This deck doesn't really have a theme behind it. It is really just a Goodstuff type of deck to play around with reanimator effects and mana ramp with Gauntlet of Power, Caged Sun, Crypt Ghast, and Nirkana Revenant. This deck was built when I wanted to have 1 deck of each color and it survived when I took a few decks apart.
Because this deck doesn't really have a theme, I am open to any suggestions for card changes. Most of the cards included are self-explanatory as they are usually good cards on their own.
I don't typically attack with my General due to his ability but he is pretty much unblockable if I ever get to the point of attacking. Lashwrithe and Nightmare Lash help make damage lethal if it gets to that point.
No. I generally try to avoid infinites as no one in my meta has any (or there are very few). I admit it is tempting and it would be powerful, but I think the deck stands on its own without infinite mana as I can create quite a bit of mana already.
I assume you are referring to Cabal Coffers + Deserted Temple + Rings of Brighthearth so the combo isn't that hard to assemble. In reality, Rings is mainly in the deck to just ramp "normally" by getting additional cards off fetches or Liliana. There are obviously other interactions but that was the main interaction that caused me to include it.
Profane Command is a card that I never really thought about. I can see where it would be good so I will see if I can find a spot for it. I have a couple I never use.
As to Blood Artist and Cutthroat: I would be more inclined for Cutthroat since it hits all opponents but, for both of them, I feel that their effect is too small. There are a lot of Sac effects in the deck, but it isn't something I want to be doing. They are mostly there to protect my creatures from being exiled and a couple for incidental life gain.
I will keep the cutthroat in mind though as I am playing the deck to see if it would make sense. For now, I will definitely look at getting Profane Command into the deck. Thanks for the suggestion.
I have been slowly moving away from Mindslicer in my decks anyway since it just slows the game to a crawl. While I can theoretically take advanatage of it with my recursion, I just don't think it plays the greatest.
I will see how well Profane Command plays in its place.
Conspiracy brought one new card I want to try out in this deck: Capital Punishment
This card seems like it should be a very good political card and it is hard for my opponents to get a choice that doesn't hurt them in some way. This is also a card that potentially gets rid of problematic indestructible creatures (such as Avacyn, Angel of Hope) if everyone votes to sacrifice (assuming the player with Avacyn has 3 or fewer creatures). Even if it is split, every opponent sacrifices 2 creatures and discards 2 cards. That seems pretty good for 6 mana.
The list as it currently is has these two cards that seem the easiest to cut: Disciple of Griselbrand and Soldevi Adnate. I happen to like the Adnate to help ramp if I need it and the life gain off Disciple isn't really relevant. It was mainly in here as a Sac outlet so my stuff didn't get exiled, but I don't think it is worth taking up a slot.
I have found that Capital Punishment has not been as good as I want it to be. There have been a couple good casts of it, but most of the time, I don't get what I want out of it.
So, I have decided to try a new card: Demon of Dark Schemes. This is a second Massacre Wurm (that hits my stuff too), but it gives me a way to clear the board potentially as well as reanimate creatures for a relatively low cost.

Also, with all the sac abilities in here... Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat.
