Congratulations on achieving the Primer tag for your thread! It was given with great pride by the Committee and I applaud the dedication you put into building your thread into Primer status!
Appreciate all your efforts at getting me to submit it, I wouldn't have done it otherwise I don't think. Thanks for championing me.
Congrats on the amazing Primer! Definitely well-deserved!
Thanks a lot. By the way I've noticed that your primer tags are not on, and I'm assuming it's because you put the [Focused] tag on? Have you contacted anybody about it? Just remove the [Focused] tag to start off with I think.
Indeed. Congrats. I'm marveling at not just the look of the OP but the formatting of your sig, too. Do you make the card images yourself?
Yes, I like to do custom images for my commanders, and I even went to the effort of doing animations for the Commander 2018 planeswalkers. I really like to make the characters themselves pop out of the cards, looks dope. You'll have to trust me that I'll never have enough room in my signature to put all the stuff I want

'Twas a pleasure. We certainly went back and forth with you on the formatting, haha, but it came out beautifully. When we finally get approval to do articles for Commander Primers, yours will definitely be one of the first ones we spotlight.

Don't be surprised if I try something similar. Hadn't really seen anybody do "more than text links" in a way I found appealing.
I'm also curious what this "back and forth with you on the formatting" entailed. Not sure I'll be trying for primer status on my Chainer thread, but I do want to offer that level of information and UX eventually.

I read through your 'Chainer — In the Darkness of Dreams' and looking like a great start. You'd need to flesh it out more for a primer, but if you've got a lot of experience with the deck and enjoy it, then writing about it is fun, so I would encourage it if you're passionate enough about it.
The Primer application threads, that darrenhabib was trying to reference, are unique and private to the user submitting them, so a general user can't access them. Like darrenhabib said, he had all of the information we're looking for (and then some, haha) but it wasn't formatted in a generally appealing way. With the changes that he instituted, the Primer became a slam-dunk accept since it's now formatted in a way that an average user isn't intimidated by.
If you'd like I can coach you through the process that darrenhabib experienced so that you have a guide on writing a Primer. PM me if you'd like a walkthrough, Lyonheart.
There is a content channel called the "The Trinisphere" which looks to be sponsored by EDHREC and they literally played my deck in a Ravnica Allegiance commanders theme. I noticed that the deck tech is basically literally my list exactly, which is flattering as the purpose of this thread is to help and inspire. The only differences are they play Great Oak Guardian and Mystical Tutor over Grim Monolith and Time Warp.
I do think however that they should have credited and linked to the Primer for the deck itself? Am I being a little egotistical or do you think it's important to make sure that people interested in the deck or commander can easily find the original source with much more in-depth explanation of the inner workings?
I think it's worth asking them if they used your list to start with — or at least ask if they'd add the link to this thread as a resource link for the commander for more info.
If they used your decklist card-for-card they should definitely credit you. The odds of someone building your same exact version of Prime Speaker Vannifar are too staggering to calculate. Let’s just say it’s practically 0. If their channel grows because of their content but their content is taken from other players, credit should definitely be given. It’s not like they’re gonna pay you or anything. But they are piggybacking off your very hard work and there’s no shame in them crediting you for it. You should definitely politely ask them about it.

OK cool, I asked politely and they have added a credit and link to the primer.
Is a new card from War of the Spark (even at uncommon). Similar to Eldritch Evolution, but with some important differences. You have to select a creature exactly 1 converted mana cost more, where Eldritch Evolution you can go for converted mana costs at 2 higher or same or lesser. Not a huge deal, often you'd be looking to always get to the maximum converted mana cost out of the cards, but there might be situations where you want to convert a creature into removal that would require you to get a lower or same casting cost creature for example.
But the main difference is that Neoformdoesn't get exiled. This card is perfect for the deck as it's another backup way to win without Prime Speaker Vannifar in play.
In conclusion
You have to cast Neoform five times and cast Archaeomancer, so realistically going to need to be spread out over probably a couple of turns. But in games where Vannifar has been shut out, it's a very good game plan. So when War of the Spark is released.. Add
+ Neoform
Time Warp was one of the backup plans without the use of Vannifar, but requires Birthing Pod as well, so Neoform is just a bit more of an elegant solution.
I don't think you can get Neoform back with Greenwarden of Murasa's exile-on-death. You put Neoform on the stack and pay costs, which includes sacrificing Greenwarden, whose death trigger goes on the stack before Neoform has resolved - Neoform isn't in the graveyard yet to be targeted. So you'd have to return Archaeomancer or something with Greenwarden and use that to get Neoform again.

Yeah you're right. It'll have to be Archaeomancer which is more clunky, but oh well.

Some less obvious ones also represented: Body Double (the masks,) Tropical Island (behind DEN,) Thousand-Year Elixir (in her hand; this one's actually rather obvious, I'm surprised you didn't see it :P) and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds (the wolf mask is a small nod to Selvala's wolf.)
As for hiding of gameplans, aside from Piper/Selvala, most people already know how Vannifar wins.
