I recently got into Tiny Leaders, playing a multitude of decks (4 and counting). My latest one needs some help.
The main focus is to get Glissa, The Traitor running to use Thornbite Staff along side Viridian Longbow to control the board. Having said that, I'm running into obvious consistency issues. Keep in mind, Tiny Leaders is made as a 1V1 format. In our group, we play 5 man FFA, sometimes Emperor based as well if we have enough people.
Could use some expert insight for the deck to make it better.
Overall the deck is solid, i gained its first and 2nd win last night... But it was a tough and long fight. I'm hoping to clean up some of the deck to make room for some better suggestions.
I would be playing Nihil Spellbomb and Moriok Replica. They draw you cards, and they work well with Glissa's recursion ability. These can help you dig for card you need. I think Hardened Scales is an easy cut, and I think Wild Defiance can be in the sideboard to bring in against red decks. But the switches are for you to determine.
Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Well im happy to say the deck is working much better when playing 1V1, took on a Merfolk deck and won both times. I found myself having to wipe the board in order to win (only way to deal with True-name nemesis And some enchantments. I'm working on a way to better the deck, but combination of lifespark spellbomb and using executioner's capsule is a great combination to start weeding out the opponents land!
Thanks for the suggestions, will have to look at revising the deck hopefully before the weekend and make some changes.
Hardened Scales: Speaking of, why are you running this? The only creature you have that it works with is Gyre Sage. Nylea's Bow isn't a compelling reason to use it either.
Quirion Elves: If you want another mana dork, max out on one drops first; the second ability is rarely going to be relevant. This should be Fyndhorn Elves.
Joraga Warcaller / Rhys the Redeemed: You need to decide whether this deck is elf tribal or not. You're running too many non-elves for these cards to be effective. I'd recommend going non-tribal and just ditching these guys.
Rakshasa Deathdealer: I don't know about this card. I'm not as against him as some of your others, but my instinct is that he's just worse than Putrid Leech.
Wild Defiance: Is this just burn protection? 'Cause much like Agent of Fates, you just don't have any spells that target your own guys.
Praetor's Grasp: This is going to miss a lot since you only have access to two colors.
Reverent Hunter: A combination of a lot of removal in this format killing off your little dudes (most of whom aren't GG anyway) and all of the black guys you're running makes this guy a lot worse than he'd be in a dedicated devotion deck.

I've gone against my fair share of Geist of Saint Thraft decks with good results (noting that the Metagame here in the Philippines involves mostly geists and all swords, so we get to use [/card]reclamation sage[/card] more often.)

Hey, Executioner's Capsule has an admittedly weak synergy with Lifespark Spellbomb, but how much LD do you get in Tiny Leaders, anyway?

Also, Moonglove Extract, Ark of Blight, and Conch Horn have been good.

Overall, I think you really need to add some more focus to abusing Glissa's artifact ability. Perilous Myr, Moonglove Extract, Sylvok Replica, Moriok Replica, things like that.

The Goal of the deck is to either go stompy with Ezuri, Renegade Leader, or if its just to hard to get through, whittle enough life make life loss feasible (you can do that with just a Priest of Titania and Wirewood Lodge for about 7-8 mana total at the minimum, with the left over carried by Ashnod's Altar. Life loss cards include Exsanguinate and Damnable Pact (Which you can also use to draw for yourself. The ramp and dorks also help in pulling off Ezuri, Renegade Leader's ability more than once. Theres also a Three-Card infinite Mana Combo between a leve 5 Joraga Treespeaker, Quillspike and Devoted Druid
