So, I would like to build a some what competitive Pauper EDH Aggro deck since it seems that midrange or control decks are the way you should go and I would like to take something different to my playgroup. At my LGS they play 2 vs 2 using any uncommon card as a Commander.
I was thinking on a Boros Go Wide kind of deck, but I just feel that aggro in general just don´t have what it takes to do 40 points of damage using 1 offs.
Any suggestions will be of much help, from Commanders or just common cards to use as a Boros deck or even some other aggro viable idea.
I play an Aggro Pauper deck (when I get to play). It is aScarland Thrinax token deck that uses Altar's Reap type draw and things like that to use the tokens. Also add some trample and evasion for my growing commander. It plays similar to a Voltron deck but I do have a Volcanic Rush as an overrun for going wide. Its slower like a midrange deck because it has to build tokens up. But always having a few small blockers that can be sac'ed to Thrinax is a great way to deter attackers. I need to find another good overrun effect, but team pump and trample is hard to find at common. With the sacrifice matters and token makers, the synergy feels like you are playing a standard commander deck. I call it "Mini Kresh".
Also an agro deck that I have on the bench is a Trostani's Summoner populate deck. There are about 6 or so good populate cards that can populate the 3/3 or 4/4 tokens. Then you can Blink Trostani's Summoner for more tokens and go wide. Probably more of an agro than the Token deck because it makes more large creatures instead of 1/1's and 0/1's.
Quick note for tokens. The original Eldrazi drones that make the 0/1 spawn are some of the best token makers at common because they give you the most bodies for the mana cost.
Lastly, a friend plays a full agro RW deck with Blaze Commando which is interesting. Red White has painfully few draw spells and with all the burn required to make the deck function, your hand size dwindles quickly. I have not had much trouble dealing with that deck because all I have to do is find removal by turn 5 or so, then nuke the general on ETB. That way only a few tokens get made and then I reset the removal for the next time. It may be that his build is too All-In, but be careful with RW because it is very hard to draw cards.
