Aether Flash is a fine Narset deterrent, if that is a factor. Last Laugh DOES blow up in my face often, but is still fun, so your premonitions there are on point.
I picked up a Smoke recently and am currently reworking my Mogis. Hmmm...
Cheers!
Narset is not an issue in my meta, no one runs her. But that is good tech if she does become a problem.
Oh man, Pox seems sweet. Just so much potential to make people upset. I'm not running Stranglehold because I was having trouble finding a copy for a decent price when I made the deck and I just kind of forgot to add it in. Even now the price of the card doesn't seem worth the effect.
Yeeeahh do it! The deck is super fun to play! Punish em
I revamped heavily, using your no creature model as a base. The biggest difference is that Mogis is now in the 99, and Vial Smasher is the commander.
I have yet to play it since the revamp.
Cheers!
Hmm. Vial Smasher the Fierce seems like an interesting choice. The ability looks good with running high mana-cost enchantments, but I can't say I really enjoy the randomness I feel like it could backfire on you. Do you have a decklist I could take a glance at?
Oh man, Ixalan has a couple cards that I would love to try out. Vance's Blasting Cannons is just going to be Outpost Siege Vol.2 Revel in Riches seems like a great way to win the game by dropping it and wiping the board
I'm not sure Sunbird's Invocation is where I want to be but I'll keep an eye on it.
Forbidden Orchard is nice to force creatures on creature light opponents for Reprecussion as well as be great mana fixing. Since you do have reprecussion in the deck why not have Star of Extinction in there as well?
I always had an eye on Mogis.
I just have two questions:
- With all the punish effects don't you draw the hate of the whole table?
- What are your wincons? Commander damage?
Sulfuric Vortex - must have. The first step to killing your opponents with gradual damage is to make sure they don't heal their life back up. Second in line might be Everlasting Torment to make your Pestilence better and help pressure life totals. Speaking of which, Pyrohemia.
Also surprised by your lack of Necropotence, easily the most powerful card engine in the format. Blood Moon? Somewhat affordable. The new Blood Sun also seems very interesting. Stranglehold, as mentioned. Tainted AEther is also very powerful.

I do tend to draw a lot of hate in the mid to late game. I have to be careful with when I deploy my really back breaking threats, I'm usually able to survive until I can really end the game with big enchantments. Obliterate is one of my big win cons in combination with something like Price of Knowledge, I do win with commander damage on occasion.
I'm just going to make a list here to respond to your ideas Sulfuric Vortex is a card that would attract even more hate in the early game than I already do. Also I sometimes need the lifegain myself. Pyrohemia That card jumped recently and I'mm not buying its inflated price Necropotence Eh, never liked the card and people become afraid of it super easily and target you Blood Moon Moon kind of wrecks me also as I run a lot of nonbasics and have a lot of heavvy black, maybe If I fiddle with my mana base Blood Sun does seem pretty good Tainted AEther I've been considering this one for sure

Suggested cuts:
Chandra, Pyromaster - creatures attacking your Vance's Blasting Cannons is pretty uncool.
Baneful Omen - cute, but way too expensive for its effect. It doesn't even give you the card.
Mudslide - I think it's not good enough creature control.
Underworld Connections - change to Necropotence.
Curse of Bloodletting - this basically makes one of your opponents lock onto you, which is not what you want. You want to stay low and whittle them down. If you are looking for that effect, Sorin Markov does it much better.
Night of Souls' Betrayal - better as Pyrohemia.
Consume the Meek - you don't really have a problem killing small creatures.
More suggestions:
Chains of Mephistopheles/The Abyss/Nether Void - if only, if only...
Daxos's Torment/Rite of the Raging Storm - interesting ways for you to get board presence and pressure life totals.
Rain of Gore/Tainted Remedy - pure life pressure.
Subversion/Retreat to Hagra - life-drain.
War's Toll/Price of Glory - anti-control.
Ghostly Flame is a REALLY weird card but can be hugely helpful versus pro-black-and-red.
