Maybe drop Vraska for skittles then? I feel like he may have more of an impact most games than she will. Ya I need to actually sit down and play the deck been busy the past few days so I haven't gotten much testing done. I dropped fellwar stone for lantern since it's far more consistent at color production. Narset is pretty good and she provides decent card advantage, nothing crazy but that ult is just back breaking.
Vraska has been a favorite for me. I blow up stuff constantly as she is an answer for everything. Great Brago target as well for double hits.
But is she a 5 mana answer for one nonland thing or does she actually hit multiple things without the help of Brago? If it is most often the former, then she is bad straight up. Might as well play Maelstrom Pulse and Snapcaster Mage.
Ya after reevaluating her ahe's not really worth the slot. Her ult is gimmicky and requires a full turn before you can get any pay out from it. Not to mention Brago is close to getting cut as is.
Well that is our split then, which is good for testing differences slightly.
I love brago. If I was to change it; I would run Obama (Grand Arberter, augistine the IV).
Made quite a few changes this morning. Dropped brago, vraska, witness, prism, muddle, idyllic tutor and grafdigger. Added lantern, counterspell, three visits, tithe, scavenging ooze, skittles and top.
I think this deck could really use Zur's Weirding
You gain life off your general so it's real easy to deny people the draws they need to play.
Plus a board state where you have 1 or 2 walkers and Weirding is insane as now you can activate them multiple turns without fear.
Also after a land wipe you can prevent people from drawing lands. I highly recommend it
Land Equilibrium is also sweet after a land wipe. You have a good amount of rocks so paying for spells shouldn't be an issue and now you can just not play lands so opponents can't catch up

Hey guys so I've actually moved on from commander on to 60 card decks so I don't have any commander decks.
Anyway I've started my own gameplay channel in which I play games (Magic also)
If I had to pull vraska, I would throw Skittles in her spot.
The new Plainswalkers suck for this deck. Not enough power to matter.
Snapcaster mage and Malestrom pulse are not as repeatable for how many times Brago flips vraska for destroy overturn. Same for karn.
I love opponents get pissed when your drop the combo of lock out with everyone have infect and proliferate every turn.
Atraxa+Tangle wire+static orb+infect somehow+orb of dreams=
Can't Zurs Weirding backfire though? Land Equilibrium looks solid! Need to get more pieces though before that.
How has Teferi been looking for you? I never draw him or look form him in Tutors. I would mainly use him for draw or sometimes uncap 4 lands. 6 mana seems high for just that.
I need to get the other Tamiyo.
Is Reap a dead card without an opponent running black? Uborg does help, but its dead without it. Risky dead card?
Teferi is probably the best form of parity breaking in the deck. There is no way I'm pulling him. He provides solid card advantage and lets us untap through stasis that alone is enough to warrant keeping him around.
EDIT: Just saw I missed half of your comment. Reap was a meta decision and will likely end up coming down to whether or not you see a lot of black where you play. Also quick clarification reap only cares about black permanents not swamps, lands are colorless.
Cursed Totem is still worth running. It shuts down a few dorks and scavenging ooze which will usually be just fine. Linvala is a bit more expensive both mana wise and money wise, which is why I don't have a copy of her. If you can afford it run her over the totem.
I do have Linvala from previously decks and love her one sided work.
After careful play, I cut vraska as you guys were right, she was not pulling enough weight. Was winning anyway without her. Skittles took her spot. Kicked deathrite for scooze.
See your point on teferi. I just never play him or the opportunity is not there. I like ewitness over reap as I abuse it with venser.
Linvala is phenomenal and honestly if I had a copy I wouldn't bother running totem.
Cool, I'm considering dropping Deathrite as well, just wanna give it a few more games before I make the decision.
Teferi is just so good. Even if he's not a big tutor target, which makes sense since he doesn't actually establish a lock which should be the priority of the deck. I was never in a situation where I had both and if I did manage to pull it off I didn't require any recursion at that point either because the game was essentially over or I just dominated and had nothing important get removed. She's still a great card and if you can make it work by all means go with what works in your meta.
I want JTMS. I don't think pulling either of the Tamiyo's for him is worth it though. If anything maybe Ugin, he's expensive and while his ult is pretty great it's not necessarily game ending which is what we're going for with our walkers. Actually, once I get a copy of JTMS I think that's exactly what I'll do. Karn doesn't really have a great ult but at least he's got some strong removal.
Ugin is one of my favorites though. Burn, mass removal, and the ultimate is amazing. I don't have tamiyo old version yet and JTMS is in her place. Bouncing creatures for free is sweet with atraxa.
His ultimate has only been used once, during lockout. Otherwise it's bounce and draw for extra control for tangle wire.
Thoughts on yavimaya hollow ? Atraxa stays alive longer. It's colorless, I know, but the bonus using the death touch to kill big stuff is controlling.
True, but he's expensive and what he offers can be had with other cheaper cards, minus his ult. Ya JTMS is also good for keeping opponents off of lands, ramp, removal, etc. depending on the boardstate. Plus free brainstorm and his ult is just dumb.
Hollow seems too narrow here. She's already a 4/4 with deathtouch. Very few creatures are going to be bigger than her and if they are they'll usually either end up removed, tapped down or mitigated in some other way.
What would you guys call the ideal mana base for this? I'm thinking the 6 original duals, 6 shocks, 10 fetches, Wasteland, Strip Mine, Ghost Quarter, 5 basics (2F, 1P, 1B, 1U), Prairie Stream, Sunken Hollow, Canopy Vista, Command Tower, Reflecting Pool, Mirrodin's Core, Urborg, Dreadship Reef
Original duels will have to wait for me. I have all the shocks, fetches, checks, filters, pains, and other good lands. No problems so far minus random variable pains.
I like my mana base a lot: 6x ABU duals, 6x Shocks, 10x Fetches, 5 basics (1 of each, with an additional forest), Command tower, Mana Confluence, City of Brass, Reflecting Pool, Urborg (due to Necropotence), Inkmoth nexus, Strip Mine for 34 lands.
As an aside, I am really digging our collective decklists: it is finally looking like something decently scary while still feeling like something that could only be done with Atraxa at the helm (I find a lot of competitive decklists tend to look the same). So bravo there!
For the record, Nature's Lore is the exact same card as Three Visits. Much cheaper too. Only reason I run 3 visits is because I picked one up ages ago when I was running both in a deck. I also kinda prefer Farseek to Tithe. Yea it costs one more, but it has more targets and goes directly into play (so it is actual ramp, not just fixing).
Thanks, this why we (well, you guys rock). Will pick one today. Much cheaper....
Academy ruins has been the bomb mentally. When it hits the field, opponents think twice about destroying stuff. They should anyway but missplay in giving me time to assemble the lock.
Multiplayer Decks- Memnarch - Animar, Soul of Elements - Zur, the Enchanter - Atraxa, Praetors' Voice - Food Chain Tazri - Teysa Karlov

I really want land equilibrium it's just a tad expensive at the moment. I do want to add ravages of war as well for some extra MLD.

I still have 4 pieces to attain, and three visits is expensive. I may run Sylvan Scrying instead. Tithe is not bad, and I can get that easy.
