the stuff posted here lately is a bit casual, in my mind. The Legacy area doesn't have a casual section, for a good reason. New Ideas is for lists that need a lot of help, or if you're stuck on an idea. The rules are more relaxed for posts here, meaning that depending on circumstance, lists aren't required. Brainstorming sessions on how to make a deck using a certain card are fine, as long as they are carried out in an intelligent manner. If you do post a list, please use deck tags and give a brief explanation of your choices. We can't help you if you don't give us information.
Archives: You can't post here anyway.
Upcoming Events: Hear of a tournament in your area? Advertise it here!
The point is, guys, for the most part, you guys are great. There are just a few issues, and none of those major. There is respect for others' ideas and many people who are great at assisting with ideas.
And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

This is Deraxas we're talking about.
Remember, the girl that just killed an aspect of herself before literally consuming her?
Yeah, I don't see her handling a pissing match in any way other than a duel.

There are only so many epic, psuedonatural barbarian/blackguard half-dragon akutenshai vampire balor paragons they can throw at you, right?
Quote from Concerning breeding habits of humans in fantasy games »
I suppose it's true. Though the logistics implied in a human/Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon pairing makes me shudder.
...Something tells me that even should all arcane casters in the world unite, that the Grease spell would NOT be sufficient.
