Hi there! Recently a few of my friends and my self have started playing legacy. Well I have seen a few pie charts here on MTGsalvation forums that really break down the other formats and was wondering if someone has done this with legacy? Thanks in advance for any reply's!

Well, if your interested in an overview on top legacy tourny performers there are plenty of sites that catalog results from all over the place, like the MTGO results on wizards.com for instance. Remember that legacy is a very diverse format so while its good to be familiar with a lot of the staple decks local metas may vary drastically from one to another.
But like everyone else has said, your meta can vary widely depending on how developed it is and how serious players are in your area. Right now the most popular decks in an established meta are: Maverick (whoop whoop), RUG Delver, U/W Miracles, and Show and Tell. Other notable decks are Storm (many variants), Goblins, Merfolk, Charbelcher, Reanimator, Dredge, and Esper Stoneblade.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
Awesome, thanks guys. We plan on attending a lot of events this year for SCG. Thats maily what the information is for.
We currently have Mono U Fish, The Gate, Esper Miracles, Infect, and UR Delver. We want to proxy uo some decks to gst familiar with the top contenders.
It is really meta dependent since no deck is perfect. Heres my opinion on the 5 current tier 1 decks.
RUG: I don't like this deck. Its good at being efficient and smashing for 3 damage every turn. Some decks can't handle getting smashed by a 3/2 flier. The downside is that some decks can easily remove the delver against your soft counters that does nothing late game. Some decks also play cards that generate card advantage. I want to throw my deck out the window when someone Cycles Gempalm Incinerator on my Delver of Secrets or when someone plays a 5/5 and I can't deal with it.
The Miracle deck: I think this is one of, if not the best deck in the format. Terminus main deck means you will smash creature decks all day long. Counterbalance lock is very good against other control decks. The biggest problem with this deck that prevents me from playing it is how it goes to time way too often. I don't want to ultimate with Jace and draw the game because my opponent has 4 cards in his deck. That is just silly but it happens and happens all the time. Pithing Needle and Krosan Grip is also becomming more and more common in the meta. Without the top, it shuts off Counterbalance lock and the Miracles. The deck actually doesn't do anything if it can't find the right cards.
Esper Stoneblade: This is a 50/50 deck like RUG but way more versatile. It trades speed for more powerful plays that can overturn games. It has very nice sideboard options like Perish and Discard. The discard helps against control and combo. While the board sweepers can easily handle creature decks. This is probably one of the best decks to play right now. A deck im afraid of with this deck is Goblins. Theres not much that can actaully sweep a goblin board. Perish doesn't do anything and EE doesn't work since Goblins have mana cost 1-5. I had to sideboard Humility because im so scared of Goblins.
Goblins: Most creature decks lose to board sweepers like Terminus but Goblins generates so much card advantage through Matron, Gempalm, and Ringleader, that it can still put up a fight after getting the board wrathed. Not many decks can deal with Goblins unless they establish Jitte lock early in the game. The only thing I feat playing Goblins is combo. Those Show and Tell decks can smash goblins quite easily. Some lists board white for Thalia but thats probably not going to stop Show and Tell. You really have to hope other blue decks can beat combo for you.
Show and Tell decks: These are becomming stronger and stronger with every release. They have become so scary recently that they are favored to win game 1 against everything. Even the tier 1 blue decks have trouble winning game 2 and 3. The downside of combo decks is that they don't get much stronger post board. While every accepts that Show and Tell is super scary and board accordingly. If you failed to draw that perfect hand, you might not be able to push through all the hate cards. It really depends on what people boarded. Sometimes you face against decks that only had Thalia and you laught at it. Or sometimes you play against Esper Stoneblade and they have ALL the counterspells and ALL the discard spells.
