Eminence is a powerful ability attenuated by restricting its effects to a single tribe. Having constant access to a Splinter Twin in your command zone for the low cost of 1 is a pretty attractive quality in a general, but I found there aren’t enough strong wizards yet to create a complete decklist. I was also not satisfied by filling out the list with control aspects and combos as the main strategy.
Enter Arcane adaptation, Conspiracy, and Xenograft. These enchantments at the core of the deck kick our creatures into overdrive. With any of them in play all of our creatures graduate Wizard University with honorary degrees! This list has a large suite of etbs and on-attack triggers that in some ways is reminiscent of Roon of the hidden realm and Riku of two reflections strategies.
These are the biggest nonwizard payoff cards at the top of our curve. All are fairly strong without Inalla’s Eminence, but really get going when we have one of our enchantments in play. I’m also leaning into a token subtheme as well to possibly make use of Inalla’s activated ability. This may warrant adding some anthem effects like Obelisk of Urd and Coat of Arms. The Primordials, Titans, and other Gearhulks could easily make this list as well.
To supplement Eminence, these cards let us double-down on nonwizard triggered abilities, or triple-down if we’re running at full throttle. Mimic vat may not technically perform the same way, but it’s a good way to reuse our creatures or dip into our opponents’ spent resources, and it’s less fragile than Saheeli Rai and Splinter Twin.
I’d love to hear thoughts and feedback. Inalla can be pretty narrow if pigeonholed into solely wizard tribal. Opening up her Eminence to any creature creates interesting opportunities and synergies. I have hopes that this deck will keep me entertained for some time seeing which creatures are most fun to copy, and I hope this list generates some interest or inspiration for other users. This list still leans on the Wizard creature type and I’m wondering what wizards could be cut in place of stronger etb/on-attack creatures lower on the curve?
Teferi's Veil is an additional way to make your tokens survive beyond the "exile at the beginning of the next end step trigger" since there's nothing to exile when it's phased out. As of C17, tokens no longer cease to exist when phased out
Nova Chaser seems good here. For 5 mana you get 10 hasty trampling power on the board. If you don't have a way to save the token you can just champion the token to pay for the original's cost: it won't have haste but it's still a 10/2 trample for 5 mana that way. It's also good if you can Champion one of the big ETB creatures with it: it will deter your opponents from wanting to block and kill it but 10 to the face is a big number.
Do note that this only works with the 2 blue enchantments, since Conspiracy overwrites the original creature type.
Warstorm Surge could give the deck some additional reach.

The secret to enjoyable Commander games is not winning first, but losing last.

Oh wow! I saw Teferi's Veil included in some other lists recently but didn't clue in at all that it's sort of a second Sundial of the Infinite, something this deck greatly wants.
Nova Chaser is spicy and interesting, I've never seen it before. I can imagine it being dead in hand many games but the cost/power ratio makes it look fun to try.
Surge should definitely make its way in here, especially with an include like Nova. Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Grave Titan are other obvious omissions I blanked on. Also, Fanatic of Mogis is one I'm on the fence about.
I love this idea. You are running Perplex and Brainspoil, which is smart because they double as tutors for those delicious enchantments. Are the "pure" tutors left out on purpose? At the very least you need Diabolic Intent to capitalize on the soon to be exiled wizard. Also, this deck needs Vela the Night-Clad. You are already running Rite of Replication (that's 25 damage to each opponent on resolve) and creatures will be leaving your battlefield left and right. Plus, wizard!
Thanks Imdehaven! The transmute cards are a good rate to get what we need plus other bonuses like Bloodline Necromancer if we do happen to want to combo off . Vampiric Tutor and company aren't included because I don't own any, and I find the restrictions created by transmute interesting. Diabolic Intent fits my budget and will make it's way into my next shopping cart, as we do have a great way to capitalize on it's "drawback" even though this isn't necessarily a graveyard-based list.
Vela the Night-Clad could arguably replace another six drop like Noxious Gearhulk, and I do like the benefits she offers in metas filled with boardwipes. Though I feel that Gary does a good impression of her at a lower cost, especially when it comes to Rite of Replication.
