Mizzix is something that once I saw spoiled brought me out of a slump.
You see, I make decks constantly...they're often taken apart days after or if I'm lucky weeks.
I love building interesting decks but if they're not good enough to preform in my meta then they're useless to me.

Anyway I've started my own gameplay channel in which I play games (Magic also)
Have you considered Empty the Warrens/Young Pyromancer + Impact Tremors/Purphoros as an additional win condition? I'm not sure if Guttersnipe alone is enough for the deck.
Also, is there a reason you're including Dack Fayden and Jace? They seem strictly worse than more Instant or Sorceries.
Dack can draw cards and early one can steal someone's sol ring or mana crypt to put myself ahead.
Jace is excellent in control and his brainstorm effect works very well for digging for something if need be.

I've found that Ignite memories usually kills just fine. Temporial fissure works well to bounce everything I dont control.

Ya, honestly it's the goldfishing appeal that has me so excited. Cantrips have always been my favorite and just thinking of some those outrageously good but poorly costed draw spells. I'm just glad someone else is testing it and I've gotten such good feedback. All that money saved for the rest of the expedition I need and other commander decks I went all got pooled into ordering cards. Extra turns and red in general is something I've never done. If it really holds out, one of us should do the primer. I don't even need to play it to know if nothing else, it'll lbe way more exciting than Melek can be.

Yeah I never had red for decks that I kept. I like Shu Yun and my testing with Moxnix's Teferi and Prossh made me want to build this fella.
Plus I really want to put High tide, Mind's Desire, and Dack Fayden in a deck.
I think that the red parts of this deck will slowly dwindle though to the point where it's 90 percent blue aside from Dack, infinite storm combo, and ignite memories but still need to test the ***** out of this deck
I traded a ton of my trade stock for power over the last week because I didn't think I would be making another deck and plus...it's power, no question.
Thankfully the cards I don't have are super cheap...except no spare Jaces, Mana drains, or candelabras but hell if I really like the deck I'll just get them eventually

I hope to get good enough at the storm deck that my turns dont take real long and people will know when they are dead.
I will likely cut extra fluff like Ral or Volcanic vision to make the deck much better without the general because I can picture that situation coming up a few times. I think making the deck more focused on storm with Mizzix at the helm to support would be better but I still need to take this to the field to find out.

Ya, how much ramp are you doing? I was thinking key too but it makes me want to consider Thran Dynamo...but I suspect it's cause I have had too much time with Sharuum. I finally get to test Saturday, so I have a few days to tweak. Let me know if Jtms gives any good results, I have him in there now but he has such a reputation I feel like it'll bit removal every time. I feel like a 4 drop needs to have more immediate impact. Tezz I like a lot.

Why Mizzix instead of Arjun? I feel like the limiting factor for R/U is cards more often than mana.
That's likely true. I never considered Arjun since I dismissed him pretty much imminently for...reasons...
If Mizz doesn't work out I will try him out since some of the best cards in this deck are Windfall/Wheel/draw effects, and I don't like having my opponents draw cards from it.
Also if it doesn't work I may go the old fashioned way and just add black. Too early to tell.

I'm hoping spells like Flow of Ideas and Stroke of Genius will make up for it. She's almost gold fishing incarnate, I feel like one could just High Tide early and just keep going.
I just realized how absolutely broken Clockspinning is in here.
For 1 mana you can pump up how ever many counters you want.
Still need to assemble the rest of the deck for testing but I feel like that's one of the first things I'm adding here.

I had Mystic Speculation in there as a way to have the option to storm count: U just to see try that idea. This is way, way better
edit: Coalition Relic could be a really cool target. I think that connection and proliferate could net some significant mana since in a lot of cases, you only need 1-2 to cast something.
That's another excellent idea.
Getting it to two counters with something like Tezzerets Gambit or fuel for the cause and using the relic counter to cast clockspinning for infinite storm.
Kinda dumb but it works. Means I can remove the reiterate + Seething song combo since Reiterate has been...eh so far.

Inexorable Tide might be worth testing in place of clockspinning. If you run enough proliferate, it might make Inkmoth Nexus worth including as a way to proliferate someone to death while you storm out.
I have it on my test list.
I had it in the original list when I was playtesting but took it out since it felt like a win more often and I may remove a good amount of the X spells from this anyway.

Edit: We have similar test lists/actual lists now. It seems like the core is down, its the tweaking from here. Idk what combo pieces to keep or cut at this point, and im all over the place with ramp
I have not.
I probably will have this deck build and tested next week honestly as most of the testing is currently online, I view beacon as free mana ramp if Mizzix cost more than 4 and I need her out.
So far most of my kills have been via Mind's Desire for 8+ -> 12 + -> 30 + for my whole deck.
From there guttersnipe can do the trick or ignite memories + Remand or any return from grave effects (Mystic retrevial, past in flames, or mizzix's Mastery)
Temporial fissure + any wheel is often game too so that's a viable option since you have things like Tezzeret turning your artifacts into 5/5's for the kill is viable as well.
So far I'm considering cutting the cute with Mizz cards like spell burst or forbid (gasp) for lower cmc counters like pyroblast and red blast since the only real threats are the blue mage countering me at the wrong time.
I will likely also add things like chain of vapor because you never know when Gaddock teeg or Rule of law will hit the board.
So far I don't think I need to add black to make the list super good but I'm setting aside my notion theifs, tutors, and doomsday if needed

So far most of my kills have been via Mind's Desire for 8+ -> 12 + -> 30 + for my whole deck.
From there guttersnipe can do the trick or ignite memories + Remand or any return from grave effects (Mystic retrevial, past in flames, or mizzix's Mastery)
Temporial fissure + any wheel is often game too so that's a viable option since you have things like Tezzeret turning your artifacts into 5/5's for the kill is viable as well.
So far I'm considering cutting the cute with Mizz cards like spell burst or forbid (gasp) for lower cmc counters like pyroblast and red blast since the only real threats are the blue mage countering me at the wrong time.
I will likely also add things like chain of vapor because you never know when Gaddock teeg or Rule of law will hit the board.
So far I don't think I need to add black to make the list super good but I'm setting aside my notion theifs, tutors, and doomsday if needed
