With the advent of wastes, colorless Pauper EDH became a possibility. Admittedly, it isn't very ground breaking in terms of play style, it isn't very powerful, and it lacks focus; but the card pool is very limited to work with.
I am interested in any suggestions you may have, as it is very likely that I missed a few cards that could improve the deck.
You're allowed to play Commander's Sphere in a colorless deck, but you won't be able to tap it for mana. Also, Barbed Sextant cantrips like the cards Zombie Shakespeare mentioned, but it doesn't net you any mana.
While the Eldrazi are probably the most powerful options for a general, I'm not confident in a colorless PDH deck's ability to generate 9 to 11 mana. It may even be worth running a mana dork like Millikin or Plague Myr as your general just to help get things going.

You would never guess, at the terrifying sight of the man, that Hunding was as charming a companion as one could wish for.
I tried this a few years ago, and ended up using Plague Myr due to so few 0 and 1 CMC mana sources. There have been some changes since, but mana sources are still lacking. The main three you haven't mentioned are Springleaf Drum, Sol Grail, and Lotus Petal. Mana Prism was made common online through Vintage Masters, so that may be an option as well depending on your rules. Ashnod's Altar might be a good card to include too, even though you can't really afford to use it like a mana rock in most cases.
Yeah I built a colorless pauper edh deck and while it's alot of fun, even with all of the mana rocks it was still hard to get going in the beginning. Will work more on this in the future though and see what I can come up with.
I made many changes to the deck with the BFZ and Origins sets, as well as the most important part, Wastes!
The deck now features more Eldrazi as well as more cards that can be used in the deck as opposed to the list before which was crammed with ways to give me mana.
Do you think Bane is better than Artisan of Kozilek? You get quite a bit more for 2 more mana IMO.
Wastes certainly makes colorless PDH viable in theory, but is it a viable option compared to the alternatives? Any monocolored deck is probably the closest comparison, and the only reason to go colorless would be a better choice of general (since you could include any of the individual colorless cards in a mono-colored deck too). Here's my assessment:
Mono Black: Crypt Rats is strongest general and probably one of the top five decks in any PDH scene.
Mono Green: Garruk's Packleader or possibly Wirewood Symbiote is most powerful, arguably more so than Bane/Artisan.
Mono Blue: Peregrine Drake is a combo commander that can take games at full power EDH tables, definetely more powerful than Bane/Artisan.
Mono White: No real consensus on what the most powerful commander is. Daru Warchief/Accorder Paladin? Voice of All/Beloved Chaplain? A rebel searcher like Defiant Vanguard? Or maybe Aven Mindcensor if you want people to really hate you? It's possible that Bane/Artisan is better than these, but hardly so much better that it's worth missing stuff like Oblivion Ring.
Mono Red: Probably the weakest color choice for PDH. Flametongue Kavu is still a pretty strong general choice, and access to good removal including sweepers is nothing to scoff at.
All in all, I'd probably put a post Wastes colorless PDH deck slightly behind mono red and mono white on the power scale, but not much further behind than red/white is already compared to U/G/B options and dual color decks. So I think it can be hold a viable place in the power continuum.

Walker of the Wastes is probably an improvement on Epochrasite, finally - yey! It could probably be decent as a voltron build.
