With the first few spoilers out we can talk about Amonkhet cards in Frontier. The format is relatively small still, only ~2x the size of Standard so there should be plenty of playable cards.
The card pool in the format is currently growing so any slight improvements with existing decks is a major plus. I'm pleased with the the reprinting of Aven Mindcensor, though my mind cannot stop wondering if any other Invocations reprint is in the set.
I'm looking into playing burn/sligh so I'm watching for cards that can make the deck faster
Glorybringer should be a planeswalker murderer, although tapping out for it when Saheeli is in the format is a bad idea.
Glorybringer seems decent against CopyCat as it potentially kills both halves - Saheeli with 4 attack power in the air and Felidar Guardian with exert.
Aven Mindcensor could be the base of a new Hatebears deck in Frontier.
We do have the new Thalia to pair with it as well. Other than fetchlands I can't think of another prominent strategy it hoses though. Chord of Calling hasn't taken off yet.
Mindcensor is a great hatebeat for this format. It stops Traverse and all the mana search cards (fetches included). This printing actually makes me think that Wizards is planning for Frontier to be a thing.

In case I didn't tell you, I don't care about your opinion I just want your facts. And not the facts that make you seem smart. I want the ones that are actual facts.
A lot of people play frontier, you just don't see coverage of it as much as modern or standard because it's so young. It's basically the middle ground between pauper and modern in my own mind. At least until time itself ticks the costs up and makes it as expensive as the modern format.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
I can't see it ever hitting Modern prices. Modern is weird I need that it encompasses a time period where Magic almost died. Kami had an absurdly small print run as Affinity basically killed Standard attendance. My friends shop actually went under from it. He has since reopened and wisely has mutiple games supported at his store. Frontier has sets with HUGE print runs. The only costly items will be the fetches and maybe baby Jace.

The one lesson I learned from looking at the history of TCGs is never under-estimate the march of time. That and I got a feeling that wizards will be starting their next non-rotating format from BFZ and up. Given the card feel and security measures it seems like they were prototyping in M15-Origins and BFZ is where they got the new security measures largely in place for counter fits. The other factor is that they don't want fetches in the next format because they have too many powerful synergies with some of the mechanics they now have like Delirium, revolt, etc.
I've actually been trading out of a lot of m15 and kahns block stuff myself except for things I want for commander because the two sets are almost 100% guaranteed modern only. Origins is up in the air, but I doubt it will make the cut due to being under opened and being a core set.

To be fair, everything they print makes frontier better, really. Things that are broken in standard usually aren't broken in frontier thanks to the Kahns block and m15 block. I wonder if this means we will see enemy SoI lands sooner than later.

The dual lands are as big a deal here as they are in Standard, but moreso since they don't compete with Shocks (as they do in Modern). I think they're a fabulous addition to control decks in the meta, even before we consider the interactions with The Gitrog Monster and Splendid Reclamation. They also help the SOI lands.
Aven Mindcensor is a YUUUUGE add. Blocks fetches. Seems good.
Glorybringer kills 'walkers all day every day, and may also be what is needed for some sort of Red-based Dragon deck to take off; this deck isn't even a thing in Modern but Frontier is a different world. I mean, maybe not since Stormbreath Dragon leading the charge of Draconic Roar and Thunderbreak Regent never happened in that Standard, but either way Glorybringer seems worth testing.
Flameblade Adept is really, really, really strong. I don't quite know if a red aggro deck with Adept, Monastery Swiftspear, Smuggler's Copter, and Fiery Temper could be a real deck in Modern but it seems much better suited here. Maybe a new breed of Atarka Aggro with that stuff alongside Noose Constrictor? Also of note is that Adept is a warrior.
I wouldn't count the blue god out just yet. Kefnet the Mindful is a very powerful creature and unlike something like Lupine Prototype, has legitimate uses outside of just being crew fodder. Another card that just got a whole lot better is Splendid Reclamation thanks to being able to get back the lands you end up looting out of hand or cycling for card draw.

New Gideon - As a three mana walker I would be shocked if he didn't fit somewhere. In Midrange / Aggro he is an indestructible 4/4 beater and in Control he blanks your best creature forcing you to over-commit into a sweeper. His emblem seems least likely to be used but can be a nice roadblock in some matches. I would love to see someone live the dream and use every version of Gideon possible in the same deck.
New Liliana - Personally I am in love with the card and have to play her somewhere but objectively I think she will have a tough time. Is she a mid-range value walker (Abzan) where you make value plays getting Siege Rhino and company back? This might be where Liliana, the Last Hope outshines her.
Or is she part of a dedicated reanimator deck where you try to cheat out discarded fatties? Right now Marvel does the same thing and still lets you use cast triggers - which are important to the top end creatures. Maybe there is deck out there that wants to do both.
I think this misses the fact that you don't have to spend multiple burn spells if you have made the creature ineffective as a blocker with one burn spells. This is after all going to be in a deck that wants to attack almost all the time so you just want to prevent their creatures from stalling you.
Not in love with the Fling reprint as it could effectively work as Shrapnel Blast 5-8 in 8 Ensoul, which is already very consistently quick to get to 20 damage.

It makes more sense to me because Modern is a few cards shy for a Legacy Deck. I don't see the point in playing modern when I can play Legacy.

I don't know if Dark Deal + Archfiend of Ifnir makes a deck, but I am intrigued to try it out. Maybe midrangey with Drake Haven, Jace, Vryn's Prodigy, and other loot effects and good cycling cards. Heck, I could also see if Drake Haven + Baral, Chief of Compliance can fuel a powerful blue-based control deck.

Gideon of the Trials
Liliana, Death's Majesty
I found an article ranking the Frontier-legal planeswalkers: https://thejapanhobbyist.com/2016/10/28/a-new-frontier-power-rankings-planeswalkers/
Ironically enough the two highest rated are Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and Liliana, the Last Hope and the earlier (better?) versions may be what keep the Amonkhet versions from seeing more play.
