I'm pretty new to the pauper format, though slightly less so to the EDH format. For a while I was seriously enjoying the Tiny Leaders format until it basically died at mt LGS's. So as an experiment I built two pauper EDH decks for me and my daughter to take with on vacation, but I built them using Tiny Leaders format rules. The only exception was to lift the 50 card restriction so that we can have 60 card decks. That was really my only pet peeve with TL as well.
Some of my card choices were limited to cards on hand, but I thought I'd post my lists up here to see if I can get some players with more experience to give some feedback on the decks.
First deck is Zameck Guildmage. I designed it to hopefully go wide and gain card advantage from his two abilities.
My second deck is built for Dragonsoul Knight. Though the Knight is a 5-color commander, I chose to basically go mono red burn cause I'm not yet confident with the fixing in pauper.
Hey, I actually wrote something extremely similar just today, and do I think that tiny leaders has a lot of merit of as an edh variant though I dislike the converted mana cost limitation. As far as deckbuilding goes, I think you should try to abuse Dragon Soul Knight's ability and take advantage of the 5 colors provided to you. I think cards like Kising Wolf and Regathan Firecat are very weak though.
