Bastion of Remembrance - It's like Zulaport Cutthroat but on an enchantment which makes it harder to get rid of. The deck doesn't run any of these effects though since I'd rather win via beatdown. That being said, it's definitely a great component to an aristocrats strategy which is something this deck can do well.
Chittering Harvester - A bit costly at 5 mana to mutate but when it does each opponent sacrifices a creature. Mutating onto Mazirek makes it a 4/6 instead of a 2/2 plus the counters for opponents sacrificing creatures. Definitely worth a slot in the budget build.
Gemrazer - Another great card to mutate onto Mazirek, making it a 4/4 with flying, trample, and reach. It also naturalizes when it mutates so it can also get rid of a pesky artifact or enchantment when it does. So it can do a ton of things all in one fell swoop and for just 3 mana.
Fiend Artisan - Is like a mix between Lhurgoyf and Prime Speaker Vannifar. It's definitely worth a slot in the deck because of how well it synergizes with it. The deck's already running Razaketh, the Foulblooded but not Birthing Pod. But I prefer Fiend Artisan since it's super cheap, it triggers Mazirek, and it cheats any creature onto the battlefield from the graveyard. Again, definitely worth a slot in the deck.
The Ozolith - 100% going in the deck. This is better than Reyhan since it can store all counters on it and then pass them to another creature at the beginning of combat. Sending all +1/+1 counters to Mazirek is a way to potentially one-shot an opponent. Definitely going in the deck.
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
Goremand - It's essentially a 6-costed Fleshbag Marauder that sticks around since you sacrifice your creature as part of its cost and not its effect. It's also a 5/5 with flying and trample, so there's that to consider, too.
Witch's Cauldron - It's basically a Vampiric Rites where you have to tap it, making it worse. It's also an artifact which is easier to destroy than enchantments.
Elder Gargaroth - Not only is this creature amazing in a vacuum, but pumped with a ton of +1/+1 counters makes it oppressive as both a beater and blocker.
Invigorating Surge - I'd rather this type of effect to be recurrable. It's not bad, but cards like Kalonian Hydra are better.
Twinblade Assassins - If it triggered at the end of every turn then it'd definitely go in the deck. Unfortunately, at just the end of my turn not so much.
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
Witch of the Moors - This would be an autoinclude in the deck if not for there only being 3 cards in the entire deck that gain me life .
Allosaurus Shepherd - It makes half of my spells uncounterable for just G and it is itself uncounterable as well. Unfortunately, I can't take full advantage of it in this deck even though there are 7 elves in it and Freyalise creates elves.
Branching Evolution - Would be a great way to have redundancy for effects like Doubling Season. However, the deck used to run Corpsejack Menace which was cut because it was winmore. So this enchantment would probably be the same thing. That being said, both it and Corpsejack Menace are great for Mazirek for anyone who wants to take stompy to the next level.

Do you think the repeatability and body of Fiend Artisan makes it a better include than Diabolic Intent, which is cheaper mana-wise and doesn't just search for creatures?
Diabolic Intent is straight to the point. However, I like Fiend Artisan since it's repeatable and most of the combo pieces are creatures, anyways. It can also become a huge beater. Diabolic Intent is like a second copy of a key card in the deck but Fiend Artisan is every creature in the deck. They're both incredibly useful in their own way so I feel that it boils down to personal preference.

Although the Nim Deathmantle combo is amazing, it is a bit convoluted sometimes to pull off. So with better cards coming out (thanks, power creep!) I decided to put cards that do more or less the same function while being able to do so on their own. So I took out a combo in order to put in cards that function well independently.

Agadeem's Awakening - With sacrificing creatures in this deck, there will be instances where our graveyard if full of creatures that we've used for advantage. This can reanimate a lot of them (since they have to have different casting costs). The best thing about this spell, however, is that it doesn't really take up a slot in the deck since it can be played as Agadeem, the Undercrypt, thus only taking up a land slot.
Ancient Greenwarden - The deck doesn't have a lot of landfall effects but it does run a lot of fetchlands, and this is a great way to replay them from the graveyard. It's definitely stronger than Ramunap Excavator.
Ashaya, Soul of the Wild - Makes all of our nontoken creatures into forests. This not only saves them from nonland effects (like Cyclonic Rift and the like) but can also accelerate the deck by turning our creatures into mana dorks.
Iridescent Hornbeetle - This card is crazy good here. Any turn we put a +1/+1 on each of our creatures, we're going to get a 1/1 for each of those at the end of our turn. Not only will this grow our army, but it will give us a ton of sacrifice fodder.
Oran-Rief Ooze - It might be a bit winmore, but if it attacks with a bunch of creatures that already have a +1/+1 counter on it, it's going to add another one on them. If we have our effects that double counters, it can possibly add up.
Scute Swarm - Though this isn't a landfall deck, we are constantly getting plenty of lands onto the battlefield at once (or at the very minimum two triggers per turn when replaying fetchlands). This means that this will either present us with a bunch of sacrifice fodder or a huge swarm (no pun intended) we can swing in with.

Here's my review for The Walking Dead × Secret Lair:
*DISCLAIMER*
While no doubt a very controversial product, I do not believe in gatekeeping; I will still respect players excited by and looking forward to playing with these cards. Likewise, I respect those who took personal offense by this product. That being said, I will be objective in reviewing what could be used from this product for this deck.
Lucille - This equipment is absolutely crazy here and I'm limitlessly upset that it doesn't yet exist as an MtG IP version. Not only does it give Mazirek +2/+0 and menace, making it even harder to block (especially since we're having opponents constantly sacrifice their creatures) but it also forces the defending player to sacrifice a creature before blockers are even declared. If that weren't enough, you create a zombie when they do, giving you even more sacrifice fodder.
Michonne, Ruthless Survivor - She creates two 2/2 zombies when she enters the battlefield. This means that Michonne could be used as another potential creature for the Ashnod's Altar / Nim Deathmantle combo. Having her equipped with the deathmantle will also make her equipment dependent ability relevant although not entirely useful for what the deck wants to accomplish. Curiously enough, Lucille is an excellent equipment for a Michonne deck. This means that you can potentially include both of these cards in your deck if you feel so inclined to.
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
Necrotic Hex - Having the entire table sacrifice six creatures puts a ton of +1/+1 counters on our creatures. We also get 6 2/2 zombies back for our troubles. Amazing card.
Szat's Will - Has each opponent sacrifice their strongest creature but if we control Mazirek then we will also exile opponents' graveyards and create a bunch of thrull tokens as well. Also an amazing card for the deck.
Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools - Not only does he create sacrifice fodder while gaining loyalty but can also be used as a sacrifice outlet to draw cards. Drawing 2 cards is enough since we don't really want to sacrifice Mazirek considering how expensive it is to cast.
Kamahl's Will - Not only can it be used as a removal spell but turning all of our lands into indestructible creatures means more bodies to put +1/+1 counters on. Not necessarily an auto-include in the deck, but it is worth mentioning.
Jeweled Lotus - As mentioned earlier, casting Mazirek is quite costly. This is a no-brainer to include.
Undergrowth Stadium - Finally, another land megacycle is completed. Thanks to this we get a battlebond land for BG decks.
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
Draugr Necromancer - If you want to steal your opponents creatures, this'll do it. They're constantly sacrificing creatures so not only will this exile them instead, but we can then replay them afterwards. Not only to use them against our opponents but as potential sacrifice fodder as well.
Dream Devourer - For just 1B, we have a creature that essentially reduces the casting of our nonland cards without fortell (which is so far none of them). We can then recast them later on. So while we end up paying the same cost in the end, we can empty our hand if necessary and then cast the spells for cheaper when we can.
Eradicator Valkyrie - It's ability requires attacking to be able to use it, but it's a 4/3 flyer so we'll definitely have someone to swing into. Being able to have the entire table sacrifice a creature each turn is busted in this deck. This is like another Rankle.
Tergrid, God of Fright - Perhaps the best Kaldheim card for this deck. With all of the edict effects in the deck we're going to be stealing practically everything if we have Tergrid on the battlefield. She's a no-brainer her. Her first half if the most important one since Tergrid's Lantern isn't as busted as the front half. She's an auto-include here.
Tergrid's Shadow - A more expensive Barter in Blood but it'll cost as much if we foretell it and it has the bonus of being at instant speed.
Binding of the Old Gods - For 4 mana it can destroy a nonland permanent and then ramp us a nonbasic forest (if we want) and then gives deathtouch to all of our creatures. While all 3 abilities are great, they're not really that impacting with the current version of this deck.
Sarulf, Realm Eater - This is a great way to take advantage of all the sacrifices that are happening. Then, if anyone has a more menacing boardstate than us, we can reset Sarulf to reset the table, all while leaving itself and lands behind. It's bound to get ridiculously huge with this deck. Unfortunately it has no built-in evasion.
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
Ruthless Winnower - Very similar to Anowon, the Ruin Sage, this is a 4/4 that has each player sacrifice a nonElf creature instead. Could very easily be considered for more budget versions of the deck.
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
Plumb the Forbidden - Amazing way to sacrifice our board in order to draw into a ton of cards. Then any remaining creatures (especially Mazirek) gets a ton of +1/+1 counters on them.
Professor Onyx - Unfortunately the only real useful ability from her for this deck is making each opponent sacrifice they strongest creature.
Tenured Inkcaster - A bit situational since there are better cards with a similar trigger, but for a budget deck it's definitely a great way to increase the aggro before your attackers even hit.
Valentin, Dean of the Vein / Lisette, Dean of the Root - The dean most cast is likely going to be Valentin. He's a 1-drop and can create tokens when our opponents' nontoken creatures die. These tokens can function as sacrifice fodder that also gain us life in a pinch. As a bonus, the nontoken creature gets exiled.
Daemogoth Titan - An 11/10 that's incredibly easy to cast with this deck, it lacks trample or any kind of evasion but it is somewhat a sacrifice outlet. Either way, if an opponent lacks blockers they're going to receive a huge smack from this demon.
Deadly Brew - An amazing global edict. It only costs 2 mana and then it can recover another permanent from our graveyard to our hand. Definitely an auto-include!
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
Some of these cuts are pretty self-explanatory since the cards added are better for what the deck is doing overall. Since The Ozolith is in the deck, Reyhan isn't really that necessary, so that was an easy cut. Gaea's Cradle was taken out because I don't always have a lot of creatures; sometimes I have a couple of huge ones. So I cut it for Agadeem's Awakening which can come into play untapped in a pinch as a land or it can be used to recover creatures. So it's a better swap, in my opinion. There's a lot of goodies from Strixhaven so this will probably get updated once more after I test the new cards that interest me.

Hi DementedKirby! I am loving this deck! Made some tweaks to it to make it my own and have been playing it for a few years. Looking to update it and wanted to see your most recent build for inspiration. Curious what you are running. I see a lot of out/in posts but it's difficult to gather from how many of these posts there have been as to what your deck actually looks like at this point.
Do you have your current build uploaded somewhere? Would love to see it!

I've been meaning to update the OP with the most recent version of what I'm running in real life after the release of Kaldheim. I've been quite busy recently with some real life stuff but I hope to be able to update it tomorrow. At the very least, I'll reply to your post with my updated list.

That would be awesome! Looking forward to it! I'm playing a version of your deck without infinite combos (personal choice) and with a few pet cards (death cloud and others) but would love some guidance on what works given the latest sets. I'm not particularly good at designing decks with so many moving parts like this one but you seems to have a great handle on it.

Thanks! I have been playing with this deck since I bought the precon and have been editing it heavily because I have had it since then.
As I mentioned in my previous answer, at least here's my current list (at least until I update the OP). This is what I currently have in paper:

Awesome! I love it! I honestly can't see anything I would want to change here from looking at it briefly. Although will probably take out Lucille for Death Cloud since I just can't get my head around the Walking Dead cards and I have a fever and the only cure is Death Cloud.

After putting your deck into TappedOut, it seems very heavy on 4 and 5 with a decent amount of ramp at 0 and 1 but not much after that. Do you find the high average CMC to be an issue with this deck?

Not really. This isn't meant to be a fast-paced deck and it's more reactive than proactive. It's better to wait for opponents to have things on the board anyways since you're going to force them to sacrifice things to trigger Mazirek.

Author of Shadows - With all of the creatures and other things we're forcing opponents to sacrifice, we might be able to steal something good besides also having the potential of screwing over graveyard matters decks by exiling their graveyard.
Blight Mound - A cute way to take advantage of our own nontoken creatures dying since they're essentially replacing themselves. These tokens dying would then gain us life, but are 2/1's with menace, which isn't bad, considering that Mazirek makes them larger.
Fain, the Broker - 100% going in the deck. All of his abilities are relevant here plus he has a built-in untap ability for even further value.
Fractal Harness - Even if we cast this for X=0, it's still great in the deck since it'll double the +1/+1 counters on the equipped creature when it attacks. This can make Mazirek even more dangerous than it is. The deck no longer has Kalonian Hydra which did it better, but at least artifacts stick around a bit longer than creatures do.
Yedora, Grave Gardener - This is an interesting way to make the most out of our nontoken creatures dying since they return as forests. Since the deck has ways to also sacrifice lands, we can make even more out of our creatures dying.
Tempting Contract - If opponents take the treasures, then they have things to sacrifice to trigger Mazirek. And, if they do, you get that many treasures as well to further Mazirek's triggers, too.
Witch's Clinic - The deck doesn't aim to gain a lot of life but life is a resource in it so being able to gain a ton of it from Mazirek without taking up a slot in the deck is definitely something to consider.
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
Have you considered running Crystalline Crawler in place of Gyre Sage? It costs more, but generates counters less conditionally and has the payoff of being usable on multiple turns instead of just once per cycle.
Have you considered running Crystalline Crawler in place of Gyre Sage? It costs more, but generates counters less conditionally and has the payoff of being usable on multiple turns instead of just once per cycle.
That's definitely an interesting swap since the crawler does have the potential of entering with 4 +1/+1 counters if you're running City of Brass and Mana Confluence that can tap for mana of any color. It won't tap down for as much mana but it can be used multiple times at instant speed as many times as you can and even if it had summoning sickness. It's definitely a great suggestion.
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
Archon of Cruelty - It costs a whopping 8 mana to cast but it's a 6/6 flyer with an ability so at least it passes the vanilla test. However, what makes it great for Mazirek is that triggered ability that happens when it enters the battlefield and when it attacks. Target opponent sacrifices a creature or planeswalkers, discards a card, and loses 3 life. On top of that, you draw a card and gain 3 life. I'd have to extensively test this because of its high mana value. The deck does generate a ton of mana, but by the time you're able to cast this, your opponents will more likely than not already be creatureless.
Dauthi Voidwalker - A 2 mana 3/2 with shadow is amazing stats and I'm glad it's just a rare. On top of that, it's a Leyline of the Void on a body, which is great against graveyard and reanimator decks. You can then tap it and sacrifice it to cast any exiled card with it for free. Since we're able to reanimate and recur our creatures, we can potentially do this multiple times in a game. Definitely worth testing.
Nested Shambler - Thanks to Mazirek putting a ton of +1/+1 counters on it, if you sacrifice it to any ability afterwards, you're going to get a ton of squirrels, which can then be used as sacrifice fodder or as more free bodies to carry more +1/+1 counters. 100% going in the Budget Build but worth considering in the Main Build.
Herd Baloth - This is an autoinclude in this deck. It goes infinite with Mazirek and any free sacrifice outlet. When it gets a +1/+1 counter and creates the token, you sacrifice that token to trigger Mazirek and get yet another +1/+1 counter and token.
Tireless Provisioner - The deck's already running Tireless Tracker which synergizes amazingly well with the fetchlands while also providing us card draw via tokens that have a built-in sacrifice outlet. This one creates treasures which is even better since they're free to crack and can accelerate us even further. 100% going in the deck.
Urza's Saga - Helps get either Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, or Jeweled Lotus which can help casting Mazirek or even Animation Module which is an amazing card in the deck. Even if we do have Mazirek already out, when the saga gets sacrificed to its own trigger that'll trigger Mazirek. So this is great regardless of when we use it.

Thanks so much!
Yes, finding cuts in the deck is incredibly difficult - I would know; I've been tinkering with this nonstop since Mazirek's precon came out

Not really. This isn't meant to be a fast-paced deck and it's more reactive than proactive. It's better to wait for opponents to have things on the board anyways since you're going to force them to sacrifice things to trigger Mazirek.
