This is probably my new favorite Pauper EDH deck. With Pauper EDH finally picking up at the shop I go to, I've decided to build some new decks. This one, while sort of a rough draft, is my favorite. It utilizes cards like Cloudshift, Steel Leaf Paladin, Otherworldly Journey, and so on, to keep laying down Trostani's Summoner, and amass a huge army of tokens. The best part is, killing my commander helps me more than it hinders me. This deck spits out 7 mana in no time, and the extra two has never been a problem.
My question is, am I missing any effects that will either bounce or blink the summoner? This list basically just ramps into her, then drops large things to support her until I get more blink effects. I feel like the list is too linear, and I want to be able to effectively recover from something like a Fade Away. The deck is certainly creature heavy, but the majority of creatures do something, still, I feel like a lot of changes could make this list better. Thoughts?
This deck is definitely a rough draft, so I appreciate all the feedback. I'm certainly going to make quite a few changes with your suggestions. The deck as it is now is only comprised of cards I already had on hand, so there is tons of room for improvement.
Interesting build. It seems you try to be as fastest as possible, so there's not even any GW tapped dual there.
Fangren Marauder... metagame call? I can see only a few artifacts in your deck.
The deck is definitely built to move as quickly as possibly, beyond that, I don't typically use gates/duals in a deck that runs green. I never run into mana problems, because I have some sort of ramp that will ensure I get plains one way or another.
Yes, the marauder is certainly a meta call, but honestly, I don't take a lot of hits with this deck on the table. I amass so many tokens that life loss is a rare thing, he should probably be removed.
I have no idea how I missed Kor Skyfisher as a way to replay the summoner. Antler Skulkin is another great card for me to sink mana into as well as recur many creatures, not just the summoner. The Antler Skulkin is seriously crazy, it brings back the summoner, makes tokens, she dies instantly going to the command zone, then I get to cast her again. That's synergy.
As for the Sporemound, I guess the card is situational. If I get it early on in the game, it spits out tons of spores. If I get it later, then not so much. I may switch it out if I find a better replacement for it. Oakgnarl Warrior is already in the deck, I just seemed to have forgotten type him into the list, so I'll need to find a different replacement for the Sporemound.
Ivy Lane Denizen has never worked for me in any deck I've built, she never shows up when I need her. With Trostani's Summoner she might be a little different, I'll give her a test drive.
Rancor used to be in the deck, but was far too underwhelming. +2/+0 Trample when I'm spitting out a 2/2, 3/3, and 4/4 frequently just doesn't make much of a difference.

Anoint will definitely go in favor of Evolution Charm

The Wirewood Guardian is specifically there as a beater that can cycle, he has served me well thus far. Perhaps the Elvish Abberation will find its way into the deck in place of Fangren Marauder or Sporemound.
