Long story short, I took apart a Kozilek deck the other day - my meta has unequivocally said they do not enjoy playing against it. Which is fair, I've made similar complaints and the offending decks have been taken apart. So sydri got some new goodies to play with. As always, if there are cards I should add to these, or feedback on the adds or deck as it stands, feel free to speak up.
Teferi is now slightly redundant with Orrery in, Lantern comes in to fix colour, Sol Ring I had a spare of. Tempered Steel was win more and unnecessary, LDV will be more to help smooth draw than anything, as draw itself I don't really have issues with.
I don't have a spare copy of Master Transmuter. I'd love it to be in here, that card is sick. Sphinx Summoner I'm not a fan of for a couple of reasons - colour fixing and non repeatable ability (well, without bouncing anyway). I generate enough tokens that Kuldotha Forgemaster can grab me whatever I need, and Rings of Brighthearth can double that happening. Come to think of it, so can Muzzio, Visionary Architect. He's honestly great whenever I play him, 9/10 he turns up a Darksteel Forge.
Silent Arbiter is not a bad idea to be honest, and I have a spare copy. Caltrops I don't, unfortunately.
Trinket Mage I get, but there's not a lot of targets for him here. Sol Ring of course, but the only other target I have is Voltaic Key which is by no means crucial, as I have redundancy with Clock of Omens and Unwinding Clock. Having said this, your targets for Trinket Mage are solid. I have a spare Nihil Spellbomb and the capsules, they could see a space.
It is still active, although because the list is pretty stable it hasn't seen changes for a while - I haven't updated since before Hour of Devastation/Ixalan. I'm happy to have a look and give you some feedback if you like. What sort of area are you looking to go into? Sydri can combo pretty easy, do bleeder/lifegain styles, midrange, aggro...makes a difference what suggestions I'd make.
I used to play UB Tezzeret in Legacy, so at first I wanted to try and emulate that deck as much as possible. EDIT: specifically I’m looking at playing all of the Tezzerets and the Thopter/Sword combo. Unfortunately this format makes me splash white. I also recognize that artifacts are incredibly easy to remove in this format, hence all the protection spells like Karmic Justice and Cloud Cover.
In: Weatherlight - this should be decent draw fixing. Sage of Lat-Nam - not sure about him, but willing to try. Once a turn cycle is ok, but I'll have the tokens to spare so I'm not fussed. The Antiquities War - Draw fixing and an army boost, this should do good work. Isolated Chapel
Yeah Raff would be great here. I’m hesitant to go all in on sagas just yet - I’ve yet to draw one for testing thus far. Theoretically they’re decent in the right place but timing will be key with them, and I have nothing here to manipulate the counters. Once I’ve figured out how they interact and how other players interact with them I might go a little further.
In the meantime the biggest problem I have with this deck is consistency - I played two games over the weekend; the first I hit a stunningly good start, had a raft or rocks in play and about 12 mana available by T3 with a strong hand. The next game I stalled out with 3 land in play, color screwed and mana screwed. This deck doesn’t have NO options if that happens but it doesn’t have a lot to balance that out. It’s frustrating, because once it gets going it’s an advantage machine. I’m just not sure how to make things more consistent.
Out: Silent Arbiter Faith's Reward
These both have just tended to sit in my hand - obviously FR is that sort of card (until you need it), but SA has always been a little dead in my hand.
Sphinx of the Steel Wind leaves for Thran Dynamo. End of the day, it's a big beater, which this deck can only get so much use from. Rocks are generally more useful here, even if coloured mana is more helpful.
In:
Clever Impersonator - obvious include
Rings of Brighthearth - Plenty of use for it here
Kuldotha Forgemaster - Likewise
Semblance Anvil - This is a maybe. Imprint is not ideal, and this may or may not be necessary
Mirrorworks - This should be lots of fun
Thran Dynamo - Great for Sydri, great for mana
Duplicant - No reason not to include
Vedalken Orrery - Outclasses Shimmer Myr in every way
All is Dust - Not entirely sure about it, but should be a game winner in the right circumstances
Mirrorweave - Could be a lot of fun, not sure if it will earn its place or not
Out:
Shimmer Myr - See above
Junk Diver - Redundant card with Sharuum, Myr Retriever and Beacon in the deck
Mind Stone - Don't like having to sac for the draw, and colourless mana is only so good here
Synod Artificer - Redundant in the deck
Hedron Archive - As with mind stone, sort of outclassed by Thran Dynamo
Jalira, Master Polymorphist - Outclassed by Kuldotha Forgemaster
Enigma Sphinx - Never has the hitting power you hope for with it
Darksteel Ingot - May come in again, honestly
Prototype Portal - Outclassed by Mirrorworks
Marionette Master - Not as strong as I'd like it to be

In:
Well of Lost Dreams - Sydri staple that no longer fits well in with Edgar Markov, this'll be great.
Out:
Thran Dynamo - Big mana is less important here than colour fixing, so it's better used elsewhere.

There are a lot of ways to abuse the relic here, so it's likely to generate obscene amounts of mana. FoF is very good, but this is a better choice.

Out:
Mimic Vat - better used elsewhere it turns out.
Myrsmith - Too expensive even at 1.
Inkwell Leviathan - it's huge, but that's it.
Swamp.
Fairly happy here - I also pulled a Mox Amber which may make the cut here, but for now trying it elsewhere.
Raff Capashen, Ship's Mage seems good too, another Shimmer Myr effect, if you're into that sort of thing.
