Yeah, my first thought was tapping down orbs. The two clause doesn't seem awful since in some cases we just need an extra rock left up to play thru the orbs, so it ends up paying off. The fact that it can be a combo piece/dork removal is awesome.
Hangarback seems good in stax since it can tick up slowly if you don't need to get thopters and when you do you can pop it for tons. My friend runs it in his Breya deck and it's been very good

He's extra tutorable which is great. I doubt you'd end up running much of them, but those who may find it powerful in their meta have access to tons of ways. I forget its name, but that transmute land is a pretty great one, specific lands arent too big here, but in I'd understand it being relevant in a build so I figured I'd mention

Anyway I've started my own gameplay channel in which I play games (Magic also)
so after a few change this is my decklist as of now.
Finally got a wheel of fortune, volcanic island and a proxy underground seas.
Removed cataclysm as saccing our artifacts isn't a good play if there isn't any left, testing out Aether grid, it's good when its good but meh when the orbs are not in play, still testing it thou.
List looks super solid. There are some changes on there that I'll be doing shortly.
Here's what I'm thinking.
1. Eldrazi Displacer has been solid even without Ironworks but not sure if he will stay. I need to add Deathmantle regardless on if I keep him or not.
2. Ironworks is insane.
3. I think I have too many counters. I am likely cutting Negate and Red blast. Force, drain, swan song, counterspell, and arcane denial all seem far better than those and lowering down to 5 for now seems right.
4. Chandra is getting cut. I like her but she's not quite good enough and the games where shes ults I am likely gonna win anyway. Shame because the card is so cool.
So I'm adding Deathmantle, Spellskite, and aether grid.
I picked those because it's a combo piece and spellskite and Grid seem insane in here.
The next cards I want to add are Lightning greaves, Swords to plowshares, and Devastation but I think the three changes I listed are a good start for now and if I need to add more counters later I can totally do that.

I feel like it's going to cause me to overextend myself when mana is already not perfect in 3 colors. We've got a similar idea of decks we like and our ideas tend to be compatible, what are your thoughts on running 4 colors?
Nah I skipped those and jokulahups since they hurt artifacts.
I think ward of bones is better than engine here. It's a little more but gives no leeway.

I've had little issue with 4 color because the deck is mostly blue plus a few other cards. Using fetch lands to get an early scrubland or plateau often will give you the red and white you need for the whole game. And with so many rocks like.relic and opal I haven't had trouble casting Breya often.
If it's a concern I do think chromatic lantern is good in here as well. Just keep the non blue spells low in color cost. That's part of the reason I cut necro here

Fair enough. I am just looking at in in retrospect and saying "what's the cost benefit of playing Gamble or Wheel of Fortune when I'm not playing Mystical Tutor or Windfall already"? Lots of folks are trying to break the dedicated combo version of Breya, much like this deck I'm trying to get to the grinder, more control version and I'm not certain that I'm getting the Red Matters cost/benefit. I've got all the fetches and ABUR lands to make it work.
They're decent but unless they're super powerful I don't want too many lands that make colorless.
Uba mask and thief already work super well with the wheels anyway.

The first difference between oloro stax which i played too, its that red gives tons of recursion options for artifacts, in oloro we had only replenish that is a 1 sided recursion not counting open the vaults as your opponents could get back stuff too.
However with artifacts, we had tons of options compared to enchantments.
The second difference is that in oloro we run a mix of artifacts and enchantments, both stax and ramp artifacts, kinda like a split in focus of the deck. However in breya, you are solely focusing on artifacts and you can actually use unwanted artifacts to do stuff like killing a creature with -4/-4, gain some life and bolt something. Compared to oloro who is ehhh just sitting there? =P
The third difference is commander synergy, breya well is one of the best artifact commanders around with so much synergy build into her whereas oloro is ehhh none?
As @Dies_to_Doom_Blade said, the deck major colour is still blue with a light splash of the other colours (B > or = W>R), you just needa build the manabase correctly and your fine with all that artifact ramp and color fixing.

Seems solid as another token producer, and abusable with Welder, Displacer, Master Transmuter, and Clock of Omens, among others XDDD
Also makes Time of Sieve more of a possibility? I like Battleball over Blightsteel currently but that's just me.

I cut time sieve because it didn't really do anything by itself and was often a win more

What do you guys think about adding another combo or converting it?
Lions Eye Diamond + Salavgers can be done faster but the main reason I'm hesistant is that I have far less ways to get Salavagers with tutors and only Timetwister will bring it back to my deck if it's in the yard.
I do want to test it out next and see if I want both combos or just the one and if it's better than what I have.
With Lions Eye Diamond possibly entering then I would want to add Yawgmoth's will as well.
And naturally Devastation because it's sweet.
I'm thinking that cuts woult include Voltaic key (Too cute?) and Tezzeret, Agent of bolas (Worst walker in here)
I'm also debating on if I need Displacer in here if I have deathmantle but I've actually liked him a fair bit even without combo

Edit: don't you want something like Geier Reach Sanitarium or Mikokoro, Center of the Sea to mill opponents out with Uba Mask?

I still love Purphoros, God of the Forge since I can get value it off Breya even without the loop.
I feel that Kuldotha Forgemaster seems underwhelming without blightsteel, any suggestions for a replacement or it should continune to remain in here?
