As the title states, there is an unlimited proxy event next weekend where I live and i'm going. I could play Maverick or Bant or Sneak and Show but I figured since it's unlimited proxies I want to play some kind of way out there convoluted deck that I can just proxy up.
So my question to you is if you were going to do that which deck would you choose. Please try to think out of the box.
I'd pkay either lands or TES. if I only played to winI'd play TES. also to whoever saidimperial painter, sold choice. I have nevet personally played the deck of any variant but I like yhe UR lists a bit more.
Well as it turns out my friend who was using my force of wills is no longer going so i'm going to play some form of fetch land heavy brainstorm fish list mainly because I predict everyone and their mother playing combo decks.

I smell Countertop being a good choice then.

Current Decks:
Modern
Modern Warp / UR Control / UR Storm / Naya Breachshift / ElectroBalance
Legacy
Solidarity / Lands / Sneak and Show / Grixis Delver / Reanimator / Belcher / Storm / Dredge
Countertop stymies most combo, while Bonfire can help him get G1 versus something like aggro
Because I want to actually play something fun :p. UWR miracles is just not my idea of a good day out. I seriously considered a tezz deck but with an underground sea on the line I think to maximize both fun and winning ability aggro/control is where my comfort level lies.
Playing any deck you want no matter the cost? LANDS!!!
I am a bad person, but for some reason I love that deck.

Retired: Too damn many to count Vintage: URWelder WUBRG Dredge Kitchen Table: B Zombies in Your Head
The most expensive deck in the format of course/dutch stax. Runs 4 elspeth, knight-errant, 4 moat, some humilities, 4 tabernacle at pendrell vale or something...I'd love to run that deck but it costs infinite to obtain a playset of moat and tabernacle's.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
So my question to you is if you were going to do that which deck would you choose. Please try to think out of the box.
I think the more relevant question is... where do you live that they have unlimited proxy tournaments? I have a ton of proxy-only test decks here that I thought would never get serious play. hehehe.

Here are the little self-imposed guidelines I'm working with for the multiplayer decks I've been building:
• Must be cheap. Total price tag < $100, preferably < $50. Ideally ~$30. No one card greater than about ~$6
• Format: Modern (makes getting the cards somewhat easier for the play group, and almost all my cards are Modern-legal)
• Must be relatively interesting in 1:1 games. I don't need to win against Splinter Twin, but I should be able to play duels now and then
• Avoid instant-win combos; they only serve to make me target #1, and then the deck is worse than useless because I get killed first, every time
• Must have a funny name!
Battle of Wits deck and just pack in every epic amazing card and all the appropriate tutors because you can.

I play version of this Deck in paper form.
4 humility
3 moat
3 ghostly prison
3 suppression field
3 crucible of worlds
4 trinisphere
4 chalice of the void
3 elspeth knight errant
4 mox diamond
2 Armageddon
1 wrath of god
1 tabernacle
Plains, ancient tombs, city of traitors, the white legendary land that grabs a plans when it hits the yard, wastelands, etc.
The deck would be a little better with one more tabernacle.
It is fun to play and you get to ultimate elspeth a lot.

The best place to look for some sort of analogue to this event is Cockatrice. I find there to be a heavy amount of control and midrangey deck, with very little to no combo. Cloudpost is nigh unbeatable against nonwasteland control, and can have good game against midrange and aggro as well. The only danger is wasteland, which is handled by mainboarding pithing needles.
So my question to you is if you were going to do that which deck would you choose. Please try to think out of the box.

And that new Omniclash version can't even contain them turn 1 wins.

I would either want to play the most consistent combo deck that can win the quickest, or a deck that is the most consistent against a blind meta.
