It has come to my attention that certain newer users are not reading the forum rules, instead going directly to whatever they were looking for, registering, and then posting utter nonsense out of disregard for what keeps us from becoming a fustercluck.
So, here I am, formally posting what old users already know and what new users had better learn, lest they get hit with the big fat banhammer:
1. Spam is not tolerated. Since they put me in charge here, I'm guessing my definition of spam applies. To me, spam is a post that is pointless, without meaningful content, or otherwise indicates that the poster put less thought into it than they would for picking out their next day's change of underwear. If you spam, then you will see red letters editing your post and a little red or yellow card in the corner of that post. That means you messed up. Too many of those and you're history.
I always start will yellow cards, as I realize we are all only human and will do things without thinking. If you show a history of not using the brains you were born with, though, you'll quickly be shown the error of your ways.
2. Flaming and trolling are NOT tolerated, in any way, shape, form, or fashion. Remember- arguing on the Internet is pointless. All it does is make other people think you're stupid and make yourself mad.
3. There's a nice little button you can use to report these things to me. It looks like a triangle with an exclamation point in it. Clicking that and giving a brief explanation is not only the right thing to do, it makes my job easier. If you report a post, I WILL look into it and give you feedback if requested.
4. Guys, you know that if you type certain words, it's censored. So using alternate means is not only dumb-looking, it's called censor evasion and can result in trouble. In other words- find another way to say it that remains acceptable to your grandmother.
5. I can't stress this enough- if you post a decklist, use deck tags (it's the one next to the mana symbols on the post new thread page), provide matchup analysis, if you have them, and please explain why you chose the cards you did. We can't help it to become better if we have no idea what you're trying to do. If your thread is just a decklist, it will be moved to an appropriate area and a warning may be forthcoming.
6. If I type like this, I'm being me. Feel free to tell me I'm a moron for playing mono black control in today's Legacy metagame- just tell me WHY. If I use red mod text, though, listening to what I have to say is generally important.
7. This will be a shocker.
All new decks added to the Proven Competitive section must be sent to me via PM before being posted in this section. Failure to follow this rule will result in a warning. If you have a deck that you believe belongs here, send it to me. I will get back with you ASAP on the decision. Proven Competitive is NOT for your Dragon Bidding deck. It is for decks that are well known to thrive in today's metagame, that do well against the top decks in the format, and consistently top 16 or better at most large events.
And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

This is Deraxas we're talking about.
Remember, the girl that just killed an aspect of herself before literally consuming her?
Yeah, I don't see her handling a pissing match in any way other than a duel.

Quote from About epic-level D&D »
There are only so many epic, psuedonatural barbarian/blackguard half-dragon akutenshai vampire balor paragons they can throw at you, right?
Quote from Concerning breeding habits of humans in fantasy games »
I suppose it's true. Though the logistics implied in a human/Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon pairing makes me shudder.
...Something tells me that even should all arcane casters in the world unite, that the Grease spell would NOT be sufficient.
