After building a similar deck in Modern I wonder if it can work better in Legacy where I have better mana acceleration, better tutors and better counters.
Not an expert, but it seems like it is reasonable. It is nice that Altar of the Brood does not target, so you don't have to worry about bouncing Leyline of Sanctity or similar. I think that a couple of lands could be cut. Storm mostly runs 13-15, Sneak and Show around 17.

The idea is to stick an Enduring Renewal + Altar of the Brood and mill the opponent by repeatedly casting a 0-mana artifact creature like
Walking Ballista (or Hangarback Walker).
The deck has Enlightened Tutor to find any piece of the combo and Lotus Petal + Ancient Tomb for acceleration,
the rest of the deck is the usually mix of cantrips and cheap counters (pretty similar to what I've seen in decks like "Sneak and Show").
Here is the deck:
4x Enduring Renewal
Creature (4)
4x Walking Ballista
Artifact (7)
4x Altar of the Brood
3x Lotus Petal
Instant (18)
4x Enlightened Tutor
4x Brainstorm
2x Impulse
4x Force of Will
2x Flusterstorm
2x Spell Pierce
4x Ponder
4x Preordain
Land (19)
3x Ancient Tomb
4x Flooded Strand
3x Island
2x Plains
3x Polluted Delta
4x Tundra
1x Detention Sphere
1x Engineered Explosives
2x Flusterstorm
1x Grafdigger's Cage
3x Leyline of Sanctity
1x Pithing Needle
2x Surgical Extraction
4x Swords to Plowshares
