It is a strong Combo deck and I personally feel that it is in a good spot in the meta game right now. That being said things do change and if the deck picks up in popularity it will put a target on it then there will be more hate. Pithing Needle, Karakas, Detention Sphere, Sower of Temptation,
Thank you for your advice. I think I'll build it because I am not afraid of any of those hate cards towards the deck. I do love the playstyle how we can control till out combo.

So I'm getting into legacy and run tron/breach in modern so I have emrakuls and griselbrands and I've been thinking of picking this deck up over a long period of time (can't just drop cash on volcanic islands) Would this be worth doing or should I look into something else?
It took me about 2 years to get all of the cards for the deck starting with just 4 sneak attacks and 2 intuitions. Although I enjoy playing other decks and trying new things, this is my favorite deck in magic. The volcanics are handy, but they aren't 100% necessary. In many match ups I go for basics anyway to avoid wastelands, so you can definitely get by without them or by using a couple steam vents as a budget alternative.
I say try to proxy the deck and test it out a bit if you haven't to make sure you like it, and if you do, go for it. It's a very fun and sometimes silly deck that I enjoy playing a lot.
Brad Nelson's Sneak and Show deck at the SCG Player's Championship
Differences
- More fetch lands for dig through time
- Flusterstorm over other soft counter spells
- Omniscience in the side board
- No Gitaxian Probe
Does anyone else run Progenitus in high hate situations? Works great against the Angel of Despair/Ashen Rider. Also works when you keep getting chump blocked by little annoying things like Baleful Strix.
Guys, this deck still does broken things. Here is my tournament report from the past two events I have played in. Let me preface by saying that it has been 18 months since I have played Legacy, and I have never played Sneak and Show before (borrowed a friend's deck and updated it).
First event: 4-1, second place after breakers for $50 credit.
First event decklist:
16 Combo Pieces, 4 Lotus Petal
4 Ponder, 4 Brainstorm
1 Intuition, 1 Repeal, 3 Gitaxian Probe, 1 Preordain (flex slots that I chose to help me play it for the first time)
4 Force of Will, 3 Spell Pierce, 1 Misdirection
4 Tarn, 2 Misty, 3 Island, 1 Mountain, 3 Volcanic Island, 3 Ancient Tomb, 2 City of Traitors
Sideboard: 2 Blood Moon, 3 Pyroclasm, 2 Relic of Progenitus, 2 Swan Song, 1 Pithing Needle, 1 Vendilion Clique, 1 Pyroblast, 1 Red Elemental Blast, 2 Echoing Truth
Round 1: 2-0 vs UB Death's Shadow Delver. He had no Wastelands and didn't hit Forces.
Round 2: 2-1 vs Mono Red Stompy (lost a game to Ensnaring Bridge + no bounce spells in lots of cards, got overrun by Goblins)
Round 3: 0-2 vs Death and Taxes (played a practice match afterward, went 0-2...again...)
Round 4: 2-0 vs Miracles (G2 I Pithing Needle Karakas, get to 8 cards in hand including 2 combo pieces and 6 counters, win easily from there)
Round 5: 2-0 vs Mono White Squadron_Hawk_Beats_Fair_Decks (he got first after breakers. not that much interaction from him outside of Swords to Plowshares and a clock)
Second event: 3-0, intentional draw in R4 for $60 credit split between 1st and 2nd
Second event decklist:
same as above, except -1 Intuition, -3 Gitaxian Probe, -1 Repeal for +3 Preordain, +2 Daze.
Sideboard: -2 Swan Song, -1 Pyroclasm, -1 Vendilion Clique for +2 Through the Breach, +2 Defense Grid from my previous winnings.
Round 1: 2-1 vs Burn. Ensnaring Bridge in G2 and no bounce.
Round 2: 2-0 vs UWR Budget Delver. Not much to say here other than Pyroclasm was good. He had Forces but no Wasteland and bad lands...
Round 3: 2-0 vs Esper Thopters. His only interaction is Thoughtseizes, a few Force, and Swords to Plowshares. Not great
Round 4: ID with Grixis Control (from MTGO). We were the only 3-0s so we just wanted monies.
Overall I am very impressed with my G1 win percentage. I am loving the 12 cantrip build with 4 Preordains - it helps the deck recover from discard spells and assemble Sneak Attack plus Emrakul, the Aeons Torn against possible Karakas.
Just wanted to post and promote more activity in this slot. A few questions for more experienced players:
1) Blood Moon? Really? I put it on the bottom with Preordain twice because it just didn't seem that great.
2) Sideboard in general - do I need Leyline of Sanctity?
Last night, went 3-0-1 (intentional draw in R4 for top 2 split) in another Legacy event.
Round 1: 2-1 Death and Taxes. Pithing Needle into Show and Tell Emrakul got G2, quick Sneak'ed Emrakul got G3.
Round 2: 2-1 Esper Thopters. I mulled to 5 in G1, he mulled to 5 in G2, I crushed him G3.
Round 3: 2-0 Grixis Control. G1, I T2 Show and Tell after reading his body language and Spell Piercing his T1 Brainstorm after Probe. This deck is getting popular after seeing some play online, but its only interaction with us G1 is Force of Will, and Cabal Therapy if our draw is slow. G2 I get Defense Grid down and then Show in an Emrakul, all in the first 3 turns.
Round 4: Drew for $60 credit. Played for fun: 2-0 Grixis Delver. G1 I Spell Pierce his attempts to hit land drops and he has to fight back to stay in the game. G2 I drop Defense Grid T2 and then Show and Tell in Emrakul. He tries to race but is a few damage short. Doesn't draw one of his edicts, so he dies.
Please pick this deck up, because it still has game against everything. My list is still the same as the second one in my above post.
Hey, I just put this deck together. Since I'm new to this deck, I'm just running a stock list from the summer of 2014 (link in my signature), before Dig Through Time was printed. What changes would you make, if any, to account for the metagame changes since then?

I've completed about 90 percent of my sneak and show deck, including duals, fetches and all but one city of traitors. I was planning on buying it this year (I bought the first one at 35 euro last year), but unfortunately the spike has made me reconsider the purchase (I'm not willing to spend that much money on it).
My question is: is it viable the sneak & show deck with 4 sol lands? If so, how would you substitute that land space? Replace it with an island may be?
I'm not considering buying another ancient tomb either, I'm just tired from ridiculous spikes.
Any advice is welcome.
Thanks!

Merged into main thread.
New to the deck and currently have this version built as a starting point. No Flusterstorm (yet) but thoughts on running the 1-of vs the Boseiju, WHo Shelters All.
I would Honestly go ahead and buy the second City of Traitors. Trust me, the price spikes are super annoying but city of traitors will not be reprinted (reserve List) so any money that you put into it you wont lose out on. I don't know how Euro's and US dollars compare in value but I know that TCGplayer has "damaged" City of Traitors for under US $100.
I'm moving into Sneak and Show, I playtested it a bit but I never really had to play against it since no one is playing it in my meta. So it's the first time I'm really looking up on the deck. I know that different versions of the deck exist, like most decks. There's one with omniscience, cunning wish, and intuition mainboard(http://mtgtop8.com/event?e=14544&d=287254&f=LE) and the other version just showed up in the top 8 of the last legacy GP(http://mtgtop8.com/event?e=14415&d=286242&f=LE). So what I wanted to know is the major differences when playing each of the versions and the pros and cons of each. If anyone could inform me it would be appreciated, thanks :).

Quick answer is that the Cunning wish version allows you to toolbox for answers to pretty much anything you need. It's also a bit harder to hate out because you aren't all in on the big fat creature plan. The standard list is a bit more consistent as far as getting the combo and going off, but it suffers from certain match ups due to not having the same answers as the cunning wish version.
Wish version - More answers, bit less consistent.
Standard list - Less answers, bit more consistent.
There's obviously a lot more in depth analysis you can get into, but I think that basically sums it up.
random question but I see a lot of sneak and show lists running a 3/3 split of ancient tomb and city of traitors. I'm slowly working on the list and already have a set of ancient tombs. is it much of a difference to run a 4/2 split of tombs over cities?
The card itself doesn't do anything to our deck except the mana acceleration wich makes too easy to cast multicolored powerful cards and removals. I'm happy with the ban.
Is anyone running a current version of Sneak Show to any success? I just picked up the deck recently, but haven't been able to go to any events. I just play test for fun before FNM starts with friends.

Yeah, I think that Jace, the Mind Sculptor can carry you out of some bad situations and be another threat from our deck. Unfortunately the version that I have copied does not run any Jace in the 75. What would be a good sideboard for the current 2 Omniscience version Sneak Show? I am playing at SCG Vegas this week.
