So, I had this idea (that I am sure someone else had):
Birthing pod + finks (or any two 3-drops) had a new pod chain enabled with felidar guardian that doesn't require as much setup as the old Exarch/Conscripts/Kiki chains. Only three activations starting with either a finks or two 3 CMC creatures:
1) Pod finks into Guardian, blinking pod
2) Pod finks into restoration angel, blinking guardian blinking pod
3) Pod guardian into kiki
So the challenge here is that you're already in Naya and you'd probably want your deck to include either blue or black for some kind of disruption (therapy or force). Probably be tough to rely on just podding/zenithing into hate creatures, but it might be feasible.
The interaction is fairly weak to Revoker/Needle, but pod doesn't die to decay, and it has some advantages over Aluren in that it's not symmetrical and the creatures you play are generally independently stronger than Aluren's creatures. Also GSZ gives you some tools to fight through revoker style hate.
I'm thinking I'm most likely reaching here and that this couldn't be legacy playable, but wanted to pick your guys' brains a bit
I played a junk pod deck in legacy for a little while and I could never find any success with it. The version I had used the angel/spike feeder combo and used rhinos. It also made use of veteran explorer and cabal therapy.
Kitchen finks was very weak when paired against almost every creature that is played in legacy (both Thalias, tarmogoyf, young pyromancer, Gurmag angler, and monastery mentor as examples). Most of the other creatures had the same problem.
Although removal is less prevalent in legacy than modern, it's the type of removal that completely negates a strategy like pod (Terminus, Swords to Plowshares, and punishing fire).
I used having township but it never got activated because of how prevalent wasteland is in the format. It's not uncommon in legacy to me stuck on 3 lands.
