Or, On Large Posteriors, Truth, and the Mechanisms of Male Arousal
This is a casual Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper + Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa deck focused on high toughness, low power creatures, life gain, and unblockability. It's not very good, since this list is a prototype, but I think with a little more tuning and tweaking it could be a lot of fun to play.
The rules:
1) No tutors.
2) If a creature has more than 2 power, it must have a higher toughness value than power.
3) If a creature has 2 or less power, it must have toughness equal to or greater than its power.
4) Very few cards over $2. Except for the manabase. I can't abide a sloppy manabase.
5) No blatantly overpowered cards. Except for Sol Ring. Obviously.
The gameplan is pretty straightforward. Peck away with your weenies if you can, gain a lot of life, then start spending that life and mana on card draw, weaponizing the life gain, or simply casting Hatred on ol' Sidar on turn 5 to immediately knock someone out of the game. Fun!
I'm thinking of including things like Liliana's Shade or other firebreathing creatures to abuse with Sidar, but given a three color manabase I don't expect them to perform well. Shade's Form however might just be too cool to not use.
As a fellow appreciator of buns and honesty, I approve this decklist. Seems like Forgotten Ancient could have a home here. Maybe even the beautiful Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit. Instinctively I want to suggest Siege Rhino but I am guessing there is a reason he isn't here already. Also I think every creature based deck running green needs Lifecrafter's Bestiary.
Good call on Forgotten Ancient and Lifecrafter's Bestiary. I think those will be fine additions, cutting Duelist's Heritage (because it sucks) and Abzan Beastmaster (who breaks the rules). Siege Rhino was in initially, but it didn't make the cut because I was afraid it would be too strong. Then I did some test runs against my other decks and boy oh boy is this list janky in a good way, so I'm adding Siege Rhino back in over Dawntrader Elk because it doesn't allow me to cast a turn 3 Sidar. Not sure about Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit, though. She seems low impact and counter synergistic by making my small dudes no longer unblockable, but she does help my bigger butt ladies I suppose. I think I would rather run Daghatar the Adamant because he can transfer all his counters to an unblockable creature.
EDIT: I'm also replacing Foul Renewal because it sucks. It's a 2 for 1, but I have enough removal as is and Painful Truths is a 3 for 1 very consistently.
Yeah, I can't ever seem to find a spot for Anafenza. Dat art tho! Nature's Revolt could be a hilarious late game win con if you had enough lands in play. Evasive lands FTW!

You know, it's funny you mentioned this, because I was thinking about finding room for Rude Awakening precisely because of winning with lands, my favorite permanent type. The prototype even ran Hissing Quagmire, Shambling Vent, and Stirring Wildwood, but I cut them because ETBT is a major turnoff as is 4 mana for baby beats. Nature's Revolt is great (dat Tempest art) but it plus Wave of Reckoning when I have a superior board position could be oppressive. On the other hand, I don't run tutors so it's unlikely to happen and if it does at least it's a funny way to end the game. I can find room for both.
I also want to find room for Nature's Will, possibly some more "untap all creatures" effects like Benefactor's Draught, and Brave the Sands. Vigilance (or pseudo-vigilance with untap effects) is very good when board states get gummed up.
