Hey, so Sensei's Divining Top was just banned today. What does this mean for RUG Delver?
(First time poster in this thread, recently went 4-1 in my first legacy tournament at a side event at GP Pittsburgh 2017 on this deck.)
Hello everyone! I just recently bought into RUG Delver for legacy and I have been having a blast. I was hoping someone could maybe give me a general idea of what I should be optimally taking out vs some of the popular decks.

Are you hoping to get a general idea of a sideboard for the deck? Or do you already have a sideboard fleshed out?
A lot of this deck depends on how we value Stifle, whether we keep it in or board it out.
Against dredge, I usually take out my Daze's and Forces on the draw, but keep them in on the play. On the play I'll board out my Forked Bolt, Divert, Sylvan Library, and possibly one or more Dismember. I usually grab 2 Surgical Extraction, 1 Scavenging Ooze, and possibly 1 Destructive Revelry (most dredge decks play some sort of Leyline or artifact effect to prevent interaction).
Even though they use creatures, dredge is more about non-spell triggers and replacement effects, meaning Stifle is actually insanely important and I cannot stress how necessary it is to study this deck or you will lose to it much more often than you should, especially game 1. Even just paying attention to individual BFB triggers can win or lose you the game. Just because your opponent is dredging doesn't mean they're ahead.
Important Stifle triggers: Bridge from Below, Narcomoeba, Bloodghast, Ichorid, Cephalid Colosseum, Street Wraith.
Important moments: Early Bridge from Below that you can Surgical, Narcomoeba triggers with Cabal Therapy in the yard already, paying attention to their mana and looking for Wastelands to choke their already risky manabase.
When I have more time I'll update with more matchups.
Hi! You guys still here? I hear Wrenn and Sixis real good. Are any of you playing the traditional list with Wrenn and Six? How many copies are you playing? What did you take out for them?
For me, I used my forked bolt/Dismember/flex slot for 2 Wrenn and Six. It seems to work alright, although I have only played casual games with my friends with it, and I haven't really heavily play tested the list nor taken the list to any tournaments. I was hoping to fit in 1 more Wrenn and Six but I have already cut down my Tarmogoyf to 3 to fit in my 4 Daze, 3 Stifle, 3 Spell Snare and 3 Spell Pierce config. I'm not sure if I should cut a Daze for it.
If you have any comments, questions or suggestions that will be very much appreciated. I hope we can get MTG SALVATION - RUG Delver FORUMS active again.
