Tenza, Godo's Maul: It sure fits the lore, but when I'm not equiping it to Godo it will only be a +1/+1. Moonsilver Spear: Another high equip cost (4) and doesn't give Godo evasion. Heartseeker: Like you said a high equipcost, and when I use Heartseeker, Godo won't be attacking. Sword of Feast and Famine: I'll try to get my hands on a Batterskull first. The swords are all nice, especially Fire and Ice for the draw power.
I think this will be a card for in the long run. First I gotta test, test, test and see if Mister Godo delivers :P.

Ye, the Heartseeker si only useful in combination of your Brass Squire and another random creature.
Maybe Mimic Vat would be interessting. ... but maybe not Budget...

Well... it's difficult to say what you can cut from your deck.... always depens on the plaugroup and ist powerlevel.
I think you will notice while playing which spell is too expensive.
And be careful with mass Land destruction. In my Group, ppl don't like to see that

I'd go for Artifacts that search Basic lands or make mana by themself.

They can be used repeatedly... that's something very important in EDH.
Seething Song makes just *puff* +2 Mana..... and that's it.

Uhh, as win condition is land destruction good.
But I noticed that many ppl don't like it and stop playing against certain decks.... which results in boring evenings.^^
Well, I personally would replace Generator Servant with the Samurai Taurean Mauler Having a creature that grows really big, especially in multiplayer is way better than a 1 time haste boost.... for such stuf exist Swiftfoot boots ^.^

True Generator Servant is only a one time effect, but it brings out Godo two turns earlier ^^. Taurean Mauler is a thing I should probably include.
Too bad it doesn't have any form of evasion or protection.
Hi, I've been playing Godo for about 3 years now and playing with a mono red deck comes with its own set of issues, primarily that a lot of its strengths in terms of 60 cards decks are not well suited for EDH. With that being said, I love playing Godo and have found a few things to be extremely important when playing the deck.
2. You need a lot less equipment that you think you do. In my list I play only a few select equipment. Sword of Fire and Ice, Sword of feast and Famine and Batterskull are the ones I tutor for the most in terms of stat modifying equipment. I know those cards are all expensive but over time I suggest you try to pick up the swords first, because their protection is so relevant for punch through the ground blockers that so often clog the early game. You also need to have ways of protecting Godo and giving him haste, I've found the Best ways are Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots if you are looking for a third haste enabler I've like Sword of vengeance as well a third way of protecting Godo and giving some much needed evasion against colorless creatures is Whispersilk Cloak. I have liked Skullclamp with some of the lands I will mention later to give red some card draw.
3. Even the playing field in terms of colors. Land destruction is something that can be frowned upon in many play groups. If yours is cool with it, Ruinationis great and Blood Moon and Magus of the Moon are two non-budget options. Some other sweet land destruction cards are Wildfire, Destructive Force and a less budget option of Burning of Xinye. One of my favorite budget land destruction cards is Keldon Firebombers.Decree of Annihilation is also good but you already have it in your list.
Finally a few lands that you aren't playing but could be: Crystal Vein is a one shot mana boost that I have liked a lot after playing with it,Sandstone needle is also a nice land to accelerate you a bit. Springjack pasture, Kher Keep, ghitu encampment, Mishra's factory can all make tokens or carry equipment to try to push through the last points of damage and the former two can help make bodies for skull clamp to draw cards with should you decide to play both. Hall of the bandit lord isn't the cheapest money wise but it is a great land for giving hast to Godo. What I like about your build is how creature light it is, I think if you are playing Godo you need to basically be all in on him. You can also play Daretti, Scrap Savant, Chandra, Pyromaster for additional card advantage engines in the deck.
If you decide to go with any of my changes and want help with what cards to cut let me know. I'd be happy to help.

I'm not too impressed with Surveyor's Scope, so that will probably go.

+ Prismatic Lens
- Surveyor's Scope
+ Darksteel Ingot
- Loxodon Warhammer
+ Commander's Sphere
- Nim Deathmantle
+ Cold-Steel Heart
- Word of Seizing
+ Cold-Steel Heart
- Gratuitous Violence
Won't I be stuck with a little too much ramp? 18 ramp cards.

I'm thinking about Loxodon Warhammer and Nim Deathmantle myself.
I have a Sword of War and Peace in my Dakkon deck, which I could transfer.
And like you suggested a Sword of Fire and Ice would go wonderful in here. The cost of that card is way to high to be honest, but I know it's well worth it.
Equipment changes
+ Whispersilk Cloak (How often are you bothered by the shroud of this one?)
- Smash

In case of the MLD, I'm not sure how my playgroup will react. They'll probably groan and focus on me, but hey if they can ramp... I can blow some stuff up!
Wildfire and Destructive Force, I've been thinking about this. The biggest downside I'm seeing is that it could easily destroy Godo if he isn't big enough.
On the other side, it could count as creature removal.
I have a foil Burning of Xinye, the price dropped alot with the reprint ^^.
Keldon Firebombers is another good creature, but like you said I'm not sure how many creatures I would like in the deck.
Finally a few lands that you aren't playing but could be: Crystal Vein is a one shot mana boost that I have liked a lot after playing with it,Sandstone needle is also a nice land to accelerate you a bit. PS: Sorry for the super long post/
Don't need to apologize for the long post.
The more information I can get, the stronger I will go into battle! ^^
Won't I be stuck with a little too much ramp? 18 ramp cards.
I've found that the deck is typically so all in that if you aren't getting your commander out early, you are not ganna have a good time playing the deck, so I like to maximize the amount of ramp in the deck to avoid being to far behind. Also with land destruction having a lot of your mana in the form of artifact is great so that when you blow up all the lands, you still can move equipment around and such.
If you're worried about what to do with excess ramp cards, slotting in trading post can let you cycles some extra artifacts, it also can be recursion for equipment should it be destroyed and makes goat tokens to carry equipment should Godo cost to much and they can be skull clamped as well should you decide to add that to the deck.
+ Whispersilk Cloak (How often are you bothered by the shroud of this one?)
I find that sometimes the shroud is annoying, don't get me wrong, but typically if I tutor this up, Godo has already died 1-2 times and it is later in the game meaning that I don't need any stat modifying equipment and once I get the cloak just voltron him up and swing for the fences, if you are forced to get cloak early, the shroud can definitely be a problem.
You're saying I don't need too much equipment, which things would you cut?
I'm thinking about Loxodon Warhammer and Nim Deathmantle myself.
In regards to the equipment I'd cut, not a huge fan of Nim Deathmantle, the recursion aspect of the card is not super impressive you aren't really generating a ton of value from it. I also think that Argentum Armor is REALLY expensive to play and REALLY expensive to equip. If you aren't tutoring it out it feels really bad to cast in my experience, and often you don't want to spend the entire turn after you tutor it out to equip it only to have Godo killed. The destroying two permanents is sweet, but that is about all it does, it still takes 3 combat steps to kill someone with commander damage (two turns) so it is not like it is increasing your clock by a lot but if you just really feel you need the vindicate effect by all means keep it. I'd be more inclined to look towards Spine of Ish Sah or unstable obelisk. Strata Scythe can definitely be nice, but I find if you are going the land destruction route, the equipment doesn't do much and I find my self playing a lot of non-basic lands in the deck because it is not even close to color intensive you basically can play the entire game with a single red mana to cast Godo. With that being said, the mana doubler in caged sun probably isn't great if you go down a land destruction route. So you have to potential cuts should you go down that path.

I've been wondering the same thing about my mana doublers. After I blow up all the lands, I get the advantage that if I play a mountain it counts for two. Thus I'm a step ahead.
Of course the artifact ramp solves that problem.
I'll try to test the deck in real life as soon as possible, probably the soonest will be during the summer holiday.
Another thing I would like to include is Heat Shimmer. An extra trigger of Godo, some blockers if I copy an Avenger of Zendikar, ... Might come in handy.
You make good points about Strata Scythe vs the MLD as well. I guess time will tell when I test it ^^.
Do you have your list online somewhere DeBugg? And do you have other suggestions on what to cut? What's your opinion on Gratuitous Violence?
It seems to be budget, which can be fun. One thing I wonder about is something that will really mess with opponents plus make one seriously huge dude. Vulshok battlemaster, perhaps?
Added some new goodies from EMA, sweet Winter Orb reprint.
I hope I can soon test my deck irl... The summer is coming!
I also added a section with cards I'm tinkering with. Stuff I might add or cut.
Do you guys agree on the suggested adds and cuts, or have other thoughts?
I'm planning on adding a little more creatures (15 in total), and removing some equipment.
I like the addition of more creatures. It makes me feel nervous when I have such little defense on the board.
I feel the same! Especially with my creature heavy meta ^^.
Would you add any other creatures, or are you fine with these?
Hopefully Sin Prodder pulls his weight! I love that little devil.
I wasn't sure if I was to add either Burnished Hart or Pilgrim's Eye.
With Burnished Hart I don't need to hold any mana open, and Pilgrim has evasion.
That was my reasoning behind it.

I like both of the cards but your deck has resource denial cards. I would run the Eye so that you can keep the land in hand for reserve.
The card can backfire and I wouldn't run it unless you want your lands to die. You will be already low on resources if youre loosing lands from your own cards.
You're right, it's not really worth it.
I added a bunch more creatures, sitting at 18 instead of the original 7!
There's a small goblin package as well.

1. Get Godo out as fast as possible. This generally means playing A LOT of artifact mana. Some key mana acceleration that I see that you are missing and aren't too expensive money wise are: Cold Steel Heart ,Fractured Powerstone, Jeweled Amulet , Prismatic Lens, Star Compass, Thought vessel, Basalt Monolith, Heart of Ramos, Commander's sphere, Unstable Obelisk, Pristine Talisman, Darksteel Ingot and Thran Dynamo which is a little on the pricier side. I also like the more one shot effects like Generator Servant, Seething Song, Vessel of Volatility. In the same vein Treasonous Ogre is also great.

Won't I be stuck with a little too much ramp? 18 ramp cards.
You're saying I don't need too much equipment, which things would you cut?
I'm thinking about Loxodon Warhammer and Nim Deathmantle myself.
Don't need to apologize for the long post.
The more information I can get, the stronger I will go into battle! ^^

Well most of the times, when I play EDH, I only have 2 opponents :P.
My playgroup used to be bigger, but that changed due to circumstances.
I don't feel like I should include Blade of Selves if I only have 2 opponents. Thanks for the suggestions though.

I added a bunch more creatures, sitting at 18 instead of the original 7!
There's a small goblin package as well.
