Fiery Gambit - the insane king of the Zada pile of interactions. Radiate - ultimate copy spell, also an insane monster with the splice cards usually saved for Zada splits, even more fun if use in conjunction when Zada is on the field.
I really like this deck but I'm concerned that the plays might take too long, given all the math involved. I've had games where people do long plays (e.g. Narset, Enlightened Master) and it's like watching someone do their taxes. I wouldn't want to wish that on someone else. How are the deck's interactions in terms of play time?
Spells > Most Non-Spells
Mixes excellently with Scroll Rack
Spell Mastery is easy
has potential to pay for itself especially if Conspire is taken into account.
Continuing the general trend of making the deck worth more by Canabalizing other decks.
Out Overblaze way too conditional, sadly the splicing comes up far less than I would want without Zada being commander Mountain Chandra, the Firebrand - slowest most mana intensive copy that also can only be done sorcery speed Magmatic Insight weakest of the draw spells with the land count what it is
In Cavern of Souls - Hi Goblins, or Gods, or Elementals or Shamans Chord of Calling - What I need is on the board convoke is fun with so many tokens Wheel of Fortune - long time coming the best red draw works its way in Reforge the Soul - You never just play 1 wheel, when you can help it.
Some changes and updates the deck is still functioning in all its madness
Out Ghost Quarter - comes up far less often than I thought it would be required Phyrexian Altar - felt like a win more oddly even though I am aware of how powerful it is, the deck usually just blew past it and coasted on the colored mana that was already in play
In Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle - only 9 mountains but still that extra red and the extra damage can be nice. Omnath, Locus of Rage - looking through the deck it seems it could really pump out elementals if it wanted to either by land drops or by Tempt with Vengeance and Young Pyromancer. AngryOmnath makes the tempt even more terrifying than it already is.
Currently I am debating giving Perilous Forays a shot for massive Omnath and Earthcraft synergies and just all together good with a deck that makes tokens, as well as synergizing with Muse and Token produces.
There is for sure a version of this deck that goes hard in making an army and pumping them using Zada to spread buffs and things like Hunter's Insight, but this deck isn't that.
After a very long break from this deck I have come back around to it with a lot of new tools and lot of new ideas for themes and sub themes and ways to expand this thing in a lot of different ways.

Sweet! What did you have in mind?
Well I am gonna start with the new list in the opening post and then as for the places I was thinking of trying with it
1) A Loaming more Land focused deck
2) A version built around conspiring opponents spells
Now we're talkin'. I know i'd be tempted to Radiate a Fiery Gambit...
Out:
Vicious Shadows - Mana cost mostly and it is generally a win more because the only times I want to see it is after an Aurora
In:
Scroll Rack - I should not have to specify in all the ways this card is LOTS OF FUN in a deck like this.
So someone else wanted to give it a try.
vedalken orrery Scroll Rack in play.
There is a Stranglehold and Blind Obedience in play holding back the Wort player.
On the end of the player with both of those Wort goes to Rending Vines Spliced with Desperate Ritual targetting the Stranglehold
Holds priority to Dualcaster Mage the Blind Obedience
Other player casts Boros Charm
Wort player drops the ace in the hole that is Radiate
There are 15 total Artifact and Enchantments in play.
Because vedalken orrery is the last one to be targetted, he can then respond to EVERY Draw+threeR he makes.
The deck may be a tad crazy.
I don't exactly know how to change that however.
Parallel Lives - TokenMore
In
Young Pyromancer - Probably should have been in deck sooner, a great early game drop that if is not answered is insane.
Out:
Wood Elves
In:
Animist's Awakening

Back In
Phyrexian Altar: This card is actually too useful to cut.
Out
Guttersnipe: Win More and the weakest one at that.
Obtained
Earthcraft: The ultimate Ritual for this kind of deck, so many dumb uses.
Replaced
Hunter's Prowess: The Weakest Draw source in the deck
Currently I am debating giving Perilous Forays a shot for massive Omnath and Earthcraft synergies and just all together good with a deck that makes tokens, as well as synergizing with Muse and Token produces.
I am tempted to build this myself and fiddle with it.
In
Mizzix's Mastery
Out
Primal Command
Second Harvest
Eldritch Evolution
Collective Defiance
Price of Progress
Spontaneous Generation
Are the most recent additions.
I am playing with the idea of scrapping the arcane for some of the weirder Zada triggers that were in Eldritch Moon but am not sure yet.

Helm of Awakening, makes everything better, can lead to very explosive plays the turn it is played
Out:
Praetor's Counsel, a good effect that is way too much mana
Bringing that CMC of the deck down.

1) A Loaming more Land focused deck
2) A version built around conspiring opponents spells
3) A more heavy Splice deck with Zada
4) I want to find a good way to try out Neheb, The Eternal with Wort
5) Probably some Artifact based thing
6) A more tribal focused version
At least those are the ideas I have right now and who knows some of those themes might work very well with each other but we will see.
