So, this is a deck I've been playing for about a month. It started as being played in a control shell similar to The Nightmare Effect, but after suggestions from a few people on The Source, it was decided that it would perform best as a straight combo.
The deck splashes Blue for Personal Tutor and Lim-Dul's Vault, as well as for Protection in the form of bounce spells and counter spells. The blue splash also allows the deck to Transform into a Show and Tell combo deck post-board to avoid hate, if needed.
As mentioned before, the deck features a transformational sideboard into a S&T deck, as well as featuring 6 bounce spells to fight minimal hate, if your opponent is playing a deck that has very few ways to fight off the combo or a deck that has a positive match-up against S&T decks.
You can forgo the transformational plan, and fight hate head-on if it better fits your playstyle or meta. If going this route, Spell Pierce is likely better off as Pact of Negation. The Iona back-up plan can also be cut. My current sideboard for a non-transformational build is:
There are very few cards that stop the combo. Echoing Truth and Wipe Away (and Eye of Nowhere in the mainboard) fight off Leyline of the Void and Humility, in addition to Relic of Progentius and Tormod's Crypt. Wipe Away and Trickbind can fight an active CounterTop. Pithing Needle and Trickbind help fight Tormod's Crypt and Relic. The discard is for Faerie Macabre and Extirpate, mainly, but can also be brought in against an obscene amount of counter magic, where your own counter magic and discard is not enough.
Your opponent will just give you Devourer, so you'll need to find a discard outlet and a reanimation spell in order to win. It also isn't Tutorable with Personal Tutor, which also makes it worse than Buried Alive.
this is my build has a bit more land, and something fun in sideboard. since we have a SnT SB why not add the emrakul DD pile. personal tutor can grab it seems like it might be something to try

I like the idea of including the Doomsday plan. It only takes two slots and improves quite a few match-ups. Putrid Imp would be better as Aquamoeba since you usually won't be casting either, and Moeba pitches to Force of Will.
The goal is to use Buried Alive to put Necrotic Ooze, Phyrexian Devourer, and Triskelion into the Graveyard, and then Reanimate the Necrotic Ooze for the win.
The deck splashes Blue for Personal Tutor and Lim-Dul's Vault, as well as for Protection in the form of bounce spells and counter spells. The blue splash also allows the deck to Transform into a Show and Tell combo deck post-board to avoid hate, if needed.
