Okay, so I've been trying to break Spy Kit for the longest while now. And, there aren't enough vehicles yet to make a vehicle-centered commander deck. So, I decided to mash up these ideas that I've had of wiping the board to abuse the vehicles not really being creatures until they're crewed. However, the ideas I have with Spy Kit is to recover those creatures from the deck. Also, the creatures that die from the wraths spit out tokens upon dying. That way their deaths will drive the vehicles into my opponents' faces.

Here's the deck:


It's still a rough draft (and will clearly be updated when Aether Revolt arrives in January). The reason I chose Karametra is because she's indestructible and is of the colors I want for the deck: GW has plenty of creatures that create tokens when dying and also provides plenty of wrath spells and recovery abilities.

So far, the aim of the deck is to ramp with the creatures that appear unassuming at first. Until I play some vehicles and then start wrathing the board. The remaining tokens can then crew the vehicles to smash face. I'm still on the fence as to add some cards that will boost these vehicles once they become creatures, such as anthem effects or True Conviction, etc.

The way I recover creatures is via Remembrance, Mistveil Plains, and some knowledge of how the stack works. When a creature dies and goes to the graveyard, Remembrance triggers. In response, send that creature to the bottom of your library with Mistveil Plains. Remembrance's trigger resolves and you get your creature back into your hand. If this seems janky, combine it with Spy Kit for some ultimate jank. If the creature that dies had Spy Kit equipped, you can search your deck for any nonlegendary creature thanks to Remembrance. These 3 cards may seem like they're taking up 3 slots in the deck, but with so much wrathing and mayhem, if they're online, they can potentially net you any creature from your deck.

There are some cards that I'd like to test out too like Praetor's Counsel (instead of Elixir of Immortality) and creatures that ramp for when I don't have Karametra in play yet. But so far, the deck has been fun in the solitaire games I've been playing to get a feel for it. I'll test it against others in Cockatrice soon enough to see how it fairs.

The deck can be a bit slow at times (since I run no ramp, mana dorks, or mana rocks) so I made a couple of changes:

Skyship Weatherlight seems like it would be flavorful and on theme for this type of deck. As far as ramp goes, why not add some of the typical green creatures that do so? Ex. Sakura-Tribe Elder, Farhaven Elf etc. An anthem or two would definitely be beneficial as it can help you close out games such as Cathars' Crusade or Akroma's Memorial. A really good closer that you may want to consider is Storm Herd. Your life total will be relatively high since you are wiping constantly so you will get a ton of tokens.

Are you planning to go for 1 shot kills or just get value over time? Some haste enablers would be nice here such as Concordant Crossroads.

Really like the theme of this deck, will keep watch to see how this list develops.

Cathars' Crusade and Akroma's Memorial are great suggestions; I will definitely have to find some space for them. Inventors' Fair is also a great card to include. It can help me get Akroma's Memorial.

I'm still waiting to see which vehicles become available in Aether Revolt because I'm just including them all without any kind of distinction. But maybe with more variety I can discern which ones and how many I will ultimately include in the deck.

100% going into the deck! This is a great way to be able to "animate" vehicles if I don't have enough creatures to crew them.

Paradox Engine seems great for the deck because I can tap to crew and then cast something to untap said "crew" and be able to either alpha strike or have blockers after the vehicles go on the offensive.

Here's the latest version of the deck. I'm still trying to get the concept down of wrathing the board but having it be one-sided while using vehicles and tokens as the means of making the wraths one-sided.

I'm looking to add in Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist to the deck. I can use her for an all-out alpha strike or use her to crew a vehicle. If she's driving a vehicle, she'll be tapped. Meaning that only one creature can attack me each combat. She can do so much in the deck that I need to find space for her.
