In what universe? If you build a deck like that, and ever draw that hand, I will personally come to wherever you live, perform complicated acts of awestruck ********, then disembowel myself to escape the world that allowed something like this to occur and validate you.
Crackdown Construct + Martyrdom (please look at the errata), add in Spitemare or Boros Reckoner + one spell that gives indestructible and you can either kill one person or everyone at the table in one go.
Beyond that I've found Martyrdom to be a invaluable defensive card along with something like Ajani's Presence.
I have found that my defenses have been actually fine, as blocking and flickering tends to make sure that you always have blockers, so at this stage I don't feel the need for Martyrdom, but I can see it could be a very hard card for some opponents to literally beat.
Hi guys,
Since you blink and you haste a lot with all those cantrip,
What do you think of abusing Mangara of Corondor???
Actually this is definitely worth a test. I will try it as a source of removal over Wear // Tear as I already have plenty of Sunforger removal targets, and I want recursive removal as much as possible.
As you say you can even combine with a haste effect like Crimson Wisps or Expedite to get use out of it maybe every players turn with a flicker effect as well.
Please, post feedback on Mangara.
I have buid the deck, bont wont be able to play it or test anything for a few week!
Thank you!
OK, I tried it out today and he was amazing. Literally cast him on Turn 3. I had a Justiciar's Portal, and so from Turn 5 onwards I was exiling a permanent every round. Which was enough to keep the game under control.
Then I had Paradox Engine in play, and what you can do is tap him, respond with any spell, untap, tap him, and just cast as many spells untaping him and targeting stuff. Then your last spell is an exile effect, and he remains safe and tons of stuff get's exiled all in one go.
What makes him even better, is that there are not the many decks that play so many proactive instants, so it allows you to use the Paradox Engine and him for lots of untapping. Not many decks can line up multiple spells like that at instant speed.
Oh yesss!!!!
Thank you for the feedback and the testing!
I knew it couldn't be that bad!
This interaction with paradox, crazy!!! Good find!
Can't wait to play it!
I played 4 rounds of feather... Most games I started with 2 lands... and was struggling to get to 5 or 6 lands.. I don't own much of the expensive mana rocks... how did you guys cope?

I think so. If your running Knight of the White Orchid and/or Tithe, then in my opening hands I consider these a land.
Admittedly the less lands you run, the less options you have for mulligans, so if I have a three lands starting hand I'm probably going to keep, even if the rest of the spells are not the best for an early game.
There is so much card draw in the deck that once you are part way into the game, 35 land is going to mean hitting lands drops and not flooding out too majorly. Depends on your artifact mana, but try and play as many as you can, so for example if you are not running those zero cost artifacts, then at least try and get in Marble Diamond and Fire Diamond as alternatives.
Martyrdom from alliance, do you think it might worked?
Alot of times I cannot attack profitably , I wished for something like vigilance granting spells or some redirect effect.

Martyrdom is a card that some decks will just not be able to beat..straight up.
Even a combo deck that relies on infinite damage can be stifled by a Martyrdom and a creature protection spell or exile.
So I'm going to say the more casual the meta, the stronger a card like Martyrdom becomes.
I personally not sold on it, just because it does very little at any time other than the late game and only against aggressive decks. Against control and storm decks it's pretty average.
You just redirect all damage and then in response exile it so the creature doesn't die. Of course you can just let it creatures die if you have your tokens or excess creatures in play. But the one-two punch means you can keep it up forever.
This is not true. In the Gatherer rulings it says:
"If the target creature is not still on the battlefield when the damage is to be redirected, the damage stays where it is."
And if you exile the creature and it enters the battlefield again that is kinda the same as it is not considered to be the same object as the one the damage should be redirected too. If you give the creature Protection or Indestructible, that works just fine, but exiling doesn't help.
This has been in my iteration of the deck since I made it and yes it's a very good addition.
