The trick to it relies on Rings of Brighthearth, use it to add 2 counters then untap and take your 2 turns. Granted you skip one of the 2 turns due to the effect, but you can just lay it down and do it again the next turn.
Also, after getting games in this weekend, I realized I can't really pull off any of the combos without some kind of tutor package. I would always get half of it in my hand and never see anything else. Might save this idea for the eventual rebuild that lead more into a control style. As it stands now, this build just messes with board states and locks up the board and I may or may not sneek a win in.
Again, I don't think that works. The COST of getting that extra turn is tapping Magosi, removing an eon counter, and returning Magosi to your hand. That last effectively removes any other eon counters that are on it...you can't remove multiple eon counters in one tap because the one activation has yet to finish, which removes your counters, as I said.
I'm no judge, but I maintain that this doesn't work.
Apologies, its the tap, take an extra turn part you are supposed to copy with rings, not the counters part. But the combo does exist, thinking maybe it would work better in a different version of merieke than mine. I don't have reliable tutors to fetchyou the pieces.
I've been working on a control build for Merieke and speeding up Vorinclex, so atm I've just been jamming my Nekusar and ISBpathfinders Edgar Markov list on the weekends. Needed to switch things up for a bit. Don't know how long it'll take me to get the other 2 rebuilt, it's kinda stressing me out lol.

On your second point, I would not even suggest running this in Merieke: run it in Sharuum the Hegemon; Conjurer's Closet, a few mages, and you can tutor all the pieces you need.
