It has a fair deal of "problems" especially as the format isnt really healthy for it.
If one too many gets exiled, you are screwd, if they discard one extra from your hand its also quite bad (as you need to find another), getting the one on the battlefield (i just notice it has hexproof, so it probably wont be destroyed that easily).
So theres a bunch of pretty nasty problems for this (slightly less thanks to hexproof).
In the end Intuition is a really good card for this, as you get to tutor for 3, get one in hand, one in the grave and exile the other from the grave.
So that card helps A TON, but you still have the problem to stick a 4th to the battlefield ; something that Academy Rector could do, sacrifice outlets might simply be Cabal Therapy, in combination with Githaxian Probe it might help to fight against the problematic removal the opponent will have.
As the combo is kinda fragile, you might better opt for consistency and ignore the Lotus Petal and such at first to get simply get the 4 copies going and have answers to super common problem cards.
I like the intuition idea best, but I feel like theist likely way is omnitell into enter the infinite,
cast HA, cast another them counter it with force pitching the third and your done, maybe a singleton time warp to finish it. But then it is probably a worse than existing onnitell versions
You might have luck with adding infernal tutor to the list you have there, to find the last copy after intuition
You need Leyline of Sanctity at least in the side, if not the main, to avoid getting Thoughtseized, Hymned or Duressed, and Disenchants in the board for Rest in Peace, Leyline of the Void or Relic of Progenitus. One or two Disenchants main may not even be a bad idea, in case you manage to get two Hedrons into play, and need to bin one of them.
If you've already got one Hedron in the graveyard, and your second one gets countered, you need a way to move cards from your graveyard back to your library. Noxious Revival, Feldon's Cane, Conjurer's Bauble, Reito Lantern or something? The artifacts are at least tutorable with Enlightened Tutor as well.
Pull from Eternity is also necessary, at least in the side, since a resolved Extirpate or Surgical Extraction is pretty much auto-lose for you otherwise. You can also bring back an exiled Academy Rector with it.
Bamboozle might be janky but interesting, although Jace, Vryn's Prodigy might be better for getting one into your graveyard.
You can also run Extract and Argivian Find in order to hit a first turn Intuition, followed by a second turn Extract and Find, then cast an Alignment (given an ideal hand of mana with no protection), leaving you with one in each zone for your third upkeep.
A user named Sammy PUG posted today (07/01/2016) a decklist in a large brazilian trade forum. Hers (or his, whatever) used Doomsday and cantrips to reach the desired board (and off-board) state quicker. However, the original version was quite unprotected. I tweaked a little bit with it and added a couple of the suggestions found here. The resulting deck is below.
Ideal scenario is: Dark Ritual + Doomsday for 3 Alignments (4th is removed) and Predict on top. Following turn, Predict + LED in response, and you get every Alignment you need in it's place. If you have an Alignment or more on your opening hand, you may use FOW, LED, Relic or even a Brainstorm before Doomsday to get it where you need it.

This is why I don't play Doomsday, it makes my head hurt.
I tried breaking it down into steps to make sure I understand right. Even though can go off on turn 2, you don't win until your next upkeep, provided nothing gets disrupted, correct?

T1: Land drop, play Dark Ritual, play Doomsday
Library: (top to bottom): Predict, Hedron 2, Hedron 3, Hedron 4, ???
Exile: Hedron 1
T2: Draw Predict, land drop.
play LED
play Predict, retain priority
crack LED, discard hand (add UUU)
Predict resolves, place Hedron 2 in graveyard, draw Hedron 3 and Hedron 4
Play Hedron 3, Hedron 4 in hand
Win on your third upkeep, provided nothing gets disrupted
Exactly.
That's best-case scenario, though. Most games will run with the player skimming through the library first, usually with Brainstorm or Sensei's.
Turn 1: U/W land, If you have Hedron in hand, nothing. If you do not -- Enlightend Tutor.
Turn 2: Sol Land, Hedron
Turn 3: If Intuition in hand - upkeep trigger, respond with Intuition and surgical/Faerie to win. - otherwise cast Merchant Scroll.
Turn 4: If you didn't go off turn 3, Repeat turn 3 steps.
I think that's pretty good for a turn 3/4 combo deck? Fairly reliable - running 8 draw card, 12 protection spells, and combo pieces which double as draw and maindeck graveyard hate. . . and the enchantment component of the combo cannot be targeted . . . and most cards in the deck pitch to blue.
Seriously that's not bad.
Only cards that really needs to be excised and replaced is the Merchant scroll
You will play 4 brainstorm in any blue combo deck in legacy so long as you play blue 1 drops. This is also doubly true in a deck with doomsday as resolving brainstorm post doomsday is one of the best ways to utilize the card doomsday.
When I saw the card I thought of doomsday. The problem is it's a pass the turn pile as a requirement since you win on upkeep and we certainly aren't going to want time walk effects with the amount of mana they all cost since final fortune being RR is awkward, savor the moment at 1UU is too much mana as any pile involving casting savor and hedron the same turn sounds far worse than simply winning the game with a lab maniac or tendrils of agony especially since a protected lab man pile looks like this/costs 2UU since LED pays for lab man, probe is likely free, IU is UU, and sphere is 2 to play and crack to win immediately with lab man in play.

Probe
Chromatic Sphere
LED
Lab Man
The biggest problem I have with hedron as a win con is that you have to run 4 big fat clunkers in your combo deck as hedron doesn't really do anything outside the combo outside insane corner cases where you have piles of mana to scry with one in play. Just seems way too fragile to cut it above current combo in legacy and likely worse than solidarity post dig through time banning/pretty bad.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
I'm kind of on the same page with Bread here. If you're playing Doomsday, there are just better ways to win that don't require playing 4 cards like Hedron Alignment in your Doomsday deck.
That being said, I don't think playing Hedron Alignment is bad for forcing you to play 4 bad cards in your deck--Show and Tell decks play tons of cards that actually do nothing on their own, for instance. The strength of Hedron Alignment is that you can choose to build your deck in a way where only the 4 Hedron Alignment are bad draws; the A+B element of this deck is Hedron Alignment + A bunch of cards that move your cards where they need to go. Also, this really seems like it would be a deck filled with cards that let you spin your wheels, so I feel like Monastery Mentor should be somewhere in the 75.

Not sure if it's competitive enough, but it's fun. I think it works a little better than with Intuition.
