This is a little hard to explain, as I don't fully understand what I am looking for.
I only play socially with friends, but it's still ok to have "competitive" decks (we have Goblins, Burn, Ravager, Merfolk). Currently no one plays a combo deck. Mainly because of the inherent nature of combos to suddenly just go "I win".
I want to make a "Combo" deck. But I'm looking more for a deck that has mini combos go off multiple times, rather than suddenly just winning (if this happened sometimes that would be ok, but not be the focus of the deck).
Are there any decks that "mini Combo" and kinda go off multiple times?
ThopterSword is probably one of the few combos that doesn't directly win the game. Show and Tell/Sneak Attack could also work as well since it doesn't win the game immediately.

Forgemaster combo could be a great option if you want to do insane things that won't necessarily ruin the fun for anybody.
I'm actually really looking forward to testing Forgemaster combo more with Faithless Looting being printed in the next set.
You will have a lot of really broken lines of play like Faithless Looting a giant robot into your grave and cheating it in with Goblin Welder, Forgemaster into Blightsteel. You can generate INSANE amounts of mana with Metalworker + Grim Monolith + Voltaic Key, and even elements of control with guys like Lodestone Golem, Trinisphere, and Chalice of the Void.
For all the broken things the deck does though nothing wins on the spot, and there is plenty of room for your opponent to interact with you.
Not exactly the best deck in the format or anything, but easily one of the most fun decks I have ever played. It feels like you are playing Vintage Workshop decks at times.
You could splash blue in goblins and play Pestermite + kiki jiki. It'll win when you land it, but you'll still winning by goblin beatdown most of the time.
hrm, first thing that comes to mind is: solitary confinement + argothian enchantress + enchantments shell (see enchantress). but that's usually not too fun to play against as the first few turns decide the game anyway :/
next i suppose i'd do kuldotha forgemaster MUD, but that is more of an all or nothing deck anyway, and it's quite inconsistant :/
you could try nic fit, a BG(w) midrange deck that sometimes runs birthing pod sometimes, and usually uses recurring nightmare to create all sorts of shenanigans.
i suppose if you can afford it, time spiral/high tide/ blue sun's zenith could count as a combo deck, and it is very counterish early game to a turn 4-5 kill.

Edit: Oh and I forgot to mention it's the only deck that gets to play with over the top cards like All is Dust and Karn, Liberated.

perhaps
thopter foundry+ sword of the meek with counterbalance+ sensei's divining top which is a solid control deck with a lock combo and a finisher combo.
