So Kari Zev, Skyship Raider is upon us, and like any good pirate, it here to take your stuff for her own collection. Whether it be taking it for a long time, or simply cashing it in for value, everyone's board is fair game for the pirate queen!
Simple enough. More often than not, your opponents will have something worth having. Either cash it (Altar, Vault, etc), beat down with it, or keep it (Helm). But sometimes they have too much stuff to take. Luckily we have the second rule of piracy: if you can't have it, no one can. Nuke the board.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
Now, if I was making a mono-R pirate deck, the one creature I'd be sure to include is Bazaar Trader. Steal their things, then gift it to yourself for the rest of the game, not just a turn. Orcish Squatters is a weak but fun card to use in this strategy too (not a Trader card, but Conquering someones Cabal Coffers is dope). Aladdin is also slow, but cool.

While I know the mechanical theme of the deck is taking other people's stuff, I was thinking putting in cards that grant flying is a both flavorful and practical (because of the Earthquake cards you run) for the deck.

I don't want to run the risk of having too many sac outlets and not enough fuel. Phyrexian isn't needed because the deck is mono-color, so getting a sac for a color isn't as vital as getting the 2 from Ashnod's. Valakut might be good, as might Mirrorpool. Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm using Onslaught because none of my creatures have vigilance, and should be swinging as much as possible. As a result, Onslaught functions similarly for one less mana.

The only card I can think of to eject for it is Staff of Nin. Think the loss in potential CA is worth the change?
Given that by the time you're casting the Staff, you can freely cast most any other card draw engine you have, I would say yes. Plus, I forgot the other ETB effects you have with your own critters, which makes the Closet even more versatile. So, yes x 2.

There is one more land you should consider for this deck especially since it is mono-colored. Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx Should probably get you on average 6 red mana for 2 colorless.

"I hope to have such a death... lying in triumph atop the broken bodies of those who slew me..."
I love the Bazaar Trader interaction. I completely forgot it works like that.
I can probably find room for Squatters as well. And yes, Kara's Expertise will replace Traitorous Blood (even if I love the flavor text)
Custody Battle was a last second cut to keep the deck trimmed.
Thanks for your suggestions.
"I hope to have such a death... lying in triumph atop the broken bodies of those who slew me..."
I went with Mob Rule over Insurrection since a lot of the time it will function similarly for two less mana (and $8 cheaper). Same reason why Wheel of Fate is in the list over Wheel of Fortune.

Too bad The Dragon's Smile isn't a Legendary Vehicle, but you could consider:
Soratami Cloud Chariot
Predator, Flagship
If targeted flying seems to limited, the more efficient (but less flavorful) cards that can be considered:
Akroma's Memorial
Eldrazi Monument
Homura, Human Ascendant
Akroma's Memorial actually nombos with a couple cards I use (Bazaar Trader, Chandra's Ignition, etc)
I would use Homura, but finding a spot for him in the list is tough at the moment.

Also, Sisay's Ring should go to Thran Dynamo. 100% upgrade.
