Hello fellow MTG lovers. I have recently become obsessed with Legacy Aggro Deck building and I was wondering if anybody either had any contributing ideas to offer on how to improve my current setup or on different styles of decks that might be more effective. I manage to consistently kill turns 1-3 with this Deck. Usually turn 2.
If you look at most infect lists, they run a lot more countermagic and card draw than you are running, and a good deal less pump.
Of course, that makes them less consistently win in the early turns, but it gives them a stronger game against most decks by allowing them to defend their creatures more effectively and to interact with other combo decks.
Here is the infect list I run, for example (from memory, might be a bit off):
less explosive, but more consistent is basically what's going on here; less easy to get blown out by FoW or a random removal spell. so that is my suggestion. if you look at the top placing infect decks on mtgtop8, they are something like that one. not saying your version could not work, and in fact it could be an interesting way to take the deck, but something to think about
Thank you for commenting, but I find that my sideboard is sufficient for turns 1-3 counter protection, and the deck falls apart in the mid to late game as the enemy deck stabilizes. Also you HAVE to run 4x berserk in this deck. Only having 9 realistic pumps and 2 Become Immense kind of ruins the whole tempo. Thank you for your input anyway, I appreciate all feedback.
