Hey gang! Long time reader but haven't posted in a minute. Go ahead and check out my deck, I'd love to hear your thoughts/feedback, if you like this style it or not.
Its aimed as a beatdown version of Thrasios and Tymna, with a lot of interaction, and capable of taking down 3 players with combat damage, through disruption. Versus a cEDH deck, I've only played against a Breya deck. Nearly every player in my new meta is casual (yay! I love my K&T deck too becuase its nothing like this monstrosity lol), but I've yet to lose versus Breya. I wouldn't know how I'd stand up to other cEDH decks, but I feel like it'd do pretty well.
I'm thinking, if enough people like the idea, but not have $1,000 laying around to build it, I could maybe make a budget or semi-budget version. Its a shame all these expensive cards were just in my collection over the years that weren't expensive when I acquired them, so I'd like some help with exploring that.
Maybe a primer too, seriously, I think Tymna+Thrasios makes for a great aggro-control build around commander. They curve out great and allow for untold number of shenanigans. "Hell, on mtgo I have a dragon tribal deck with these two (let that sink in) just for funsies and the Ophidian effect on turn 3 is really, really consistent against most casual room decks, the extra draw or two really help smooth mana for big dumb dragons."
Technically Umbral Mantle does allow the deck to unbound mana, but I could swap with Nim Deathmantle and lose the infinite combo, but gain a better voltron piece. I'd honestly rather not run the infinite combo in any current meta, but even the casual decks I play against have at least an infinite combo in them. So, fair's fair, right?
