MTG Salvation

First of all, the deck!



So it has been quite a while since I've come back to Magic and this deck is my first attempt back and with a BANT superfriends deck! I figured Angus Mackenzie would be board control until I can get some walkers out. There's no real overbearing cards and not a lot of hate for things, I wanted to stay away from the typical creature hate that I went through with other superfriends decks and try for more fair ways to control creatures.I tried to stay away from too many tutors, sticking to ramp and Call the Gatewatch. I'm trying to stay away from cards that will paint a large target on me like Humility, or Stax effects.

Reflector Mage and Thought-Knot Seer are the main blink targets, getting Tangle or Fog onto Isochron Scepter is also another goal.

Finishers:

• Hornet Queen
  
• Emrakul, the Promised End
  
• Elspeth, Sun's Champion
  
• Entreat the Angels
  

These are late game finishers, there is no real way to win midgame or early, which was also a goal.

Planeswalkers being considered:

• Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
  
• Karn Liberated

Creatures being considered:
Manic Scribe

If you're running a Planeswalker deck you are going to want a Doubling Season. Important thing to note is while it does initially put double the counters on the card, activating abilities for the card will not allow you to double dip as the loyalty counters are the cost to activate the ability not part of the ability itself. In addition, is there a reason you're not running Ajani, Mentor of Heroes. He does like everything that this deck wants to do. Finally, I would throw a Ghostly Prison into the mix for your deck, especially since they're decently reasonable in price if you want the Conspiracy 2 printing.
