I'd personally look into including a few more spell doubling effects (Fork, Reverberate, Reiterate, Wild Ricochet, Dualcaster Mage). The first four can be doubled with Wort (essentially quadrupling any spell), the latter can be used to conspire other things. They also allow you to hijack value spells from others, which can lead to some silly situations. And since you're already running full basics Early Harvest can do some obscene things when multiplied several times, since you can tap all your land for mana before each individual copy resolves.

Yeah, I saw your budget build and took it as a shell. I used to have a Casual Goblin Sharpshooter deck back in the day that used Tooth and Claw and Goblin Warrens so I think I'll be taking my direction that way. I'll take the doublers into mind; again, an early shell. I think the idea is just to use a ton of Goblins; unfortunately, it's hard to get Red Green tokens for ease of Conspire.
I've got to say, Wort has surprised me by how quickly it can just utterly go off with massive lasers.
I don't like Chaos cards so I'll pass on that, though someone did make the suggestion of Kaboom! and that made me laugh.
fair point, i was just thinking, if you could duplicate it 1 or 2 times you could do some pretty crazy global damage across the board, before potentially duplicating some spell to win the game by removing everyone.

Double Damage seems pretty good, especially since that becomes Quad with Conspire. Xenagos lets me do big mana plays or just generate Red Green tokens that are great for Conspire. Gruul Signet seems to be vulnerable to a host of intentional and accidental removal. Treacherous Terrain might be easy for me to cast, but by the time I do it's only hitting people for 5 or 6. It would be better to have something like Searing Wind or Urza's Rage if I were to do that.
Also, this deck really loves Basics. Every single time I saw a Nonbasic I frowned.
Cut the nonbasics because everytime I saw them they caused more headaches, which I've got to say is very weird.
Ranger's Path is more expensive to cast and only gets Forests, Cultivate fetches me whatever I need but with the Red-bias, it's probably Mountains. Boggart Shenanigans doesn't cut down the table like Throne of the God-Pharaoh or has massive potential like Vicious Shadows, so I put in more mana acceleration with Burgeoning. Second Harvest could provoke a Wrath but otherwise, I didn't really notice a good use for it. The deck does bananas when it access to mana doubling, which Early Varvest can provide especially with the move to all Basics. I love Goblin Sharpshooter but it never did anything for the deck, most of the time it got stymied by the amount of big butts that are in the game. Pyro Goggles should be fun when I copy the crap out of all sorts of spells.
I don't need more ramp at 6, I need draw. I added more draw with Revelation and I had a hard time figuring out what to cut and decided to get rid of a Creature that didn't really impress me. So the Chief got cut with Nissa's Renewal.
I found that I wanted to hold onto Hull Breach to ensure a 2-for-1 and it made me play badly. I've also had the advice that this type of deck wins by winning quickly, so adding in Price to do more damage. This also enables me for more EOT Fall of the Titans.
Decimate frequently didn't have 4 targets, much less 8 if Conspired so it gets cut. Arbor Elf relying on untapping a Forest got on my nerves more than tapping for a mana, just because of random things based on Lands. Goblinslide is OK, just not a draw engine like I looked for in this update. Volcanic Vision costs a lot and while it is a Wrath, in theory this update adds more draw which should let me race better, and it also had the problem of frequently not being able to return things that were large enough to nuke my opponents' stuff.
I've added in Purphoros as a way to kill the table faster, especially if I get massive mana and play a X spell that puts Creatures into play. Firebrand Archer helps burn the table down. Smuggler's Copter is easy to Crew with the amount of 1/1s the deck creates, aiding with the draw and has two good synergies with having the ability to tap down my entire army: Throne of the God-Pharaoh and Harvest Season. Lastly, Nissa can quickly pop her ult to have Wort draw whenever a Land enters play, which helps fuel for big turns.
Currently, I am still unhappy with the deck because it is a little inconsistent. Usually the solution to that is throw more draw at it, but I'm not sure how much more I can do that. I'm in an awkward spot where I don't want this deck to be super competitive, so the usual advice of 'Race Faster' when it comes to Burn isn't appealing or possible.
If you want a bit more consistency I think I would find room for stuff that play with your graveyard a bit. Green has various regrowth effects while red has things like past in flames, Mizzix's Mastery and that red sorcery from EMN that grabs you spells from the yard.
Other directions would be animating your lands and/or use some more damage doublers.
I think you're right RaltheMad on adding recursion. It would possibly be the easiest solution for card draw, maybe even a Season's Past, though I am getting more fond of the idea of cutting a lot of the more expensive spells for more workman-like stuff and rely on value to push me through.
Spider is neat but doesn't make Red tokens, just Green. The Dragon Broodmother makes R/G Creatures for amazing convoking, who having flying for combat and can devour if I get real desperate and try to outsize my opponents.
After seeing how much work Neheb, the Eternal did on the latest SCG Commander VS, I'm thinking of trying him out. He's relatively cheap, provides a solid body that I can swing with or Convoke and can provide loads of mana. I might need to retool my spells to be a bit more burny.
I cut the Wave because I never had time for it. I do think I should be adding a lot of recursive spells and spot removal and get some sort of value chain going. Right now the deck continually gets stuck in topdeck mode.
Faithless looting should be in there just for the flashback alone.
What about commune with lava? I have heard great things about this card and with the amount of ramp you have it might be impressive.
Other draw effects to consider would be Outpost Siege, Magus of the wheel, Runehorn Hellkite and Chandra Flamecaller (several chandras could be useful in wort i think but this seems to have the best draw). Also big beaters like Knollspine Dragon and Dragon Mage can draw you an insane number of cards on top of dealing damage.
Another option would be copy cards like reverberate. I think people really underestimate them. They are your card draw, your second laser, your counterspell and so much more. The versatility is insane.
I'll have to keep other draw in mind, I just don't like the idea of Commune with Lava - I don't want to spend mana on things I now only have a small window to spend mana on. Though other wheels might be a good idea. The last few games have been treating Wort better, though I did aim to improve the draw by using recursion with this week's update. Here are the changes:[
I think I went too far away from Spot Removal. I've even made a point to add spot removal to my decks as fielding interaction has always been a weakness of mine. I like building decks that I think will do great, but never plan for what my opponent will do. Removal will give me outs and hence the return of Hull Breach. I also realized that a lot of my spells are Green, so having the Saprolings from Artifact Mutation would be great to Conspire future spells. It's also not something bad to use due to Artifacts being the most common type that causes problems.
Seasons Past and Recollect are in the deck to pseudo-draw, Recursion can be very powerful. Recollect over Regrowth because it's less expensive. I think I'd want Regrowth as well. Another card I'm thinking of adding is Explore, but I don't know which piece of Ramp to cut. On one hand, I like the thinning some of them do with the Ramp but it's just Lands. Explore means I can put more lands into play and draw cards. The other card I'm thinking of using is Neheb, The Eternal because I do random pings first main, sometimes swing in combat and that leads to a lot of mana. Also, Conspire lets me tap him the turn him comes into play.
Fyndhorn and Llanowar got the axe because of my dislike of dorks in a multiplayer format. Chirurgeon gets the axe because I realized half of the time I don't mind in Wort dies: that's another card and more bodies. Fanning the Flames got the axe because I frequently saw it as a 3RRX spell, which made me do stupid things i I'm desperate. At least, that's how I'll justify cutting a 2 CMC for Seasons Past's 6.
Revel can be forked and the tokens are Red/Green for Conspire. That's a pretty good reason to keep Revel but it fails the 6+ CMC test of "If left uncontested, can this win me the game?" Avenger definitely says yes. It makes more bodies for Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors; ramp is a main strategy of the deck so the plants will grow large and because of the number of plants, I can see this closing out the game - unlike 4 or 8 2/2s.
Acidic Slime is great card, hitting a lot of permanents and then comes down with Deathtouch. In this deck, I feel like Bramblecrush does a better job. It costs one less and can be Conspired to hit more targets, plus it can hit any Noncreature Permanent that might cause a problem, such as Planeswalkers.
I'm running the same commander as you and looking to update my deck as mine doesn't seem to be very competitive. I am liking a lot of what I see in this deck. Think I am going to steal some of the ideas.
Cards I enjoyed my deck, which may suit you well are Five-Alarm Fire and Manamorphose But the last one might set over the budget.
With so many of my other decks not being 99, I did a count of this and found that it was 101. With another case of Math is Hard, I made a cut plus a few changes:
Burgeoning just attracts too much attention and doesn't keep up with the board because I lack draw. With draw lacking, and my desire to improve the consistency of this deck, I decided to follow the sage wisdom of "add more draw" with Tireless Tracker.
Mana Geyser replaces Zhur-Thaa Druid as I really like the explosive nature of the amount of mana it could make.
A lot of people have been praising Reverberate as a second burn spell, or a counterspell or just flat out spell theft (such as stealing a Decree of Pain from out of the control player). With that in mind, I decided to cut Price of Progress. It is too wildly inconsistent for me to get a good peg on how much damage it will do in a match. Against some players, it's 20 damage and others its 2. I'll go with something more consistent in its utility than straight up burn. Also, it moves me completely away from my Nonbasic Hate plan, which means I can use Nonbasics myself. I won't use too many as I do have an Early Harvest.
I've come to the realization that this is a combo deck and while it isn't in the traditional 'put two things together to win', I still need to sprint as fast as I can to my wincons. With that in mind, I made this change:
I don't have time to get the rewards of Rites, nor give my opponents more draws or ramp. Sylvan quickly gets the cards I need and I can see using the effect a lot to get my deck to go off before my opponents kill me.
Regrowth is strictly superior to Recollect, after that, I had to make some tough changes.
I decided that the added mana is far worth it than Gutter Snipe's Group Shock. The Shock is nice for lowering my opponent's life totals, but the Cobra's mana gain means I can play Wort faster and can make some of my Conspired spells effectively free. If I Conspire any 2 drop Ramp, it'll fetch two Lands and the only resource I'm down is Conspire Bodies but I've advanced my late game.
Primal Growth puts two lands into play, which is great because I can pay the costs in any order, so I can Conspire Growth and then Kick it with one of the Conspired Bodies. Cultivate got the axe because I saw it before Kodama's Reach, every other 3 drop ramp has the possibility of thinning and ramping more cards.
Seasons Past is great but expensive. I'm looking for alternatives with Nostalgic Dreams, but haven't got my hands on it yet. With the amount of mana my Early Harvest makes, I wanted more effects like that and Rude Awakening takes the cake. It even gives me the possibility of swinging with my lands for the last few points of damage.
I have not had that much success with Tempt with Vengeance, it's too narrow in just making bodies, so I cut it when I added more mana and combo potential with Paradox Engine with Cryptolith Rite. There are times when I have lots of bodies but not enough mana to do what I need to do, this should help with those wins.
