Crawlspace doesn't prevent attacks on Daretti, I find Silent Arbiter to work much better.
Also, this might just be a call for my meta, but running Hellkite Tyrant seems like a serious risk, any steal or clone effect and you are donezo. I don't like providing my opponents with the key to take me down.
Crucible is nearly worthless in this deck with your lands being what they are (even after considering pitching them to daretti and playing them after). Why not make it awesome by adding the mesa, foothills, mire, tarn, and a wasteland?
Crawlspace is weak in my opinion. To me it reads: "aggro decks can still beat you up." Perhaps silent arbiter might work better.
Burnished hart has been great for me. Last game I had skullclamp on it and rings of brighthearth and valakut in play. When I sacked the hart I put 4 mountains on the battlefield, drew 2 cards, and cast 4 lightning bolts. Obviously it won't always be that good but still, at worst its usually a blocker that fetches 2 mountains.
goblin welder and slobad are very strong in this deck. I know the recruiter is expensive but I would at least include goblin matron to tutor for them. I'd add kiki jiki too.
Skullclamp has been outstanding card draw for me. Not just for 1/1's but for all those artifact creatures that end up going in the graveyard with welder-type shenanigans.
I notice your write up mentions darksteel colossus. You might want to delete that since it isn't in your decklist.
Thanks for those suggestions! Lots to comment on...
I wouldn't call Crucible of Worlds worthless, but you're right I could get more mileage out of it. I just only own one copy of each fetchland, so I don't have a bunch just lying around to shove into the deck.
I agree with Crawlspace, and it is going to just get cut for something else or go to Silent Arbiter. I just gotta make the change is all.
Burnished Hart can be good, but I don't find it necessary in this list with the # of mana rocks I run. If I had more consistent land tutor for Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle, then I'd definitely back it.
Adding a goblin tutor seems wise, so I will look to find one. I have already commented on Kiki-Jiki in the past, but I just don't find adding him to be worth it with the limited number of cards I would want to copy.
Skullclamp is outstanding for any deck lol... Again, limited number of creatures and tutors for it make me decide against it.
Darksteel Colossus is actually in the deck, I just need to not be lazy and update the list now that I finished with all the content.
I'm running a Daretti deck too, and I noticed how powerful Scuttling Doom Engine is a deck like this is. Abusing the six damage multiple times a game is great.
I totally forgot about Scuttling Doom Engine! I should definitely work him in this deck as well.

Already commented on Crawlspace and Hellkite Tyrant, but in regards to the Tyrant - if I see I am playing against a deck that likes to copy, I am ready to sideboard him out. There are several artifact decks that don't pack those type of cards that this guy hoses in my EDH/Commander League, plus I like the card a lot, so it is generally mainboarded. I will edit my card discussion around him to include these facts so that people understand better
Lodestone Bauble is a card I never heard of until now... I think it would be a pretty good control card after a mass land wipe, but without that it probably only serves as a fast way to get Metalcraft. If rushing Metalcraft is the goal, I would use Lotus Petal instead.
Hammer? Lol. No, but seriously, Ive been thinking about adding it not only for an extra artifact/haste enabler, but it does work well with Crucible. I do have a sort of flex spot with Trash for Treasure, so maybe I'll replace it.

Lol... I think Hammer provides more benefit overall than Anger does for all the reasons you mentioned and I've noticed this deck doesn't really need haste, it just makes it nicer.
Anyways, finally got not lazy so I updated the decklist and posted the first set of changes I made:
Reasons: A lot of the cards included were discussed in the thread so far, so I wanted to make homes for them. The cuts were because of the following reasons:
Crawlspace: Didn't protect Daretti well enough.
Ward of Bones: Slow to get out, didn't prevent someone from already beating into me if they had a big board.
Myr Turbine: Not enough Myr, better token makers out there.
Hellkite Tyrant: I really love this card, but I think too many people will see it and flip out about it. I will sideboard it in when I want to for certain games, but keep it out of the main deck to mitigate forum comments lol...
Vedalken Orrery: Not enough bang for the buck - I honestly don't need to instant cast much in this deck and I don't really care what other people are doing on their turns. This isn't a control deck really.
Mountain: Needed to make room for the Tomb.
More changes will come as comments come in I appreciate the discussions so far guys. I think you can all tell I am going to Primer this once the thread is old enough
Just traded for a gauntlet of might, card is so good on turn 4 in daretti, you can seriously do some disgusting things once you have ~10 mana that early. I'm thinking of taking out veldaken orrey and topor orb from my build, already have a shimmer myr which does its job. Adding in Soul of NPH and blightsteel.

Hi I'm Infecter4life and ironically I only play GBx decks.

I don't have the trade bait to get my own Gauntlet of Might, but I absolutely agree it is awesome in R decks. The two cards you are considering cutting may work for you, I find Torpor Orb to be awesome in this list at protecting me from CitP artifact destruction.
Yeah, and I am having to fight against some elitist leader of the League that is saying Collector's Edition are not legal because they are not tournament legal... TLDR: I can't use those cards yet until I get through that wall of Dbag-ery...

There were some times where i had to discard to Daretti's +2 and i didnt have any artifacts to do so especially early game (my luck with opening hands is always bad), so i had to discard my mountains and lodestone bauble is a way of recurring my lands.

That's a big bummer. Everyone around my area is cool with using CE, gold-bordered, and proxy cards.
I just replaced my CE Gauntlet with an unlimited version.

I utilize Crucible of Worlds for that, but I would say that the Bauble is a good budget version for that.

Yeah, I am working to fix that stupid rule Our League season is almost up and we plan to have a meeting to go over rules/card bans for the next season. Hopefully the BS will be fixed by then.
Hmmm, I honestly have not considered going the route of more control artifacts yet. My recent cut was taking out most of the control cards beyond Non-Basic land hate (which I love to use vs. the many tri color decks in my league). If I went more control again, the Orbs would definitely make it into the deck since I have cute little ways to tap them down already - Clock of Omens being the best - and they would really do well.
In terms of the lands you listed, I am kinda shocked I didn't shove in a Kher Keep, so I will fix that. And while I love having expensive cards, owning copies of Mishra's Workshop and The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale is not likely to happen. I have one Ancient Tomb in my possession and I am just lazy to sideboard it in and out of every deck, but I really should start doing it...
The problem with Brittle Effigy is it gets exiled after use. Perhaps the new card Unstable Obelisk might be better in your build for dealing with late game creatures, with the added benefit of being a mana rock until then.

I was skeptical about Unstable Obelisk but it will definitely be staying in my deck. It took care of a Rest In Peace a couple days ago. It's expensive, but it's a rock and sac fodder unless you need the vindicate ability.

Duplicant has always been the boss at getting rid of late game creatures with his Imprint ability, so I wouldn't add something directly in for that.

I utilize Karn Liberated, Chaos Warp, or Spine of Ish Sah for the spot removal since the Obelisk is fairly mana intensive and these cards are effective immediately after being cast. But the Obelisk is definitely not a bad addition if someone is building on a budget or looking for more ways besides the 3 I use.
I think I like Unstable Obelisk better then Spine of Ish Sah. Given they both hold very stable spots in my deck, but I always feel somewhat sad when Spine gets sent into my hand from the graveyard, plus the Obelisk in not a dead draw early game like Spine is. Maybe I'm undervaluing Spine cause you can discard it for use later, but it's nice to know you always have a way to remove a card when Unstable Obelisk is on the board.

my personal taste for the card is that it plays out as a rattlesnake more than just a removal source. When I play EDH, I hate playing with rattlesnake cards because they can be game slowing and also draw a lot of aggro in my direction, which I never like to do preemptively.

I was stupid not to run Hammer of Purphoros. Extremely stupid.

Anyways, finally got not lazy so I updated the decklist and posted the first set of changes I made:
12/13/2014
