I love this deck. Why isn't everyone playing this deck? It's doesn't die hard to FoW and can kill quicker than most creature deck. It dies to Storm, but what doesn't?
Please help me with my sideboard, I'm really bad at it.
I like your enthusiasm for legacy, and your desire to brew. Rather than a sideboard tweek, you may want to consider this deck's role in the format. It's very much an all-in combo deck without much protection (force, discard), but it looks like it plays out a little slow. Combo decks without much interaction need to aim for turn 1/2 kills, or they will not only be vulnerable to force, but also faster combos. Because you can combo with two lands, you have some resilience to counters, but are still vulnerable to wateland and swords.
If you like this type of combo deck you may want to check out belcher. It's a pretty cheap deck. It needs four leds, but they can be used to build a lot of combo decks. This is a fast combo deck that puts up decent tournament results. At the very least it will demonstrate the format dynamic I discussed.
If you enjoy the dark depths combo, you will likely need to add some more interaction. I've been tinkering with the combo myself, but have it in the roll of control finisher. If you're interested, we can compare notes. I'm thinking of using a blue force/brainstorm control shell that uses intuition for loam/depths/stage as a compact, but slow and inevitable combo. I've toyed with exploration and counterbalance packages.
Let me know what you think. I sincerely hope my advice is not stifling to your creativity. The last thing I want would be to discourage brewing in my favorite format.

If you want some inspiration, Lands is currently running that combo as a potential finisher.
STATISTICS.
All of these "Let's eliminate bad cards" crusades are simply ignorant. And when they start to devolve into "WotC is conspiring to give us crappy cards," they just become embarrassing. MATH is conspiring to give you crappy cards.

You can play with Vesuva: it will copy Dark Depths, but not the token on it. So vesuva will become your 20/20 Indestructible Flying beater.
I don't know if it fits your colors, but Knight of the Reliquary can be a good tutor for finding whichever land you're missing. With fetch, it can be a good drop 3.

This deck exists in b/green. It is called Turbo depths, and it is often run by Lands players who fancy a change or can't afford tabernacle in real life.

No worries. I had to look that up myself not too long ago, as I'm in the midst of building a land.dec with that combo.

OH, I have! I've been working on the more controlish build, but once I get more DD I can work towards the combo build. Love this deck though!

Mods, is it okay if a primer is made for this in the developing section?
Otherwise, control decks like Punishing Pox or Lands.dec seem like better shells for this land-based "I Win" combo.
Remember that Marit Lage dies to StP, Diabolic Edict, Jace, etc. Stifle also stops his creation.
While there is a "fun factor", going all-in on assembling this combo seems less consistent than playing any of the tier combo decks.
Yes, that works.
As does putting a dark depths into play with an active blood moon, and then removing the blood moon.
I like the inclusion of fling in the original build though. that's some pretty serious in-your-face unexpectedness!
