This is a deck featuring the new partner commanders Tana en Tymna. I wanted to build this deck because I was tired of my Ghave deck and was intrigued by the synergy of these two ladies. Furthermore, the addition of a splash of red gave the deck some reach with Vicious Shadows and Purphoros. I hope to get some nice tips to improve this deck..
I was thinking I might need to add some form of protection for my commanders and haste is probably usefull as well to get the most out of my commanders when I cast them. I might have to find room for Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots. Bastion Protector might also be a good addition. Besides some wrath protection she boosts Tymna for a lil more lifegain and Tana for more tokens!

I already had City of Brass and I feel the mana base is pretty good right now. Would love original duals but they cost too much!
I added both Greaves and Boots for haste and protection for the commanders and added Enlightened Tutor to be able to fetch them or a nice enchantment (good for late game as well). I dont know what to cut for Idyllic tutor but also feel I might have enough with Vampiric, Demonic, Enlightened and Sterling Grove. I was thinking about Academy Rector too though.
I cut some of the echantments Fecundity because it benefits opponents too, Deathreap Ritual because it is a bit expensive, might be redundant mext to Tymna and the deck is not really geared to saccing every turn. Lastly I cut Black market because I can't maximlly profit from it because I dont have that many mana sinks.
I played the deck in some kitchen table games this weekend and it worked pretty well. In 5-player games there was often an open opponent that I could attack for some value with either Tymna or Tana. The deck did not run out of gass easily. I did not get to draw 3+ cards though as the commanders are pretty fragile and don't get around blockers very well.

I don't feel Behind the Scenes is strong enough for its cost. Whip seems ok I guess, but it's not really an effect I'm looking for in this deck because it exiles. Maybe Alesha, Who Smiles at Death to bring back all of my power 2 of les creatures (including the commanders)? Craterhoof Behemoth is good, but it's also quite expensive budget-wise. I won't include Earthcraft for the same reason (and because it isn't a combo deck, just untapping some lands doesn't seem worth tapping my attackers).
Extra ramp didn't seem necessary in the games I played. At least the creatures provide a body to attack with to draw some cards. A late game farseek seems usuless for this deck, while I'm trying to add more Wincons.

Alesha unfortunately cannot ressurect your commanders, they go to the command zone before she could ressurect them.
But yes, she would be fantastic for your deck as a part fo the 99.
im pretty sure putting commanders back into the commander zone is your choice. if they Die you can place them into the GY if you want. same thing with exile (dont know why you would want to), your hand and your deck. So if they get really high mana cost latter in the game you can choose to place them in the GY and rez/get back into your hand to get around the commander pay

Yeah, you can choose to let them go to the graveyard. Which is useful if you have a Reveillark or Alesha, Who Smiles at Death, although it's a bit risky. If you can't revive them you have to exile them from the grave to get them back in the command zone. But if they are cmc8+ with commanders tax ill take that risk most of the time.

I feel I have too many lands so I will cut off-color fetches Polluted Delta and Flooded Strand . I will also cut Anfenza, the Foremost , Ravos, Soultender and Stonehoof Chieftan.
I will add some cards that help my commanders and creatures deal damage to opponents more easily. I'm thinking more P/T buffers and trample.

Run Bastion Protector and Enlightened Tutor.
Fetch for Spectra Ward, enchant the Bastion Protector
Now your commanders are practically always indestructible, although they can get rid of the protector through colorless removal...
If you want a real irritating thing, run Behind the Scenes along with Iroas (which you do)

A MUST, is Earthcraft. As well as maybe a Glare of Subdual to help you connect.
