I've other decks explicitly on queer experiences, including Alesha, Who Laughs at Transphobes and BLUE: The HIV Plague Years. I wanted a rainbow deck to chronicle the Supreme Court of the United States' ruling in favor of marriage equality.
The deck wins through the blessed unions facilitated by the Soulbond and Bestow mechanics. In addition to a horde of progressive notions moving forward, the deck has a backup win condition via the deliberations of the SCOTUS. Thefiveprogressiveassociatejustices help move things along as well.
DECK ARCHETYPE
This is a Voltron deck with a light pillowfort element.
As always, you have made a really cool and flavorful deck that tells an awesome story while still being good. I don't currently have any suggestions for cards, but wanted to say that I love this before I head off for the night.

Interesting God choices. Why Sun, Harvests, and Forge instead of Passage, Victory, and Revels? It's too bad none of the Jund ones are a great fit for Notorious RBG.
Maybe Hopeful Eidolon and Thassa's Emissary (the lobster buffet at the reception?) for more buffs to Horde? Eternal Witness (the city clerk) to get back stuff discarded to Wild Research/FOF/Chasm? Is the deck too color-intensive for the wedding ring? Not sure what Invincible Hymn is doing here either, since if you're not on the beatdown plan, you care more about damage prevention (for Elocutors) than lifegain.
Overall, I think the thing I'm most impressed by is not the flavor, but the fact that you managed to build a reasonable-looking Horde of Notions deck without including any other Elementals.

Heliod creates blockers that interact well with Sphere of Safety; Karametra tutors for dual lands; and Purphoros can wipe out opponents with Deadeye Navigator. Athreos' ability is conditional and the card contains B; Iroas is unnecessary with Thassa, God of the Sea; and Xenagos pumps and nothing else. I do love the flavor of the names (Passage, Victory, and Revels), but I also took the (presumed) gender of the progressive associate justices into account when selecting the gods to represent them. That necessitates three feminine gods and two masculine gods. I also wanted to use very few B cards.
Not sure what Invincible Hymn is doing here either, since if you're not on the beatdown plan, you care more about damage prevention (for Elocutors) than lifegain.
Invincible Hymn often forces opponents to either combo out or try to defeat me through commander damage. The latter can be very difficult with the deck's (legal) protections.

Proving once again that the commander doesn't dictate the deck. With each game, I start to think of this more and more as a bastardized Sliver deck, one requiring more thought given the Soulbond pairings.

Wait, there are other win conditions in EDH?
At least in groups I've played in, I've found the most common ways to win a game are combo, overwhelming card advantage, and/or mass land denial, the latter two most often invoking a silent plea to concede. What decks do you play with/against where a 70 point life swing is an effective barrier to victory?
ETA: Heck, if one wanted to, one could probably run this exact 99 with Sliver Hivelord at the helm (indestructible being one of the few keywords none of your bestowers/soulbonders grant) and have it work out fine.

The life gain is a delaying tactic and a resource for more cards.

Fine, perhaps, but not ideal. Hordes' abilities are much appreciated for offense/defense.

This is an awesome idea and again, I really love your flavor executions. Lots of little details all the while keeping a cohesive deck in mind. But, are you sure you couldn't find at least ONE Elemental card to add in? Not even a Changeling? lol But really, my only complaint, and it's not a big one. Interested in how well the Soulbond creatures work for you. Some are awesome, sure, but some are a tad lack luster... Also, curious how often the Elecutors actually can win. Seem like such a bullet magnet for removal or just general aggression.

I enjoy the irony factor, actually. Similarly, out of all my Stax decks, only ONE runs Smokestack.

The "Happy Couples" are what I enjoy most about the deck. I love the thought I must put into which ones to marry off. Much more challenging than dropping one Sliver after another. As for the ones that seem lackluster, remember it takes a Concerted Effort to achieve progress!
I really enjoy the flavor here and it is too bad the Coalition Victory is banned in the format. The only other suggestions I would make is maybe Legacy Weapon (the history of those who started the movement) and Academy Rector as the giver of the vows.

Game report #1:
Horde of Notions + Chromanticore =
When the Horde is married to Elgaud Shieldmate and also bestowed the right to fly, then that's just a double good time!
As always, you have made a really cool and flavorful deck that tells an awesome story while still being good. I don't currently have any suggestions for cards, but wanted to say that I love this before I head off for the night.
Marath, Will of the Wild Tokens!! / Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund Dragons! / Muzzio, Visionary Architect / Brago, King Eternal / Daretti, Scrap Savant / Narset, Enlightened Master / Alesha, Who Smiles at Death / Bruna, Light of Alabaster / Marchesa, the Black Rose / Iroas, God of Victory / Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury / Omnath, Locus of rage / Titania, Protector of Argoth / Kozilek, the Great Distortion
Modern
Elves / Titanshift / Merfolk
Game Report #2:
Horde of Notions + Spirit of Resistance =
Even better, when our horde of progressive notions is forging a new path to equality, nothing can stand in our way!
Maybe Hopeful Eidolon and Thassa's Emissary (the lobster buffet at the reception?) for more buffs to Horde? Eternal Witness (the city clerk) to get back stuff discarded to Wild Research/FOF/Chasm? You don't need to marry it. Equal Treatment cantrips.

Am considering cutting Sphinx's Revelation for Mystical Tutor.
