Those are too narrow, there is no space. You have Jitte and Chalice for Burn, and Jitte, TNN and Mutavault for Goblins (with FoW for Pyrokinesis).
It depends if you have Gut Shot/Dismember for Lackey. But you are the beatdown against Goblins, they are just card advantage machine.
Depending on what else is in your Meta U/R/X Delver you could run Blue Blast for Young Pyros and Lightning Bolts, but only if you can get more use out of it than just Burn and Goblins
Not sure how much we get beyond those, but maybe we get an Umezawa's Jitte reprint too! This is a wonderful opportunity to get into Legacy Merfolk on paper if you haven't already.

It's on MTGO. It's not a paper set :/. That's a bummer. O
EDIT: Oh wait, nvm, i read that wrong. It's coming out for both paper and MTGO. This is amazing.
Ugh, just bought the remains of what I needed for Merfolk, including 4 force of will, 2 jitte, 1 wasteland, and 4 true name. What will this do to the prices?

Modern Masters 2 was a complete failure because the price of boosters and rare/mythic distribution was so bad. Those boosters weren't flying off the shelves and I haven't seen a drop for those cards.
Legacy and Vintage support is equally atrocious, with the same booster price as MM2. I would not fear for your investment.
The hard part for me now is to decide whether I keep my current Forces or try and trade them for new ones. I like the new art a lot better, but hate the frame. Same thing goes for Wasteland. I can't decide whether to try to upgrade frames to the newer ones (since most of the cards in my 75 will exist in Modern / M15 frames), or to try for as many Legacy frames as possible. It may depend upon whether there are M15 frame merfolk in the set. It'll also be interesting to see where the foils end up at.
You like that art? I don't for some reason hahah I even like the original better personally
I wish they just used the Judge foil art since that's my favorite art, but that one is also way out of my price range. I also think I'd use Expedition Wastelands.
I'm really excited to be able to get my hands on a set of JP nonfoil forces.. it's the only non-japanese card in my paper copy of the deck. Well, technically my APAC islands are also english, but they totally count right?
Since Force and to a much lesser extent nowadays Wasteland are the only real major bottlenecks into our deck (particularly if you already have the Modern version) and are getting reprinted, we really ought to prepare for the incoming flood (*snerk*) by rewriting the primer. For now I'll volunteer to write it, but if someone else *really* really wants to take over instead they're welcome to do so. It just looks so incredibly bad that our primer both here and at the Source are so out of date, and I think we're going to get bitten by it when new players come in here and get the wrong idea of things that we'll have to correct the hard way.
In other news, I've 4-0ed the last two weeks of our local weeklies. Warping Wail has absolutely earned its place in my deck, and Chalice is as disgusting as always. I used to miss having Dazes in the deck when I first started playing the Chalice build, but now Daze feels like total garbage.
I'm half way to foiling out my deck with low funds for the next month or two. This announcement will just make it that much harder. Bad enough eldrazi deck made foil chalice jump I. Price...
I used to miss having Dazes in the deck when I first started playing the Chalice build, but now Daze feels like total garbage.
That's what I've been trying to tell people for so long! How has Warping Wail helped you? Is it in your main or sideboard? i'm sure it's a good card but I'm curious about its interactions.

I'm trying to tell people this too!
I have been running Warping Wail in my one of slot just to try it (instead of Echoing Truth) and it's been hilarious so far.
Testing Vs Elves, you can exile literally anything and counter Natural Order, GSZ, and Glimpse. Won me like 2 games hahah
It randomly gives you a Scion with the random Cavern Island draws to help cast True Name on curve. What also came up was blocking a creature with SoFi on it (vs DNT).
Still have some more testing to do but its impressed me so far.
Chalice of the Void might be the next awkward card to get into Legacy Merfolk.
The thing about Chalice is that it's something every fish player ought to already have if they're coming from Modern. But, if you're building from scratch or didn't manage to pick them up before the last spike.. yeah. Push comes to shove Daze is still a reasonable budget option, even though it's worse. I actually kind of like starting newer players on Daze over Chalice, because it forces you to learn real Legacy interactions rather than just leaning on GG Chalice to win the game by itself.

I'm running 2-3 copies. As for Warping Wail interactions, most of which I've actually done and a few I haven't:
Things it kills:
* almost everything in D&T, especially stoneforge and regardless of an active Mom.
* Young Pyromancer, which can sometimes get out of control.
* late(ish) unflipped Delver, so I can stop/slow down a race.
* everything in Infect, especially Inkmoth.
Counters:
* Show&Tell. I would have countered 3 S&Ts in a game vs. omnitell, but my opponent said "show me another hard counter and I'll concede" so I never got around to actually casting the Wail there, but I still count that as a Wail win.
* a critical Life from the Loam. Don't remember why it was critical.
* a bunch of stuff in Storm (discard, Infernal Tutor, Burning Wish, Past in Flames)
* reanimation spells.
* Lethal GSZ/NO (you can also kill the elvish dorks, but.. they're not really that scary relative to, uh, Dying on the Spot)
The Scion:
* sac fodder for Liliana and Smokestack
* pay for a Tabernacle trigger
* end the game 1 turn sooner if you're otherwise 1 off lethal
* block and sac for mana to prevent lifelink
There's definitely a pile of applications I have yet to discover, especially for that scion. It's of course always going to be the worst mode, but I think there's still a lot more cool tech lurking in that mode.
Hmm, with both Image, Wail, and Truth as solid maindeck interaction vs. dredge, can we afford to shave a slot or two of SB grave hate? Unlikely, but I don't think it is entirely out of the question. I've always ran 3 relics, but it might work to run just 1 cage and use the 2 slots for something else.
I've been cutting back on graveyard hate prior to wail. We can do a decent job game one vs dredge long as they don't go off turn one kill. I wouldn't run more than two SB.
What's really funny vs dredge is a lot of dredgers don't even know how to play there deck.
I played this one guy whom bragged about his dredge experience. I beat him game one because he didn't realize Cursecatcher needed a target to be sacked. I figured this out early on in the match and was laughing inside the whole time.
Also helps to know dredge inside out. Since dredge is still one my fav decks and one I refuse to lose against I goldfish the decks against each other least once a week.

Went 3-1 at my LGS Sunday legacy tournament. Finished 5th.
Lost to Eldrazi 0-2, game 2 turn 2 Thought-Not Seer sucks when you have Back to basics in hand.
Beat Grixis Delver 2-0. Chalice on 1 is always fun, especially coupled with Back to Basics.
Beat Tezz 2-1. He was able to turtle behind Bridge game 1.
Beat Soul Sister brew 2-1. Game 2 she was able to resolve a couple large angels with vigilence.
