It definitely has the possibility of inclusion. With Paradox Engine and 3 brick counters, we could potentially play all the cards in our deck, as long as we have spells to play in case we hit pockets of land. Sensei's Divining Top will also allow us to manipulate the top of our deck in order to help prevent that.
While I think it's a great card, and will undoubtedly be a staple in multiple formats, it has no real synergy with this deck and I will not be including it in the deck.
Once again, the full spoiler for the next set was released today. While there were quite few good cards, and some really great ones as well, there wasn't much love for the Goblin Pope this time around. In fact, it seems there is only one card that could possibly fit into the deck, and that card is:
The first ability only costs 2 mana to activate, and will let us dig into the deck itself to try and find something to play. Notice that it says we may play the card. That means if we were to exile a land, we could play it so long as we haven't made our land drop for the turn. If it's not a land, we cast it from exile and pay any mana costs, and then we put a brick counter on it.
Once we hit three brick counters, we are able to activate its second ability simply by tapping it with no mana investment, and if we hit a nonland card, we can cast it for free. This is really good with untap effects, especially with Paradox Engine. Add in Sensei's Divining Top, and we can manipulate our deck in order to play a bunch of spells from our deck for free. This card can get insane in here.
As far as possible cuts, I'm not quite sure yet. I'm really liking how the deck has been playing out, so it definitely is a difficult choice. I may consider dropping Solemn Simulacrum or Cathartic Reunion, with Reunion being the frontrunner for cuts. If any of you have any input, please let me know your ideas.
I personally cut Cathartic Reunion for Oracle's Vault myself. I truly don't miss it.
Mini gameplay report...so I won a game out of nowhere after resolving a Scrap Mastery with a full yard. The last player left was playing some discard heavy Teffari's Puzzle Box Notion thief and Spinx's Tutelage deck. After resolving it I suited a Blightsteel (the only card left in my library and not needing to draw) up with boots and it was over.

Cathartic Reunion is probably the safest cut to make. Late game it can be pretty bad if you don't have the two cards to discard. Tormenting Voice isn't the best either, but it's better than Reunion.
On a side note, Oracle's Vault has been pretty fun to play. Few more games and I should be able to do an official update post.
After playing a few games with Vault, I have decided it has earned it's place in the deck. Not only does it allow us to dig deeper into the deck, but when you get three brick counters on it, we get to play the card for free. When used in conjunction with Sensei's Divining Top, we can guarantee we will hit a spell to cast, or even a land that we need. Combine with Paradox Engine and you can cast a bunch of your deck for free. This can definitely be game changing.
In order to make room for Vault, I have decided to cut Reunion. While red doesn't have very much as far as card draw goes, I feel like this was a safe cut to make. Tormenting Voice is a lot safer to play, as you only have to discard one card instead of two.
On a side note, I was able to get in a game on Xmage with the deck against Derevi. I had the board essentially locked down with Clock of Omens/Winter Orb and they were tapped out. I cast Paradox Engine and with some Clock activations and casting a Goblin Welder, I netted enough mana to cast and activate Mindslaver. Took over their turn and got rid of some of their lands; nothing too spectacular. On my turn, I got out Inventors' Fair and tutored Planar Bridge into Vault. At this point I was just durdling and they were along for the ride. I had Sensei's Divinig Top so I was netting a bunch of mana and casting stuff from Vault. Could've kept going but decided to end the game with Blightsteel Colossus/Lightning Greaves. Props to my opponent for sitting through about 10-15 minutes of Solitaire.
I used to run mana doublers in the form of Caged Sun and Gauntlet of Might. I found out that I didn't need as much mana as they could produce, so I dropped Sun first, and then eventually Gauntlet. The deck hasn't really slowed down much, if any, without the doublers.
The thing I don't like about Lens is you lose a land in order to double up on your mana, and if they have removal for it, you just got 2-for-1'd. And if you recur it, you lose more lands. Just not a fan of the card.
I initially looked at playing this as the traditional Disk/Stax list, but playing with old WCD I realized how powerful the options became focusing MLD with Stax. It doesn't win every game, but I've been winning about 80% of my 4 man pods in competitive play in the Lower-Mainland of BC.
I would like to keep the deck running along the same strategy still, but are there any suggestions you guys have for *"unfun" cards
I recently dusted off my spellslinger Daretti (a little different yea). Anyways I thought I would mention that Pirate's Pillage looks kind of crazy given it gives us a filter as well as artifacts to use for rez. I thought I would mention it and see if you thought it might be worth running in a more traditional list as well or not.
I liked that it gives multiple chaff artifacts plus looting for what I felt was a fairly reasonable cost.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
I'm going to have to go through this list and see if I can find anything interesting in recent sets to give this deck a little tune up. I might have to get it loaded into MTGO soon.
After going through the newest sets, the only card I can imagine going in here would be Karn, Scion of Urza. Kinda sad to be honest. Mox Amber doesn’t do much here. Jaya Ballard’s second ability is the only thing we’d really use.

Does anyone have any thoughts?
Pirate's Pillage has been amazing for me. It really doesn't cost any more than Tormenting Voice but it gives two artifacts that can be used to store mana or cycled with the commander. You also get to set up a rez off of it with the discard effect of the card. I really can't sing its praises loud enough. Its a card I have started using a lot more in general and I think it has a real home in Daretti.

I apologize for not responding when you first suggested it. That really does seem bonkers here. I’m definitely going to try it out.
I think I’m gonna cut some of the lockout cards, like Blood Moon and the Orb/Clock lock. Thoughts?

From the standpoint of them being good.... I wouldnt.... from the standpoint of them being jerk moves I would...
It really comes down to what your intent is. From a standpoing of playing hard to win then no you should not cut them but if you want to make a deck that is more friendly to play against you might.

I’m having a heck of a time finding something to cut. I took out Blood Moon for new Karn, but can’t seem to find something else for Pillage. Got a lot of thinking to do.

The only card I'm excited to test is Oracle's Vault.
That's the only one I've seen so far as well.
While I'm a little disappointed we didn't get very much, I'm also relieved I don't have to test many cards.

It really doesn't do anything for us. All it does is filter mana into mana of any color, which this deck doesn't really need.
