Baral's Expertise this could be really good as even without mizzix discount this could be a good tempo swing, give us a couple of experience counters or if discounted could "cheat" into play a CC4 spell/creature/artifact
Disallow all hail the new "Nope!" card soon to be included in every blue-running EDH deck
Indomitable Creativity represent another way to Polymorph our artifact tokens, is it good? I don't know, but the ability to choose the size of this spell could be a strong point toward versatility
Paradox Engine was the nail in the coffin for an artifact build. Im super tied up for another week or so, but I'll be back with a new list. I wanted another really powerful artifact to target with Trash for Treasure. I don't know if it'll be the permanent build, but there are a few 5 cmc artifacts that can blow a game out with mizz, and I'd like to find a way to reliably get them out for less than 5. A few cards printed this set would help with that too.

You know, I was thinking of another way of utilizing all the artifacts we have on the battlefield, mostly clue tokens created by Trail of Evidence and artifact creature tokens created by Metallurgic Summonings...
With Inspiring Statuary, they essentially become Wastes. They can help us keep up with giant mana costs while Mizzix is dead, give us more board presence in general, and in fact help pay for Mizzix to get back on the battlefield.
Admittedly in the worst case scenario it becomes a 3 mana rock that doesn't pay for artifacts, but that's still alright for a best case that improves our deck so significantly.
I personally am drawing the line at Paradox Engine and Alhammaret's Archive and a few extra rocks. It's not as effective as I had hoped, but I am bringing her back to a more competitive meta. Colorless mana is dead too often to invest in, especially since the artifacts that provide artifact density need to come from a game that's progressed and where you're holding the best case boardstate of one of the artifact producers you mentioned.
I will note now however, the Metallurgic Summonings and co. idea I wanted to try here works fantastically in a casual(ish) Yidris. Green and black adds Survival of the Fittest and Eldritech Evolution and the like, with the base of wheels, draw, and counter magic we have here. It certainly can't compete with Mizz as far as pushing competetive goes, but my lord is it fun. I even threw a Mizzix and Nath in so I can flip into something interesting.
The engine has been busted in my deck the few times it's come out - but that's only as long as there is available colored mana. Making sure those colored mana rocks are available have been key.
What have your choices for mana rocks if you are using the engine with them? Does it make sense to go back with an X SPELL variation build to be able to keep up? or limit the highest converted mana spells to say 6 or 7 ? I ask this because I am interested in playing my whole deck and I think could be along the line of what I've been looking for. My other thought is to switch our general with Arjun, The Shifting Flame that way every time you cast, the stuff untaps and you have a new hand of spells to mess with. So on and so on you would dig through your deck crafting your win!? Please tell me your thoughts!
Glided Lotus, Fellwar Stone (Im always in heavy blue metas), and for now that 2 cmc that enters tapped. I don't know if Arjun is the way to go, sure you can hit a ton of spells but you could be only untapping 1-2 mana, where Mizz can still shine. Right now Im looking at cards with colored symbols and figuring out what can go.
Hey. There's a league at my LGS that gives a huge amount of negative points when drawing 30+ cards or performing infinite combos. Anyone can think of a moderately viable win condition with none of those? The league is kinda casual, I just wanna play Mizzix a couple times to show them no amount of house rules will stop the few combo players left in the store.

In that case, I would convert to a more control-esque build of Mizzix instead of the cantripping madness here. Stop relying exclusively on Mizzix and run more mana rocks and spell cheapeners like Baral, Chief of Compliance, along with control backbreakers like Capsize, Spell Burst, Evacuation, Vandalblast. I think the Mizzix precon does a pretty good job of doing that.
I would also consider moving to a different color combination. Drawing cards and comboing is the thing Izzet in general, and specifically Mizzix, does best, and if your local meta tolerates nothing but battlecruisers I don't think she'll be able to work. Just add Green and go Maelstrom Wanderer, or look for a different meta.
Now that Amonket and Hour of Devastation are out why don't we analyse some of the new cards for our Mizzix decks?
As Foretold could be really intresting in a proliferate build, or in a more slower one
Bloodwater Entity can be another card to pick a spell from the graveyard, but I think that there are better cards (at least istants and sorceries)
By Force Artifact-centric meta? This is another solution
Commit // Memory is an intesting card, while Commit is not super strong it can be really usefull in certain situations (in response to a tutor / fetch / deck-shuffling effect) and Memory is just another weel, what I really like about aftermath is that you essencially have 2 card in 1, it means that you get to cast it 2 times with a decent mana cost to trigger Mizzix 2 times
Refuse // Cooperate because killing the guy with an infitite Fireball is hilarious and Cooperate is just good as you usually will pay him only (U), differently from other forks
Cryptic Serpent is just easy to cast in a deck so full of spells, but since you're going full-spells why would you run such a creature?
Galestrike bounce-draw seems cool (in limited at least) but I see him only in cantrip-centered builds
Hazoret's Undying Fury is such a wrong card, all the spells that I would like to hit are of CMC of 6 or more, but maybe somebody could run this? It's not like we really need a fixed and worse Epic Experiment
Hour of Devastation may be playable but I don't have any slot to play it, ultimately it depends from the meta
I really want to see Glorious End ending up in a deck, and I think we might be a good deck for it.
It's great for shutting down opposing plays before we start our winning turn.

While this is a very intresting card (and I do love intresting cards, Imaginary Threats is a great example) I don't see Glorious End being played in a Mizzix deck (at least not in mine, that is a control-bounce-storm build) just because this is multiplayer and on a game of 4 players so many things could go wrong with a "you lose" effect, also with the cost reduction of Mizzix we could just as well play an entire extra turn (in the blue way like Time Warp [there are 12 of these] or in a red way with Last Chance [and we have 2 of this]), also because this is multiplayer taking an extra turn is so much better than ending one and waiting for other two (in a 4 players game).
