I have whittled down this list to a solid 100. It is quite heavy on creatures and probably isn't optimal, but I wanted to make a fun Ally tribal deck so here it is:
Blade of Selves on Tazri means lots of tutoring, on Hagra Diabolist or Halimar Excavator can be a win condition - essentially every ally has solid ETB effects that can be abused to a great extent with it.

Excellent idea, I was thinking of putting in an equipment package and throwing in the Allies that care, Blade of Selves is one big step closer.
Skullclamp could probably find its way in here as well.
EDIT: Have you picked it up and played it yet? I never went from "let's have a look" to "hmm, I might pick this up" in such a short time (or ever, really).

I haven't picked it up yet, the cards I ordered haven't arrived yet.
As soon as they come in I'm going to sleeve it up and give it a whirl, I already have ideas for some changes.
In case someone should get on the idea to cast a mass removal... it's their death in combination of Hagra Diabolist and some other allys.
Also veeery Handy when single allys die... you get them trigger one more time even if they are 1/1... and Allys that grow with +1/+1 can come again and again...

Do you think Strionic Resonator is a viable option with this type of a deck? Also what about Vedalken Orrery to give your creatures the ability to flash in?

IMO, the resonator is okay but not worth throwing in due to the mana commitment required.
Also the need to replace prophet can eat up 2 to 4 card slots and is not really crucial with Allies because they do not have many triggers that directly impact opponents - I would run Chord of Calling first before trying to force "ghetto Prophet"

The plan is to go deep on Allies and die trying. I have a goofy little Zada, Hedron Grinder package that can also help out in a pinch: Twinflame, Heat Shimmer, Cackling Counterpart, Momentary Blink, and Rite of Replication.
I plan on playtesting it a bunch once I get my hands on the Gatewatch cards.

It's rather budget-ish as well, which I like a lot.
This is a deck that wants Chromatic Lantern if I've ever seen one.
Also, Flameshadow Conjuring could be nice tech.
