Was there discussion on KCI? I've got a friend who plays this deck, and it gets absurd value for him. KCI+Spine of Ish-Sah, gets better with a Sculpting Steel, goes infinite with Nim Deathmantle and either Wurmcoil or Battlesphere, helps accumulate absurd value with your welder effects and ETB permanents, and basically wombos with Scrap Mastery. I would imagine its not as good here as it was for me in Sharuum, but it was one of the best cards in my engine Sharuum build. I'm curious on your guys' thoughts, if you've tested the card.

Hi, I've got most of the deck put together, but I'm missing a few things, can I get your opinion on which I should prioritize on getting, and suitable replacements?
Rings of Brighthearth
Forcefield
Imperial Recruiter
Mox Diamond
Grim Monolith
After doing some testing, it seems that in order to get the most out of Aetherworks Marvel, we need to be running a free sac outlet such as Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer or Krark-Clan Ironworks. That makes me hesitant to want to run it, even tho with Daretti's emblem, it makes it better. Thoughts?
Quicksmith Genius has been an all-star so far. A mini Daretti is nothing to scoff at.

I always prioritize fast mana first. You want Daretti as soon as you can, so I would order those like this:
Grim Monolith
Mox Diamond
Rings of Brighthearth
Blood Moon
Imperial Recruiter
Forcefield

Combustible Gearhulk has been pretty fun too. I've gotten both sides of him and haven't been disappointed yet.
Metalwork Colossus has been ok. Nothing great or crazy yet, but I did manage to cast for free.
I don't like aetherworks marvel. I suspect that would be a dead draw most of the time. And the only card I don't really like among the other 4 is madcap experiment. I'd expect to take damage to put a mana rock or something in most of the time. It'd be feasible if I had reliable ways of putting something good on top, like with a scroll rack which I don't run.

I think it came up, but my reason for not including it is I utilize Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer as my free sacrifice outlet instead. I like the instant response to potential removal it provides. KCI would provide more redundancy that I don't think I need just yet.

I would honestly take Forcefield off this list - it is going to be cut from my deck as soon as this set drops due to it being more of "Look at this expensive card guys!" instead of actually useful in most situations.

I am going to give all the cards listed above a shot except Metalwork Colossus - like what Guerte has said, it seems meh and not really a strong beat stick for a win.

I'm still going to acquire all the new stuff for the deck, and shove what I don't use into my "toolbox."
I may be dropping Ulamog and Mirrorworks to during the revamp. Thoughts?

I wouldn't touch Mirrorworks personally, it has been a hidden gem for me.

I decided to keep it in. When it's good, it's real good.
I think I have my changes made. Just need to do a bit more testing and see if I like it.
This is my latest build. Was wondering if anyone had ideas for any cards I might have missed that could be "fun" additions. I just realized last night that mindcrank was a card and put it in so I'm pretty sure I missed a card or 2. I'm not aiming for stax lockout- just random card interactions like possibility storm plus trinity sphere.
Welder is in the list under graveyard. Purphoros is one of my few "win cons" as I can pair him with norin or myr turbine to shock everyone to death. I've been thinking about finding a slot for karn as he would let me swing at someone. maybe drop staff of nin for karn?
Oh lords of scrapyard deliciousness and followers of the goblin Pope, I salute you!
I decided to upgrade my beloved Daretti deck. The cards in question are some solid classics that i ought to acquire long ago, while the others are new cards from Kaladesh that i think they are worthy of a test drive.
My predicament as expected is what to remove to make space for them.

Arcbound Crusher can be a house in a group that runs a lot of artifacts because it gets counters for opponent artifacts too, so don't write it off completely.
Ghirapur Æther Grid is awesome for a token strategy, which Daretti decks can definitely do too.
Well to be honest Arcbound Crusher doesn't work 8 times out of 10. When it works it's nice, but it's inconsistency is irritating. So yes it looks like a sure drop.
You couldn't believe how many player kills i have pulled off with Hellkite Igniter. This guy is nuts! But i understand ultimately i need to cut something.
I cut mine to make room for other things. Easy to remove, hard to get back, IMO. It definitely is solid when you can keep it out.
That's fair, but ideally you're only casting it on a turn when you can swing for Lethal. Getting access to 11 or so mana isn't that hard with this deck, and you're likely pumping it for +5/+0 every time. Many times, I'll be pumping for +10/+0.
Ultimately I'd say it's a very meta-dependent option. My meta doesn't use a lot of spot removal or counters. Board sweepers, sure, but very few can be activated on my turn.

I felt dirty having this hand and it was dirty how it ended. Daretti's god hands are brutal.
I decided to upgrade my beloved Daretti deck. The cards in question are some solid classics that i ought to acquire long ago, while the others are new cards from Kaladesh that i think they are worthy of a test drive.

The classic omissions that are going in are: Crucible of worlds, Recoup, Chandra, Flamecaller, Gamble, Maze of Ith.
The Kaladesh cards i want to experiment with are: Quicksmith Genius, Foundry Inspector, Cathartic Reunion, Combustible Gearhulk.
Help me goblin Pope's exarchs! You are my only hope!
Fire Diamond tends to not be that helpful for early turn Darettis, which is the point of the mana rocks in this deck.
Mind's Eye is okay, but you've already got a draw engine in Daretti.
Mindslaver is useful, but incredibly tedious to use.
Ring of Three Wishes is hugely mana intensive.
Sculpting Steel
Arcbound Crusher
Hoarding Dragon
Precursor Golem
